About: I grew up in Texas with 2 cats. One was older and less personable while the other was more comfortable around people. I have a dog now that I’ve had since he was 5 weeks old. I’ve also had two dogs growing up, one with diabetes and health needs. So I have experience with medication as well as vet visits. About: I grew up on a farm taking care of blood hounds! I’ve always loved animals, and have a special place in my heart for poodles. About: I’ve grown up alongside dogs and other animals and helped take care of them since I was young. When I was sixteen, my family adopted our puppy Sal at eight weeks old, and it was my responsibility to take care of him, train him, and love on him. From there, I volunteered at Almost Home animal shelter in Van Buren for two years, where I walked dogs of all sizes and weights, played with them, fed and cared for them, and cleaned out their kennels and bowls. “We were really impressed with the experience we had with Kay. Our dogs were so well cared for and had such a good time. Kay had other dogs for our girls to play with, they took our dogs on walks (even with all the bad weather), and they had a dog door and a big back yard.
