About: Added Note: I live out in a rural area of Florence. I am happy to work out a halfway point for meeting or possibly pickup/drop-off for your dog if my location is too far of a drive. I’ve had dogs my whole life. I currently own 3, a husky mix, a chihuahua, and a chihuahua mix. They are my babies. I’ve also been a foster mom to several puppies while they waited for future homes. I’ve house-trained puppies and cared for senior doggies with their different medical routines. I am a teacher so I have school breaks off and love to watch people’s fur babies while I’m not working at school. I can do around-the-clock care during these times and take extra good care of the dogs. I am a very attentive pet parent. I have a big backyard that is accessed by doggie door so they can do their business whatever or enjoy the sunshine. I feed twice a day and can do more as needed. I have cameras in my home in case I ever need to go out for a bit but would likely try to stay home while watching a dog for someone else. Dogs will always have toys and my 3 very friendly dogs to play with. They will all be fed together and I would be attentive to a guest dog’s eating habits since they are in a new environment.

I have fostered dogs and cats for multiple rescues and county shelters, saving them from being euthanized. I work part time and am home often. On the weekends when I do work, my husband is home. I have fostered and volunteered for both rescues and shelters so I get experience with dogs of all ages and breeds. I also have experience with cat & kitten fosters. For walks I use two points of attachment to both my wrist and leash belt to help keep dogs extra secure. I have a LOT of experience walking multiple dogs at once and extremely strong dogs as well. I am very careful when entering the home to place my foot in first and block any escape artists. I have never had a pet escape. My yard is secured with a large brick wall. I have two friendly dogs that are used to all breeds from our foster experience. I also have experience and space to keep your pet in a separated area if your pet would rather not play with others.

About: We've been caring for pets since we were both about 5 years old, with Gary's grandparents owning a farm & ranch in Montana growing up. Karen's family bred poodles since she was born. We're good at training puppies, and adult dogs as well. We love playing fetch much of the day with our Tilly and will do what your pet loves as well! We've cared for HUGE birds, tiny birds, chickens, cats, dogs large and small, rabbits, cattle, horses and pigs. We have also administered various types of medicine and cared for different types of infections, teaching owners as well. We love to snuggle with them and give them lots of attention! I, Karen, am used to cooking holistic meals for our dog and will care for your pet according to your instructions as well. We enjoy walking them, swimming with them and petting them often. They deserve it! They rely on us for their WHOLE well-being. Consistency is so important for animals so we will respect and follow the plans you lay out for them. We can also gather mail, water plants, do housekeeping, organization, gardening and more. Gary is a great handyman should the need arise during a sit. He maintains our pool and irrigation systems and makes any repairs needed. We're truly a great team!❤️ This is our sole work so available most of the time! Of course it depends on the type of care you need and if it works along with another sit. For example, we could walk your dog daily and have an overnight sit that allows for a short leave for that. We are very attentive, loving and kind! Our goldendoodle Tilly is on a nice schedule for exercise, eating, supplements and only healthy treats. We keep her clean and always look her over for any wounds and whatnot. We keep a clean home with uplifting music for pets. Also, we're very cognizant of pet signals, like needing to go potty, play, snack, snuggle and wanting general attention. It's one of those things that you get blessed by for just BEING a blessing to them!💛

She was incredibly mindful of the environment, actively avoiding areas where off-leash dogs were roaming to keep mine safe. It’s clear that she genuinely loves animals and has the biggest heart. I am astounded by her level of care and attention. She went above and beyond in every way, and I trust her completely with my dogs.
