“Exceptional care! Great communication with pictures. I modified the reservation the night before and she was very accommodating. Levi had a wonderful time, I highly recommend.”

“First time Rover user had a most excellent experience with Jennifer. Jennifer is caring, calm, attentive, and very responsive. She provided my doodle a safe, comfortable environment for her stay. I highly recommend Jennifer.”

“Jennifer was great! I just moved to the area and was in need of a dog sitter for a few days. She was responsive, provided regular updates and gave them a lot of love. I plan to use her again in the future. Thank you again!!”

“Talhia was so awesome! This was my first overnight experience with Rover, and Talhia made me feel so comfortable! I received photos all weekend, and Graci Jo looked so happy. Thank you so much! I highly recommend Talhia!!!”

“Aislynn was absolutely amazing. She kept us updated on our puppy with pictures the entire trip. She included training, daily walks, and enrichment. This was my first time away from my puppy and she put me at ease. I will definitely rebook.”

“She was great. House was clean, doggie updates were adorable and pups came home happy and bathed. Be really specific on pick up and drop off times well in advance and this is a perfect sitter”

“Ally was so amazing with my Goose! She absolutely loved playing with all her goldens! Ally was super responsive to any question or text I sent and also sent daily updates with pictures! Will definitely be rebooking with Ally, she’s a wonderful person to watch your babies!”

“Anna watched BJ for us during the tornado scare while we were in LA. I was so worried not being able to be with my dog in such scary weather. Anna kept us updated and truly treated BJ as one of her own. That really let me know that we will probably never use another sitter unless she is unavailable because she really does love the animals she watches. We can’t thank you enough Anna, you rock!!”

About: I have three years of dog-sitting experience, caring for everything from energetic puppies to gentle seniors. As a proud pet parent myself, I believe in showering our babies with all the love and affection their precious lives deserve. I prioritize active, joyful outdoor time, including trips to the park, long walks, and relaxing together on the back porch! I'm correctly working part time and have a fairly flexible schedule. I want to be able to prioritize your pet's needs whether that looks like 1+ hour walks/ enrichment time or special feeding times and instructions. Your pets comfort is my number 1 priority. I love to go on long walks, go to the dog park, or used the fenced in dog space in my neighborhood to allow our babies the time they need to play and get the enrichment that they need. A pet is always welcome to make themselves at home in my space even if that means that I have to adapt certain things to their needs like assistance getting in bed for puppies and elder dogs or making sure that their favorite toys are always available for them to play with.
“Highly recommend!! Morgan sent me photos and videos throughout the entire weekend and my dog was always playing and having fun. Her dogs were playing with my lab all weekend. I felt very comfortable knowing he was in good hands and will absolutely book with Morgan again!”

“My dogs - both young and old - loved staying with Savannah and her husband. We were also completely comfortable and confident the dogs had great care the entire time. Highly recommended!”

“Gina is wonderful! We had tried a few places to bring our dog when we left town and Gina's place has been the best place for our fur baby :) she is very punctual, responsive, available, and always provides a detailed update that we appreciate. We like to use her regularly knowing Rooney is in good hands and has two other nice dogs to play with in a fenced back yard! Thanks Gina!”

“Mallory and her family took great care of my dog, Dottie, over the holidays! I was a little anxious that Dottie would misbehave (she has only been with me a short time and this was her first time staying with a dog sitter). Mallory was great at communicating and great with handling my sweet pup! I was totally reassured that I made the right choice choosing her. I would definitely leave Dottie with her again. I have used a number of different Rover sitters, and Mallory is my favorite!”

“Leanna was perfect! I am most definitely a crazy dog mom and she made me feel super comfortable about leaving my pup. She also sent me pictures randomly to show me what a good time thor was having and send a video when I was missing him and asked how he was. She was super sweet and worked with me for pick up and drop off times. I will definitely use Leanna again for any future bookings!”

“Danielle was in every sense excellent. She was far more capable than myself of watching these guys and was so chilled out during their entire stay as if to say, “don’t worry, i’ve got it.” My guys, Robby and Zoe, would exceedingly recommend that you book her at once. Thank you.”

“Thank you for caring for Dante ! He came back home a happy baby ! Amber definitely took good care of him and I couldn’t of been more pleased 😃 definitely will book with her again in the future”

“Savannah is an outstanding sitter! She takes initiative to problem solve any scenario (cat tipping over automatic feeder or kitties still in introduction phase). She is caring, and is kittie leash knowledgeable! My boys are even getting along better now. Savannah will be my go to sitter in the future for sure.”

