About: Hello there and welcome to my Rover site! Thanks for taking a look and I'm hoping to be able to be your animal's friend during the time you're away. I have been with dogs since I was a baby as well as taking care of them since I was 12, when I got my own first German Shepherd. Been there for many animals from puppies to senior and everywhere in between. Many friends, family members and neighbors have come to me to watch their babies while gone, to check in on them or take them on walks. I have dealt with most breeds and understand basic needs, medical concerns and safety of everyone. I'm a retired veteran from the US Army and a full time stay at home mom. My day to day is getting kids ready for school, drop off, pick up and homework time. In between all that, Im doing chores or watching some episodes of my favorite shows, so I will have plenty of time to be with your pet. My kids are 5 and 7, so most of the day they are at school. When they are home they help out with the animals and give them even more attention and love. John, my husband, works full time. With our schedule, if there is ever a time I need to step out, he is always here to help. I always prefer a meet and greet before we set up anything so the animal can acknowledge who I am or where they will be staying, even when doing drop ins. This makes the transition alot easier on both sides. We stick to one client at a time to keep the house easier to maintain and also for the safety of your pet and mine, as well as the family. We have a large fenced in yard to keep your pet safe but have plenty of room to run and play. We also have a crate for crate training or sleeping if you so prefer. We allow pets on the furniture unless you say otherwise. We will always follow by the owner's rules and ways of doing things in our home.
About: Growing up my dad and mom allowed my sisters and I to have many animals for our family. As an adult now having my own children I want that same thing for them. About: I have taken care of a plethora of animals from childhood to adulthood. I have worked with many shelters doing volunteer work. I have my own pets who i take great care of as well. I currently work full time. During the week I have availability for boarding. For Drop ins & walks my availability is limited to the weekends currently but that may change soon. Generally for boarding I prefer drop offs be the night prior so that I have ample time to prep my home for our guest. I have a fenced in backyard and a senior dog. I give multiple bathroom breaks outside as well as scheduled feeding times. I also give walks daily.

About: Hello! My name is Giovanna, and I’d love to share a little about myself. Growing up, I was never allowed to have pets (other than a goldfish). My dad would take me to the pet store, and I would beg for even a hamster, but he never budged. So naturally, whenever I visited friends or went to gatherings, I was always the one playing with and loving on the pets. I jumped at every opportunity to help care for my friends’ and family’s animals. When I finally moved out on my own, I adopted my very first pet, my cat, Winnie, within 10 days. Not long after, I decided Winnie needed a friend, so I adopted my second cat, Apache. Later, when I moved in with my now husband, I finally convinced him to get a dog, something I had wanted my entire life. After lots of research, I chose a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, and that’s how we welcomed Emmett into our family. One of my favorite hobbies is training Emmett, working on obedience, tricks, and even some agility. I love the moment when something finally “clicks” for him (it’s like finally understanding a math problem!). Growing up, people would always say their pets were family, and I didn’t fully understand that until I had my own. Now, I don’t even see them as pets, they are my children. He works at Cool Vapors M,W,Sat 10-7.** I’ve been taking care of dogs and cats for about six years now for family and friends. Each animal I care for I bond with like they are my own! I am able to groom, feed, and walk as well as provide small cleaning services like vacuuming/mopping if requested. It is my goal to make each client feel comfortable and secure that their beloved fur baby is in good hands! As of right now I am in college for Avionics Technology! This is a two year degree that I go for on the Ozark campus. My classes are Monday-Thursday from 7am-2pm leaving the rest of the day open as well as Friday, Saturday and Sunday. On some days I do not stay until 2 pm, occasionally we are split in groups and alternate lab days and I will get out at 10 am. Safety is always number one priority for your animals, my animals, and myself. You can ensure that your furry companions will be safe and loved while you’re away and never put into harms way.
About: I all dogs, large and small! I have previous experience with walking dogs and taking care of dogs. . I enjoy volunteering at the animal shelter to walk the dogs boarding there. I have grown up with dogs in my household and have lived around many dogs my entire life. I will treat your pet how I would expect mine to be treate. You will not have to worry when you're away because they will be in the best of hands. I’m in Elgin but, I am willing to make a short drive to fulfill your pets needs. Most times if I bring my little one with me. My schedule is very flexible and I am easily able to take pets on walks or do multiple drop ins a day! About: I’ve taken care of all types of animals for as long as I can remember. I’ve grown up with a small dog since I was eight and have had my own cat for almost 4 years now. We just got a kitten who is 3 months old! I have pet sit hamsters, big dogs, small dogs, and I’ve even had pet hermit crabs and fish! I also have experience in senior care. I have been looking for something to do on the side of teaching elementary school. Because my neighbors and friends have always asked me to pet sit, I figured this would be perfect! Getting to meet new animals and spend time with different ones during the hours of the when I do not have school is so fun and rewarding! I care deeply about the well being of animals as they depend on their owner so much! I have crated dogs and cats if that is their safe space or if that is what their owner chooses. I have also dealt with animals that walk freely in the home. Whatever is most comfortable for you and your furry friend is what I will stick to!
About: I’ve taken care of many pets of family and friends over the years. I LOVE playing with high energy dogs and also don’t mind to cuddle with the sweet and quiet. I am great company for all dogs with any personality. I am nearly obsessed with taking pictures of dogs (my camera roll is flooded with them). I can take awesome pictures of your pet and send them to you while we are on our adventure! I live on Fort Rucker and I work from home, so I would prefer to watch your pet at my house if possible! I am very active so they will get good walks/attention before business hours and during lunch. 🙂 I live on Fort Rucker and prefer to bring your pet to my house where possible for multi-night visits. I have no other pets at the moment!

About: I have worked around many different dogs from all walks of life. I am a certified pet stylist, that specializes in mildly aggressive dogs. I can handle many dogs at once. I also have went through basic dog training and have trained many dogs. I have 2 diva huskies, one is off leash trained and the other does tricks! I enjoy letting dogs know that they are loved and spoiled! I have my own means or transportation that is pet friendly! I am also a military spouse with access to on post but live off post!
