About: I’ve taken care of animals ever since I was little, whether that was taking care of our cats and dogs or watching a neighbors pet. I worked in the veterinary field for a couple of years and a technician so I am comfortable administering any medications. I am open to sitting dogs of all ages, I just ask that if they aren’t potty trained to please provide a kennel. I have a border collie who loves to make friends so we hope to see your furry friends soon! I am currently a PhD student here at the U of A. I do have classes and work during the weekdays but I am available after 5pm. On the weekends me and my dog take it easy and stay in. I do live in an apartment complex. There are two dog parks present in the complex if you would want me to take your pet to run some energy out (but totally understand if you would prefer no visits to the dog park). I am able to crate any pet that needs to be I just ask that you supply the crate since I do not have one at this time. I do have a 7yr old border collie who loves to meet new friends and is very patient with energetic breeds. I take her on a long walk at least once a day and will definitely take any pet I watch on a long walk too (a girl has to get her steps in).

About: I've had dogs most of my life. First was Lance, a Springer Spaniel, when i was 4-yrs old. Add German Shorthair Pointers, Weimeraners, Labs, both English and Anerican Cocker Spaniels, terrier mix breeds and my current pup is a Long Hair Chihuahua. Most of my dogs have been shelter rescues. Also, I foster dogs for local shelters. I am retired and spend most of my time at home working in my new garden reading, or crafting. When we have dog guests, our time is devoted primarily to our visitors. Human away time rarely exceeds 4-hrs per day. I have a large fenced yard to run and play in whenever they want Chewy, the Chihuahua, is a friendly companion. Indoors is a dog-friendly/dog priority 3-bdrm home. Plenty of space if a visitor needs some quiet privacy or a mim with pups wants separation. Daily walks add to our exercise regime. Balls, frisbees and dogs are shared. Treats abound!

About: I want to open our home for dogs that need to feel loved and comforted while their family is away. I have had a pet most of my life. Different breeds from a small terrier to large dogs. Currently we have an older lab that loves everyone. We choose a Labrador after training puppies with Guide Dogs for the Blind for 5years. I like fun energetic pets as well as slow moving or special needs. I will take pictures and videos so you can see how your family pet is doing. We retired to Green Valley 13 years ago. One of us is always home, but I will be the primary care given for your pet. I greatly appreciate the opportunity to care for your precious family member. My husband and I are retired and home full time.With a fenced back yard for your pet. And many areas to walk . If you have an early riser, I'm up at 5:30 daily. Our home has an enclosed front court yard. And a 3ft6inch brick wall in back. I keep only plants I can see under for the safety of my animals.

No dog scares me no matter the aggressiveness because I will always find a way to show I am friendly. About: I grew up surrounded by pets, so caring for animals has always come naturally to me. I started dog sitting for friends while in college and have loved it ever since. I genuinely enjoy spending time with dogs and making sure they feel happy, comfortable, and well cared for while their owners are away. I work during the week, but I’m generally available in the evenings and have a flexible schedule on weekends. I’m happy to accommodate different needs whenever possible… it’s usually just a matter of coordinating schedules in advance 😊 I live in an apartment with access to a dog park right in the complex, so there is plenty of space for walks, playtime, and fresh air. I also love spending time outdoors and often visit parks, lakes, and hiking trails whenever I can. If a dog enjoys adventures, I would be happy to bring them along with me :)

But let me just say how incredibly comfortable, Ashley made him feel,( as well as me! ) She constantly sent daily videos and pictures, along with updates! It made me feel so relaxed and I was able to enjoy my vacation! James has special-needs, and he is elderly, Ashley was so accommodating to his needs!