“Jake took such great care of my pets! He was able to handle my cat, senior dog and our puppies, was such a lifesaver while I was out of town. The pictures he took are so cute too, would definitely recommend Jake watching your pets, he treated them with a lot of care.”

“Katherine was so helpful and considerate to Trixie Cat, letting her out on the porch and giving her lots of pets :) it was such a relief to know that she was there for me and gave me reports during each visit. Next time I go out of town I will be sure to schedule Katherine again, and recommend her to my friends with pets”

“Thank you Zoe! She took great care of our 3 cats, and did great taking care of our elderly one Cheeto. They can be dirty sometimes but Zoe did awesome job keeping their litter boxes and surrounding areas clean. Drop in photos of every cat was a nice touch as well. 10/10 she is a great person and sitter!”

“Gabriel was an excellent sitter. She communicated with us daily and let us know how our cat was doing each day. I would recommend her to anyone that has pet sitting needs. We will keep her on our list for further needs.”

About: My family has always had a cat in our home!! I’ve had experience pet sitting for cats already in my neighborhood!! I’ve been responsible for my cat at home with medical needs. I really miss my cat back at home since I’m 4 hours away!
“Phenomenal!!!! The videos, the pictures, the time spent making sure my kitties got some love while I was out of town was so appreciated! It was my first time using Rover, and getting a pet sitter (that wasn’t a friend/family) and I have to say I’d gladly do it again!”

About: I know patience is key with most cats and I love to get them out of their shell. Oftentimes when I go to pet sit for cats I will bring a book to read or something to work on while I’m there so I can sit in their space and let them get used to me! My cat is personally more shy so I know how to be calm, but my big personality fits right in with the cats who like to play as well.

“Jennifer watched over my cat for a little over 2 weeks. Every single day we received an update with pictures and videos! I never once worried about the care he received. She was very flexible when our flight got delayed and was able to come an extra night! She even brought my cat a few boxes to play with! Would highly recommend Jennifer!”

“Picked up my check-in request on short notice and met up the next day to go over everything and get the key. Was communicative and made sure my 9 month old cat got through the few days I was gone. Stinky Pete approved”

“Lauren was fantastic, displaying the utmost patience and care with my cat. As a first time user of the platform, she also guided me through the process helpfully!”

About: I have had cats since I was born and I have also assisted my parents with fosters many kittens and adult cats for multiple years. I know how to take care of skittish or shy cats as well, since I have done that many times throughout fostering!

“Jennifer and Erwin were AMAZING! She was lovely and communicated with me quickly and clearly. She took great care of my kitten. She even washed my kittens blanket!! Couldn’t have asked for a better sitter.”

“Talhia was absolutely wonderful! this was my first time leaving my baby with someone else and she made me feel so much comfort. She sent pictures to me throughout the whole entire day , gave me updates on how she was doing, and loved my baby like it was her own. She will most definitely be my number one contact when I have to leave my baby.”

“Morgan was fantastic! We have a pup who has been dealing with some health issues, and we were nervous to leave her for the day, but Morgan made us feel very comfortable. She sent awesome updates, so we could enjoy our day and know our pup was doing just fine. Would definitely recommend her services!”

“Samantha did an amazing job! She was very accommodating as our drop off time was very last minute. She sent updates and we felt like our pup was in great hands the whole time. We will definitely reach out again when we are back in the area.”

“Zoe has a level of care for pets and for people that makes her stand out from the rest. She puts in so much time and love into making sure you AND your pet is comfortable. By far one of the best communicators I’ve encountered on Rover. Cannot say enough great things. 100/10”

“Ansley and her fur baby, Koda have been amazing! Solo has had a blast 3 different play dates while we’ve been in Tuscaloosa! We received lots of pictures and videos of Solo having a wonderful time! Communication was awesome! We look forward to our next trip to Alabama so Solo can visit his friends again!”

