About: I have over three years experience of volunteering at a pet clinic, as well as owning everything from a Standard poodle to tea cup Chihuahua! About: Hi! I’m a biology major at Jeff State Community College that is obsessed with animals of all kinds. I’ve been surrounded by dogs since the day I was born and became the main caregiver for them when I was about 12. From shy, skittish, and very nervous/anxious dogs with hyper personalities to laid back, not a care in the world, couch potato dogs, no job is too big or small for me and no pup is too difficult. I believe that every dog deserves detailed care that is specifically created to fit their needs. I'm off for the summer and am currently available on all days except Fridays before 12:00 pm. My availability will shift slightly in the fall but I’m more than willing to work with you to make sure your pup still gets the care they need. I strive to create a safe and warm environment for every pup I meet! About: I have always had multiple dogs and cats as family members throughout my life. My parents raised me to be surrounded by animals and as an adult now, my life has not changed. I love cats and dogs equally and all of mine get along with each other. They are my family. Jake is a Blue Heeler mix and is very social and compassionate to others. Honey is a Husky mix and still has that playful personality just like a puppy. She is always ready to play! During the school year, I work full-time as a preschool teacher in an early learning center near my home. I will be able to spend all afternoon and night with your furry loved one as soon as I get home from work. There will be plenty of potty breaks during the day because my mom will be able to handle it...she is responsible for giving potty breaks to my furry babies so I know she will do a great job. During the summer, I will be available to give love and attention all day! During potty breaks and times spent outside in the back yard, there will be someone visiting with them. This may be my mom during the day or myself during the afternoons and nights. We will have food offered to them three times a day, unless you prefer another option. I chose to become a sitter because I love visiting with my furry family members and understand what it is like when I need to travel out of town. I worry and I stress about what my babies are going through when I am not there. I would love to be that factor in your life that calms that worry while you are out of town!

About: I have owned dogs ever since I was a little kid. I currently have 3 dogs who are all great dogs. I am currently a teacher but like hanging out with dogs in my spare time. About: I have been around dogs all my life, and I’m very comfortable with any type of dog. I personally have had more experience with large dogs. With my dog and with friend’s dogs, I’ve been able to nail clip, hair trim, and bathe them (in addition to feeding and walking them, of course). I work from home (wfh) on Wednesdays and Fridays definitely, but sometimes there are additional days that I wfh. On those days, I have every opportunity to take your baby outside, go for a walk, or just play. If I’m in town on the weekends, I don’t mind taking your baby with me to run errands if you approve. I don’t have a fenced in yard yet, but I’m fully capable of keeping your fur baby safe and happy (and on a leash outside if necessary). We have plenty of room so there’s space to run around. Depending on the personality of your pet, I don’t mind allowing him or her on the furniture.

Friends and family have entrusted me to wash, feed, walk, watch, and transport their animals and I am excited to expand my skills here on this app! I am currently working a part time job, so I will have plenty of time to watch your sweet pups! I am busiest on Wednesday’s and Sunday’s, but am still available both days with less availability. I work mornings so I am more than available every night/early mornings if needed! I am not able to host dogs in my own home, but am more than happy to spend quality time with your dog in the pleasure and convenience of yours! I love to be outside and love to go on walks, and I am sure your pup is too! I am more than skilled to work with dogs who are prone to getting loose/breaking out of their kennel and am always up for a new learning challenge!
About: Growing up I had experience with a lot of types of animals, from cats, dogs, sheep, pigs, cows and horses. In my adult life, I have had a lab mix and have had 4 boxers (3 currently still in the home) and a siamese mixed cat. I learned a lot about dog behavior when I got my first boxer through training, and feel like that has helped me with other dogs too. Two of my current boxers are seniors and they take meds so I am familiar with those types of things and my other one is 8 months old so I am currently also in the puppy phases as well. I do have a full-time job. Evenings and weekends are the best time for me on some days. I often work from home later in the week so I can be flexible those days. I am definitely open to chatting about options. I will keep my calendar up to date based on my availability. If your pups are coming to my house, I have a fenced in yard. I do have a pool, but I go outside with all pups for safety reasons. If your dog loves to swim let me know! I also have a quiet neighborhood for a nice leashed walk. I do have a lot of stairs so if you have a senior dog that has mobility issues my house might not be the best option. If they go out on a leash this would be less of an issue b/c I can take them for a walk out front. I crate my puppy when I am gone, and can crate your dog when/if you would like me too. I would like any special instructions about medications/food/behavior etc that are specific to your pets. I would need any specific instructions for your in home stays with your pets.

“If I could leave 10 out of 5 stars I would! Amanda was wonderful and we could not have asked for a better experience. Besides being kind, gentle, and thoughtful, she was very caring and gave our dog lots of attention. We had multiple pictures and videos, which were so nice. She took Oliver on walks every day, not down the street, but to a park every day. She also fed him home cooked chicken (with my approval) to try to get him to eat (picky eater!). I know Oliver had a great time and it was so nice not worrying about our little boy! We will definitely use her again! Thank you Amanda!”

“I booked my two cats for boarding over six nights. My Mamacat is 17+ years old. Patch is 11+, diabetic and requires a daily insulin injections. They are 100% indoor cats. Mamacat is terribly nervous with new people, Patch not so much, but cautious. But I think I was more nervous for my babies, than any of us. I was so pleased with the reality of their stay. Due to all their existing issues, Teri housed them in a more isolated area of her home, by her master bedroom. So their contact was basically limited to Teri and her husband. Photos and updates came daily showing evidence of my kitties' progressive relaxation and adjustment. My heart was breathing a sigh of relief. One note. Due to the need of a more isolated & protected area, there was cigarette smoking in the farthest area where they were housed. For me this wasn't an issue at all. I only mention it since, in a similarly limiting need as mine, it might make a difference in decisions. It protected my "nervous nellies"; they were at ease, and I was pleased. In fact, I've already made a second booking!! I'm so grateful to have found Teri for watching my somewhat special needs furry family members. P.S. I saw a beautiful, healthy horse in the adjacent pasture. Then her personal cat came walking across the yard. As a cat lover I'm compelled to attempt petting all that I see. He was friendly, healthy and obviously happy. My nervousness immediately lowered a couple notches. I absolutely recommend Teri to look after your furbearing loved ones.”
