About: I'm a colon cancer survivor which fur babies have helped me through a lot I'm all about them and taking care of them because they have been all about me throughout my sickness.... Now that I'm a little better I want to give back to the unconditional creatures that gave to me in a time of need...I've had Weimaraners in my household for over 15 years and have had other fur babies and animals before that throughout my life, this chance that I could have to provide the love and care for the parents of those fur babies that need it. About: I’ve had pets my whole life, and caring for animals has always come naturally to me. I’ve owned both cats and dogs over the years, and I currently have three sweet dogs of my own, two Golden Retrievers and a Great Pyrenees mix. They are all very friendly and love meeting new furry friends. I also have experience fostering dogs from shelters, where I’ve worked on potty training, crate training, and helping dogs overcome challenges like reactivity with people or other pets. I work full time Monday through Friday from 8am to 5pm, but caring for pets is naturally part of my daily routine. My mornings start early, around 6 to 7am, with potty breaks followed by breakfast around 7am. Throughout the day, I provide additional potty breaks based on each pet’s needs, typically late morning from 10 to 11am, mid afternoon from 3 to 4pm, and again in the evening from 7 to 8pm, followed by dinner around 8pm. We always end the day with one last potty break before bedtime. On weekends, I am home more often, which allows for extra attention, walks, and playtime. I am very flexible and adapt to each pet’s individual needs, treating every visiting pet as if they were my own. “This was our first time using Rover and I'm so glad we did. Christy was great. We did a "meet & greet" in advance and introduced our pooch (Brody) to her home and pups. It was nice to leave Brody in a home vs. boarding in a kennel. We received daily photos and videos while we were on vacation. Brody was clearly comfortable with the whole experience and made friends while he was there. An example of Christy's love for dogs: Brody played down in a mud puddle one day and we received a video of him being blown dry after a bath. Dog lover!