About: Hello! I'm looking forward to spending some of my time caring for your pets while you're away! I am really inspired by Old Friends Senior Dog Sanctuary and one day I hope to open my own animal sanctuary, but Rover will have to do for now. I've always had at least one dog in my house growing up. Right now I have two dogs as well as cats in my home. I also have a fenced yard to offer supervised play time and potty breaks. I'd be more than happy to drop in and make sure your lil' kitty-kat is well fed, played with, and has a clean litter box OR even host them in my cat room (AKA a quiet bedroom reserved just for cats that my pups do not have access to). Special skills: house training, crate training, medication administration- liquid and capsule, walking multiple (big) dogs at the same time, supervised play and feeding, etc. **Full disclosure: I am not on Rover for this to be my source of income. I keep my rates low because I know how expensive it can be when looking for trusted animal care, especially when you have more than one animal in the home and need to be away for more than a night. I am just offering the quality of care I want given to my animals when I am away. Any questions? Let's talk! My schedule during the day is pretty flexible as I work from home full time. I am also free during the weekend. What kind of care are you looking for and what days do you have in mind? I do offer a fenced yard and calm, child-free day care and pet sitting for those with proof of vaccination. I live in a house with plenty of room to stretch out and get comfortable. I am also able to take your dogs on leashed walks on the river trail or around town. My schedule is pretty flexible, I work from home so I have lots of autonomy. I’m home most of the time so there’s constant supervision. I have a fenced yard and extra bedrooms to offer a quiet space if your pet prefers to be away from the pack. Otherwise, I allow the animals in the house to nap, roam, and play wherever they'd like. My dogs are pretty social, they get along well with others and enjoy the dog park. My cats are also used to being around dogs and are pretty relaxed about it.

I usually am free any time of the day to come take your dog for a walk, check on them, or stay over night! I do live in a mobile home with three Goldens. About: Every dog is treated like family and cared for in a quiet, low-stress (300 acre) farm environment designed around their comfort and routine. With over 15 years of experience, I specialize in small-scale, boutique boarding with a very limited number of dogs at a time, ensuring close attention, consistency, and a calm atmosphere. Dogs follow a steady, predictable routine that includes outdoor time in a large fenced play area with partial shade for running and play, daily leash walks around the property, enrichment activities, and rest tailored to each dog’s individual needs and energy level. Dogs are thoughtfully matched by temperament to support a safe, comfortable environment. I have two well-socialized dogs of my own who enjoy other dogs, but interaction is always based on each visiting dog’s comfort level. If a dog prefers space or does best without other dogs, they can have a calm, low-traffic stay with minimal or no interaction. For dogs who enjoy socializing, my dogs provide friendly companionship in a supervised, relaxed setting. For dogs who do best on their own, I also offer the option of exclusive care—meaning no other client dogs will be booked during their stay. This allows for a fully personalized experience with my full attention. Dogs stay in a clean, climate-controlled indoor suite with indoor rest areas and direct access to a private fenced outdoor space. The focus is on individualized, attentive care where each dog can relax, feel secure, and settle in quickly. Caring for your dog is part of my daily routine since I’m home full-time on the 300 acre farm with the dogs throughout the day. Dogs enjoy a consistent schedule that includes outdoor play, walks, enrichment, meals, and rest, all tailored to their individual needs and energy levels. I stay hands-on with their care and provide regular updates so you feel comfortable while you're away. I provide structured, attentive care in a calm farm setting designed to help dogs feel safe and comfortable. Dogs enjoy outdoor play, leash walks, enrichment activities, meals, and rest breaks tailored to their individual needs and energy levels. I provide regular up-dates with photos and videos, and you can check in any time to see how your pup is doing. Dogs have access to a clean, climate-controlled indoors, which is especially helpful for dogs who need their own space or do best with limited interaction. Since I also have two dogs of my own, I carefully manage introductions and can provide fully separate accommodations with no direct contact with other dogs if needed. There’s also a separate large fenced and partially shaded outdoor area where dogs can safely play, explore, and relax throughout the day.

About: I have a dog and 2 cats of my own so I consider myself experienced in pet care. I have dog sat for many years now for both neighbors and family. Since I have owned many cats over the years I also consider myself experienced in cat care. I don’t mind cleaning up after pets and I can give medicine to unwilling pets. I don’t currently have a job so I my schedule is very flexible. I also don’t mind getting up early if necessary for your pet. I have a fenced backyard and my pets are friendly. I can easily crate your pet if that’s what they’re used to. I can also come to your house to take them out and give them plenty of love.
About: I’ve helped teach my dogs at home and love on older dogs. I volunteer at the shelter all the time. I have had animals ever since I was little. I have a part time job and can work this in however needed! Whether it’s stopping by or staying around, I am willing to work with you! No matter where I am, animals are constantly being loved and cared for by me. I will make sure they’re fed, cared for, walked, played with, and whatever else is needed.
About: I have been trusted to take care of my family and friends’ pets since I have had my own car. Now that I’m old enough I want to start looking after other people’s pets more because they say do what you love. I can’t have any dogs in my own household so I want to take care of other people’s babies the best that I can. I’m in college so it’s hard to navigate between being in my college town in my home town, but I’m doing the best I can to take care of as many pets as my schedule allows. I follow specific instructions and say with the pets as long as my schedule allows. I love to send pictures of the pets for their owners because I know how much I would miss my baby. I make sure I have eyes on the pets before I leave so I don’t close them in a room and notify parents of any weird behavior.
“Zoe was great with Polly - and I know that Polly appreciated the walks and interaction while still getting new to her new home. Zoe was also flexible on meeting before the Dog Walking to get to know Polly. Thanks Zoe!!”

