About: I can't remember a time in my life I did not have my own pets. I have taken care of my own pets all of my life and am a lifelong animal caregiver. I have worked in a pet store as well as in veterinary offices when I used to live back in Indiana so I have learned a lot about caring for animals. If you book with me I will treat your pet as though they were my own so you can rest easy knowing they are loved and taken care of! I only work part time, so I have a very flexible schedule. I will have plenty of time to spend time with your pet! I am not typically away from home for very long, so I will be able to regularly come to check on your pet. I have a large fenced in yard and a dog door that my two dogs go in and out of freely. I will walk or run with your dog daily. She is typically nice with other dogs but can be very skittish, so they would need to be introduced prior to being watched. My 2 cats and 2 rabbits also live in the home, but the layout of the house allows them to stay in the upstairs portion of the house and it is blocked off to allow them to be separated. Both breeds are strong willed and have high energy. I work from home and so have a lot of freedom to break away to take care of dogs. Dogs and children are the two things I really love in this world and I feel that I know how to care for them as they are my own. I a pretty free after 12 during the weekdays and on the weekend I am very free to do what ever needs to be done. I have a lot of time to spare and spend with dogs rather that be a nice long walk like I do with my dog everyday or just playing with for a while. I live in an apartment with my own dog but I have plenty of space for them to play and keep each other company. Pets need routines just as much as humans do for a sense of calm and safety. To continue to keep your (our) fur baby safe I will keep trash cans covered or inside a latched cabinet. Move all chemicals to high shelves or behind secure doors. Keep cords, chargers, and other potentially harmful items out of reach.
About: I have worked with various breeds from a Newfoundland to a Pomeranian. My family owns two dogs that have had two litters of puppies so I have experience with dogs from new born to seniors. I also have a two furbabies of my own. I’m highly motivated and energetic, I don’t mind taking high energy dogs for long walks/ runs or just snuggling up and comforting dogs with separation anxiety. I don’t mind taking your dog on field trips, weather it’s to the lake or the dog park or just playing inside on rainy days! I love all breeds of dogs even ones considered “bully breeds” those are the sweetest in my opinion. For dog boarding if you have your dogs trained a certain way (staying off furniture) I can certainly enforce that while they are at my house. I can also work with any other needs like that if it is needed. Such as if your dogs do not get along with other dogs I can always put mine up in their room. The dogs will always meet in a neutral area before brought in the house to make sure they get along! I am currently attending school online so my schedule is open and very flexible! Whether your dog just needs a walk midday, someone to feed them while you’re at work, or someone to come stay with them/ to come stay with me and my pup because they aren’t good alone at home! I am currently in an house it does not have a fenced in backyard but i do have a big backyard and tie outs. I also have 2 furbabies to keep your pup comapany! If your dog is reactive i will make sure to keep a close eye on our surroundings while on walks!
About: I would love to walk/ hike with your pet, care for it at your home, or drop in to let them out. I have always loved animals ever since I was little. My first job was a pet sitting service, I was frequently asked to watch neighbors dogs, cats, bunnies, fish, etc. My friends often rely on me to take care of their animals while out of town and I have experience with older dogs as well as puppies. My dog passed away earlier this year and I won't be ready for anther dog anytime soon, but I would love to share love with your animals. I work seasonally and am currently off for my winter season. I would love to spend time with your animals either at your home or on walks/hikes! I can not watch pets in my own home but in my client's home I make sure to follow their rules and ask the important questions up front. Besides being kind, gentle, and thoughtful, she was very caring and gave our dog lots of attention. We had multiple pictures and videos, which were so nice. She took Oliver on walks every day, not down the street, but to a park every day. She also fed him home cooked chicken (with my approval) to try to get him to eat (picky eater!).
