“Kristi is phenomenal! She took my babies in last minute. She gave them their own huge room with a ginormous cat tree. They were extremely comfortable and had no stress whatsoever. She cared for them as I would, I have no doubt they were comfortable in their home away from home. I never worried about their food or their environment. I would most certainly recommend her and use her again a million times over. Thank you for everything Kristi!!!”

“I left my fur baby with Christopher and Sore for the weekend and after making my reservation, I realized that I had forgotten about my flight being at the Atlanta airport and the hour difference, so needless to say I had move my drop off time up.They were completely accommodating. Once meeting Sore I felt completely at ease, leaving cowboy with them.. I received updates, with pictures every day to see my boy was doing fine. I definitely would rely on their service again in the future..”

“Madison was absolutely AMAZING with Harley. He was loved, well cared for and extremely happy with her and her family. Madison took great care to keep me posted on how Harley was doing. The daily pictures, videos and contact was excellent and gave me great peace while I was on a two-week trip without him. I highly recommend Madison, and she will be seeing Harley again when I am not able to take him with me. What joy to have found her!”

I was struggling trying to find somewhere to keep my big baby that wouldn’t keep him in a crate all day until someone could come get him out to play with him! Ronda made sure I was comfortable as well as Griffey with his stay with her. I can’t wait to use her again for my baby cause I know he enjoyed himself there with her!! “We had a wonderful experience boarding our dogs here. She was very thoughtful in the meet and greet experience making sure her and our dogs were comfortable, didn't board too many at a time in her home, and was communicative. We appreciated having somewhere to leave them over the holidays where we knew they would get snuggles and attention, and even with our old fella having a little health issue, she was very attentive and kind about it. We felt comfortable leaving Luna and Dax, and they would love to stay with Rebecca again!”

About: If you’re looking for someone who will love your dog like their own and bring a level of professionalism and medical awareness most sitters simply don’t have, I’m your person. As a registered nurse, I’m trained to recognize subtle changes in behavior, respond calmly in emergencies, and confidently administer medications or follow detailed care plans. I’m also a proud dog mom to two golden retrievers, so I understand firsthand the energy, affection, and attention dogs need to truly thrive—not just get by. I’ve cared for a wide range of breeds with different temperaments and needs, and I helped foster six puppies in high school, which sparked my lifelong passion for animal care. Your dog won’t just be supervised—they’ll be genuinely cared for, understood, and treated like family in a safe, loving environment you can feel completely confident about. Pet care fits naturally into my weekly routine because as a nurse, I only work three days a week, which gives me four full days dedicated to being home and fully present. On my days off, I have complete flexibility for walks, drop-ins, boarding, playtime, and sticking closely to your dog’s normal routine. Even on the days I do work, my schedule is predictable, allowing me to plan dependable care and maintain consistency. Nursing has made me highly organized and intentional with my time, so pet care isn’t something I squeeze in — it’s something I thoughtfully plan for. Your pet would receive focused, reliable attention from someone whose schedule truly allows for it. I tailor my care to each pet’s personality, routine, and needs, whether they’re staying in my home or I’m caring for them in theirs. In my home, pets are treated like part of the family. They receive structured playtime, regular potty breaks, enrichment activities, and plenty of affection throughout the day. I’m mindful of maintaining their normal feeding schedules, exercise routines, and any medical needs, and as a nurse, I’m comfortable administering medications and monitoring for any changes in behavior or health. Safety is always a priority, and I create a calm, supervised environment where dogs can feel secure and comfortable. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I focus on keeping their routine as consistent as possible to reduce stress. I follow all instructions closely, whether that includes specific feeding guidelines, medications, crate routines, or preferred walking routes. I spend quality time with them beyond the basics—playing, cuddling, and providing companionship—so they don’t just feel “checked on,” but genuinely cared for. I also provide regular updates and photos so owners can feel confident and connected while they’re away.