About: I have many years of experience with dogs and other pets of all kinds. I was a sitter for many local families and their pets were always taken care of and loved. I understand how important it is for pets to feel safe and comfortable while their owners are away, and I always treat every animal like my own. I am a college student completing my work online. I am home full time spend most of my dog spending time with my dog polar. I have a quiet house for dogs who prefer a more peaceful environment but I also have a fenced in park area where I sometimes spend the day at for more high energy pets. The environment is very safe and your pets will be watched and safe at all time.

About: I’ve had pets in my home my entire life! Multiple dogs and at least one cat at a time. We have fostered many puppies and dogs some were medically fragile through our local humane society. As a child I learned how to be responsible for my pets and all their daily care. I am excited to meet your pets because I miss being around my own pets since I’m 4 hours from home and they are truly like one of our family members! I’m a full time student at the University of Alabama so I’m able to fit in pet care around my classes!! My classes are primarily in the morning!! I would communicate the pets needs with the owner to ensure I can provide the same care and attention they receive when their owner is at the home with them!

About: 🥰Bring your baby for their "fur-cation" where the fun & relaxation is!😍🐶 Having to get a sitter, drop-in visit or walks scheduled for your baby can be a stressor- being away from your baby & finding your person. Well you have found your person here. I love furbabies & will take great care of your baby. 🐶♥️ I have furkids myself & my house is setup with furbabies & safety in mind. 🥰 I have furbaby beds in several rooms, gates between doorways so in case someone wants to be alone, I can accommodate, or if your baby needs time to warm up to a new place, thats another reason to have gates, for them to meet & greet at their own pace, not rushed, bc they all have their own personalities & preferences. I just don't like the idea of having to stay in kennels, like at the vet! Thats what brought me to Rover as a client, now a sitter myself. I have a playroom for furbaby friends with plenty of toys, beds & a fenced in backyard for supervised potty & play! On pretty days we spend as much time outside as we can. We also have elevated beds outside, 2 little pup-pools, large grassy area & covered backporch with ceiling fans, patio umbrella & also a water misting fan to beat the heat! (Pup cups too!)🥰 My babies love everyone, but I know not everyone else's pups love the same things. Its important for them all feel safe & comfortable. I have kennels if needed, which we rarely use, with a spare room if needed. So if one wants to nap quietly & another wants to run & play, its no problem at all. My senior pup is 11 & will play some but mostly likes to lounge & watch the others; my twins are almost 2 & will play off & on all day, so your baby will have a great time! *I can do boarding in my home, sitter service, stop by for drop-in visit & feed/water, potty & play, or stop by & take them for a walk. I can stop by for kitty care, but cant board Ms/Mr Kitty at my house, sorry. *Ater hours pickup/drop off is no problem. My furkids are neutered/ spayed, fully vaccinated & get monthly heartworm/hookwork flea/tick prevention 💊 Prevention & good health is very important to me, as I would hope yours is taken care of also. Your baby is in good hands here, & will have plenty of playtime & treats; OR if we just want to nap, we love that too! 😊 ✨️Message me & let me know what days/times you need. Lots of love to go around.🥰 ***FIRST TIME CLIENTS: Safety for all in important. We can set up a quick meet & greet. That way, I can get better acquainted with your baby & you, and so your baby isn't meeting me as a stranger on our first day of stay, but I understand sometimes its not an option for whatever reason, & thats okay. We will be glad to have you! **We will meet in a Public/Safe place. Thanks & hope to see you & your babies soon! 🥰 I take care of furkids a little more "extra" than many furparents, I've been told! But to me that's a compliment! Bc being furbaby lover, I believe in real loving care, not just meeting basic needs. 🐕 🐈 🦮 COME STAY & PLAY!🥰🐶❤️ I work locally & have recent changes in my schedule which gives me more availability. I also have my own precious furbabies at home, so it's not a new task. I would manage the same way I do for my own. So let me know what you need & I will get you on my calendar! And Thank you for inquiring with me. And much thanks to my current Regulars & for all the wonderful comments & reviews! I appreciate you all so much & I'm always here, so book early, as I only keep a few babies at a time, for adequate, attentive care! I have a treated fenced in back yard for our Supervised play & potty & security cameras in & outside my home for safety. Update: Please ensure your furbabies are up to date on vaccines. Cameras on and within property for safety. *Misc info: I am a lifelong local to the area, and have a complete background attached to my profile & also have updated Government Clearance. So rest assured, your baby is safe with me. I love them, bc they are the epitome of unconditional love, & need to show that back to them all.
