About: I have always had dogs throughout my life and have always loved the companionship dogs provide. I have several years of dog sitting experience, from high energy dogs like border collies to older dogs that have more specific medical needs. I fostered dogs throughout college as well. I have raised a couple puppies and am familiar with establishing basic training for young dogs. I’m currently working full-time, so my mornings, afternoons and weekends are available for boarding or dog sitting. I am dedicated to working with you to meet your needs! I have a fenced yard and a sweet dog who loves to play! We have the space to accommodate most needs both inside the house and outside. About: I have over three years experience of volunteering at a pet clinic, as well as owning everything from a Standard poodle to tea cup Chihuahua! About: As someone who has had pets in the home for as long as I can remember, I know it is important for them to be in a loving, patient, and attentive environment and I thrive in providing environments that are such! I work from home and I’m a SAHM, so pet care fits naturally into my daily routine. During the school year, I work full-time as a preschool teacher in an early learning center near my home. I will be able to spend all afternoon and night with your furry loved one as soon as I get home from work. There will be plenty of potty breaks during the day because my mom will be able to handle it...she is responsible for giving potty breaks to my furry babies so I know she will do a great job. During the summer, I will be available to give love and attention all day! During potty breaks and times spent outside in the back yard, there will be someone visiting with them. This may be my mom during the day or myself during the afternoons and nights. We will have food offered to them three times a day, unless you prefer another option. I chose to become a sitter because I love visiting with my furry family members and understand what it is like when I need to travel out of town. I worry and I stress about what my babies are going through when I am not there. I would love to be that factor in your life that calms that worry while you are out of town!

You will not have to worry about your pet with me I will make sure to send you as many updates you want and by the end of the stay your fur baby will have a new best friend (: I’m currently helping clean houses during the week but I still have plenty of free time to help you with your fur baby, I will be able to rearrange my schedule as needed. I will make sure your fur baby has food and water, I go by the book when given instructions on how you want your fur baby taken care of, I don’t mind crating them but if you don’t crate them I am absolutely be okay with them cuddling up to me while we watch tv. I can do check ins so that way I can spend 30 minutes to an hour making sure your fur baby goes on a walk and has exercise.

About: Growing up I had experience with a lot of types of animals, from cats, dogs, sheep, pigs, cows and horses. In my adult life, I have had a lab mix and have had 4 boxers (3 currently still in the home) and a siamese mixed cat. I learned a lot about dog behavior when I got my first boxer through training, and feel like that has helped me with other dogs too. Two of my current boxers are seniors and they take meds so I am familiar with those types of things and my other one is 8 months old so I am currently also in the puppy phases as well. I do have a full-time job. Evenings and weekends are the best time for me on some days. I often work from home later in the week so I can be flexible those days. I am definitely open to chatting about options. I will keep my calendar up to date based on my availability. If your pups are coming to my house, I have a fenced in yard. I do have a pool, but I go outside with all pups for safety reasons. If your dog loves to swim let me know! I also have a quiet neighborhood for a nice leashed walk. I do have a lot of stairs so if you have a senior dog that has mobility issues my house might not be the best option. If they go out on a leash this would be less of an issue b/c I can take them for a walk out front. I crate my puppy when I am gone, and can crate your dog when/if you would like me too. I would like any special instructions about medications/food/behavior etc that are specific to your pets. I would need any specific instructions for your in home stays with your pets.

“Barrie was great with our son, Shapley! She did a great job of communicating and sending pictures to make us feel extra comfortable while being away from him. You can tell she really cares about these puppies because she even let Shapley sleep in the bed with her. We would definitely recommend!”

“Danielle is the absolute best, and I’ll hear nothing to the contrary. This was my first time using Rover, and the sitter I originally booked cancelled on me morning of, but Danielle accepted our last minute request on a holiday weekend. I have an old dog with arthritis and medication who can be a picky eater at times, but that was no issue for Danielle. She not only made me feel at ease with constant updates and pictures, but she exercised and socialized him, and he may like her more than me now. My only regrets with this review are that everyone else will book her now and she’ll be unavailable next time we need boarding for a weekend”
About: I’ve taken care of dogs since I was a child! From growing up with them, to helping friends and family, to fostering for shelters and rescues! I work full time, but do have allotted time to run home to let pets out/feed! My boyfriend is also a huge help to filling any gaps! I ensure all pets receive the best care! From food choice (if not provided), to toys, to play time w/ my pups (if wanted)! I provide a safe but fun environment!
