While it was too hot for many walks, they made sure Mowgli was engaged by playing with the hose (Mowgli loves water). He also enjoyed the resident canines. That they so easily accepted this bouncy pig tells me how well-socialized they are. Maru was great at communicating with me, and she took my concerns that Mowgli not over do himself very seriously. He came home balanced - not exhausted and not overstimulated - which is exactly what I'm looking for in a sitter. We will be booking again!”

About: I've cared for animals since I was a preteen, having my own dog since 2013—well versed in all things dog, and I live less than five minutes from the nearest 24-hour emergency vet clinic. My pets are my life! I have a cat (10 lbs, female) and a dog (small terrier, 15 lbs, female) who are both spayed and socialized with other animals. The dog, Chanel, is especially fond of other dogs who are friendly, regardless of size. My cat's name is Ellie, a domestic shorthair, and she mostly stays away when there's another dog over. I have fostered dogs and kittens with local rescue groups as well as Little Rock Animal Village (LRAV). I am also a registered volunteer with LRAV. I'm currently working from home for the most part, other than going to a client meeting sometimes. I have cameras throughout the downstairs, where the animals will stay if I am gone. However, I spend quite a lot of time at home, which places me in a great position to be available to care for my pets and any guests I'm caring for, be it a foster, overnight or a board. I have a fenced-in yard, can go outside with the dogs, and I have a neighborhood that's walkable if that's a needed service. If I'm caring in a client's home, I go by their instructions and do not mind being flexible and keeping lines of communication open. I know pet anxiety, and sometimes we just want a little pic of our babies before bed. :)

About: I grew up with cats. I rescued Hidey a few years ago, a grey kitten who was very shy but is now quite outgoing. I cat-sat through college and am hoping to get back into it. I've had experience with shy cats, lap cats, lazy cats, and cats that get the zoomies and bounce around the room. When I stop by I’ll make sure they have food, water, a clean litter box, and try to play with them or cuddle them if they’re interested. About: I took care of animals ever since I was a kid and I have owned my own since I was 18. I've always had a big heart for animals. I believe they should be treated just as any other family member. My husband and I only work part-time so we will be able to love on them and spend time with your animals throughout the day and night. I am familiar with puppy energy, older dog needs, and the social interaction that your furry fam requires and their individual personalities that require a unique individual approach. I have traveled with pets, and know how important routines and frequent checkups are for their social and mental well-being! I have currently full availability. Dog sitting for an extended period? Absolutely not a problem. I am able to do check-ins during certain times, or if you just want them to have a bathroom break every few hours or so I’m fine with that. I am alright to do some travel for small to mid/large dogs, if they need some park time, or even if you are looking to have them taken somewhere and can’t swing by home to grab them! Currently have no pets (they had to stay back home with parents 😢) and willing to take a small animal for a weekender stay in my apartment if they have a kennel. In the event that I do I can only take them for a weekend due to apartment style living not being as suitable for a dog. However while they are here, I am able to walk them quite a bit in this area; Heights has great walkability. Most of my care would be for you at your home, walking, sitting, pickup, etc. If they like to grab treats, interact with people, etc. I can find an arrangement either you that works best for your pet. I have friends nearby who have had rescues, elderly pets, and love animals, so they would love to meet and greet and give your animal some love and plenty of attention

About: Ive had cats and dogs my entire life, along with a guinea pig (briefly (class pet)). I have experience with all ages of animal, including several “end of life” animals that required special care. I am a full time college student, studying architecture. I spend week days from 8-3 in school, and tutor occasionally in the evenings. I am available most days in the evenings for about 1-2 hours and almost every weekend (excluding a few hours each day for school). I am open to overnight stays in your home as long as the animals can be cared for early in the morning and left alone until early/mid afternoon. I do not do in home care, but am comfortable with all homes, including apartments. I do not care if the pets stay in a crate, room, or specific area of the house, and am also happy to have them with me at all times if that is how you prefer them to be cared for.

About: I have a very flexible schedule right now and most open availability in mornings and early afternoons. While it was too hot for many walks, they made sure Mowgli was engaged by playing with the hose (Mowgli loves water). He also enjoyed the resident canines. That they so easily accepted this bouncy pig tells me how well-socialized they are. Maru was great at communicating with me, and she took my concerns that Mowgli not over do himself very seriously. He came home balanced - not exhausted and not overstimulated - which is exactly what I'm looking for in a sitter. We will be booking again!”