About: Hi pet parents! My name is Becca, and I have been pet-sitting for 8 years. Throughout that experience, many pet parents of varying ages have entrusted me with their furry children. I adore caring for animals, as I have a sweet orange cat of my own! I promise that I will give the same care and love to your pet that I give to my own little one. I currently work part time, and I am usually off at the critical times when I would need to drop in to feed your pet! I am always able to adjust my schedule to fit the times you will need me, especially in advance. The biggest thing for me when caring for my pets as well as your pet is to prioritize quality time with them. In addition to food of course. I make sure to spend as much time with my pets as I can, as they definitely notice when you're not interested in spending time with them. "Most importantly, I will try my best to make sure your pet is comfortable and not stressed. Trust between myself and my clients and their pets is essential!
About: What sets me apart from other sitters is my extensive experience and genuine passion for animals. With years of caring for my neighbors' beloved pets, I've honed specialized skills in training puppies and providing gentle care for senior dogs. From daily walks around the neighborhood to attentive dog sitting for various furry friends, I prioritize safety, comfort, and tailored attention for each dog. Pet care fits perfectly into my daily and weekly routine, as I prioritize the well-being of furry companions. Whether it's early morning walks before work, midday check-ins during lunch breaks, or evening play sessions, I ensure that every pet receives the attention and care they deserve. During check-ins and dog walks at my clients' homes, I prioritize the comfort and well-being of their pets. I adhere closely to any specific instructions provided by the owner regarding feeding schedules, medication administration, and exercise routines. I ensure that each pet receives personalized attention, whether it's engaging in playtime, administering belly rubs, or simply providing companionship.
About: I am super flexible and comfortable with dog care. I currently have an energetic young german shepherd so I understand the importance of dogs getting lots of exercise so that they can relax throughout the day. The main breeds I have experience with are Labs/Retrievers, German Shepherds, Beagles, Mixed Breed herding dogs, and Horses! I understand when dogs want to play and when they need their own space to relax. I currently have a german shepherd that I exercise twice a day either by walking, hiking, fetching or chasing hose water. Typically, I do one of these activities in the morning and one in the evening. My dog is free fed throughout the day, but I am familiar with dogs that prefer the routine of scheduled feeding or don't have self control, so I am comfortable following the routine that the dog is used to. I have a great walkable neighborhood, but I am very familiar with great places to walk and hike with dogs throughout the city. I am a grad student with lots of flexibility so my schedule is different from week to week, during the summer I will have lots of time each day to spend with your pup, but during the year I will provide excersize but less one-on-one time. I have a fenced in yard and a 1900 square foot home with hard surfaced floors. I don't allow my dogs on furniture, but if your dog is used to it, that is not currently a concern. My fences are sturdy and chain link, and about four feet tall. I prefer dogs that are crate trained overnight, and am happy to provide my own crates for them to sleep in. If they are not, I would happy to set up a play pen environment for them to be in!

Otherwise, I allow the animals in the house to nap, roam, and play wherever they'd like. My dogs are pretty social, they get along well with others and enjoy the dog park. My cats are also used to being around dogs and are pretty relaxed about it.

“I high recommend Rachel, she was outstanding! She provided great photos and updates while we were out of town and adjusted the walk schedule based on the summer temperatures and our dog ability to walk long distances. She agreed to do a pre-visit to ensure all communication was clear. Her communication was quick and responsive to me each step along the way. We will definitely book her again. Thanks Rachel!!!”

“Jamie is absolutely wonderful! Hazel loves all the attention she gets when she stays with Jamie and her family. And we love all the photos Jamie thoughtfully sends to us of Hazel chasing after tennis balls in their backyard!”
