About: I would love to walk/ hike with your pet, care for it at your home, or drop in to let them out. I have always loved animals ever since I was little. My first job was a pet sitting service, I was frequently asked to watch neighbors dogs, cats, bunnies, fish, etc. My friends often rely on me to take care of their animals while out of town and I have experience with older dogs as well as puppies. My dog passed away earlier this year and I won't be ready for anther dog anytime soon, but I would love to share love with your animals. I work seasonally and am currently off for my winter season. About: I’ve had dogs my whole life, my mom and grandmother started the humane society in my hometown so we have always taken care of animals. I will take care of your dog like it was my own. I love all animals but especially dogs! I currently work from home so I am available to watch your dog during the day or overnight boarding. I can do drop ins or walks after 4pm. About: Growing up I was the girl on the street who preferred petsitting to babysitting, and as soon I could in my 20s, I adopted the sickest oldest cats in the facilities and loved them until their deaths. In my 30s I’ve mixed it up and have two big rescue dogs, and we’ve been at the dog park nearly every day for 6 years now. Wow they grow fast! I have 8 years of experience caring for pets of my friends and families…I’m open to all types of care weather it’s just a walk, need me to let them out, keep them at my place or I stay at yours! I work at UAB Hospital 3 days a week, even on days I work I can let them out before after and on my hour break! I will make any accommodations necessary for you and your animals! I live right by railroad park, so that area would be perfect for any animal to be walked in! I like by myself with no pets in my apartment.

Barrie often has other dogs but stays attentive to them and ensures everyone is getting along. She keeps us updated with pictures. Would suggest her for overnight boarding to anyone with a pup.”
“Great communication and was amazing with my dogs! My husky is usually very stubborn and doesn’t eat much when I’m not around, but he did this time. It was also my puppy’s first time away from me and it went so well. I also loved that there was a huge backyard for my boys to run around in, so they were nice and tired as I unpacked from my trip. Would definitely recommend and rebook!”

She was perfect for us and our pet babies and from the very beginning of the process she was great. She was quick to respond to my initial message and she was informative and accommodating. She welcomed our babies into her home and sent us pictures and texts to let us know they were doing well which was so nice. She even went above and beyond when my flight home was going to make me late for our pickup time and was so helpful and accommodating!
