About: I have taken care of dogs for the past 5 years, including a chihuahua of my own and my family’s dogs. I have experience raising puppies and caring for senior dogs as well. Even though every dog is different, I am able to provide adequate care and attention to every fur baby that I have the privilege of looking after. My dad is allergic to dogs and cats, so growing up I didn’t get to have any of my own (besides the occasional fish). But anytime a friend or family member needed someone to take care of their pet, I would gladly do it. I am currently available on weekdays at any time and most weekends. I can make time to check on your pup or kitten whenever we you need me to! During home visits and/or walks, I will make sure your pet has a well-loved visit including some cuddles and belly-rubs, play time, taken outside to potty, and/or at least a 10 minute walk (unless requested longer). I can also feed your dog if requested. During the hotter months (85 degrees and up) I would prefer to not walk your dog longer than 20mins during the hours of 11am - 5pm, due to keeping your pups best interest at heart (burnt paws, overheating, etc.) but will gladly play with them outside in a backyard/dog area for longer!

“If I could leave 10 out of 5 stars I would! Amanda was wonderful and we could not have asked for a better experience. Besides being kind, gentle, and thoughtful, she was very caring and gave our dog lots of attention. We had multiple pictures and videos, which were so nice. She took Oliver on walks every day, not down the street, but to a park every day. She also fed him home cooked chicken (with my approval) to try to get him to eat (picky eater!). I know Oliver had a great time and it was so nice not worrying about our little boy! We will definitely use her again! Thank you Amanda!”

“My dogs had the BEST time with Lawden! I have two large Goldendoodles. One is old with cancer and the other is a wild puppy, but she took great care of both of them.