About: I have had dogs all my life and experienced with young and senior dogs as well and medication management if needed and spoil them rotten in my care 😬 They will get much love and attention as I am a stay home pet mom myself. I am a stay home wife who does not work and love animals so why not give a family a piece of mind that their pet is being loved on and spoiled while they are enjoying vacation or what ever the circumstances may be. My dogs are allowed on the furniture and on the bed and I am not a big fan of crates but will use if owner requests I live in a ranch home so no steps . It is just me and my husband along with my min pin who loves other dogs and a hermit cat who really stays to herself Our home is very clean and maintained . My dog is spoiled more than I wish to admit but wouldn't have it any other way . Plenty of dog treats and toys at my home Your pet can do as they do in my home as they do in there own home ❤️
About: My Boarding Policies: I want every dog to feel safe, loved, and comfortable while they’re with me, so these guidelines help keep things running smoothly for everyone. 💬 Meet & Greet I always do a quick meet & greet for new clients so I can get to know your pup’s personality and make sure we’re a great fit! I will need an emergency contact and vet reference. (Last minute bookings happen, I am willing to work around this for this purpose, just reach out to me) 💉 Health & Vaccinations For everyone’s safety, all dogs should be up to date on rabies, DHPP, and Bordetella. Please also make sure your pup is free of fleas/ticks and not showing signs of illness. ⏰ Drop-Off & Pick-Up I’m flexible, but I try to keep drop-offs and pick-ups within agreed time windows so the day stays smooth and predictable for the dogs. If you’re running late, no worries — just let me know! If at any point I can not get ahold of you, this will result in me reaching out to Rover Support or possibly Animal Control (depending on the situation) 🍽️ Food, Treats & Supplies Please bring enough food for the whole stay, plus any medication with simple instructions. If anything unexpected comes up, I’ll let you know right away. 🐾 Behavior & Comfort I welcome all sorts of personalities! I just ask that pups are: Friendly with people and other dogs Able to be crated or safely separated if needed Not showing aggression If your dog has any quirks (anxiety, chewing, reactivity, etc.), please share — it helps me give them the best care. 🩺 Safety First If a true emergency happens, I’ll contact you immediately and may take your dog to the vet if needed. Owners are responsible for any vet costs. 📸 Updates I love sending photos! Expect at least one update per day — or more if you’d like. Just tell me your preference. 📅 Cancellations & Holidays I follow Rover’s cancellation policy and keep things fair, but holiday bookings may fill up fast, so early scheduling helps! I loved animals for as long as I can remember, and pets have always been a big part of my life. I’ve cared for dogs and cats of all sizes, personalities, and ages — from bouncy puppies and curious kittens to senior pets who just need a little extra love and patience. When your pet is with me, I’ll treat them like family. I enjoy long walks, playtime in the yard, and plenty of snuggles on the couch. I’m also happy to follow your pet’s routine so they feel safe and comfortable while you’re away. Whether they’re energetic and playful or calm and cuddly, I’ll make sure they get the love and attention they deserve. I provide full-time dog care, including doggy daycare, boarding, drop-ins, and walks. When doing Drop ins or walks, if you are outside of a 5 mile radius, a small fee will have to be added for the distance traveled. Each day starts with morning walks and potty breaks, followed by supervised playtime and socialization. Midday is quiet time for rest and meals, with afternoon walks, and play. Evenings include dinner, potty breaks, and calm activities to help dogs wind down. Overnight, I monitor boarding dogs to ensure they’re safe and comfortable. Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. I provide a clean, secure, and loving environment where your furry friend can feel at home. All interactions are supervised, and I make sure playtime is safe and stress-free. I follow any specific instructions you provide for feeding, medications, or routines to ensure your pet’s well-being. You’ll receive updates, photos, and messages so you can see how your pet is doing in real-time. My home is pet-friendly, calm, and structured, offering plenty of space for exercise, rest, and fun. I strive to create a positive experience that leaves your pet happy, healthy, and eager to come back.

“Poppy is special, not just to me, but to everyone she meets so traveling with her can be a challenge. I always want to make sure she is cared for in a loving, safe, and comfortable environment. After a last-minute confirmation that I needed to be in Talladega for three days, I was extremely lucky to find Cassandra and her husband. They took wonderful care of Poppy during the day while I worked, and I was still able to have her with me overnight, which made the whole trip so much easier. Cassandra was responsive, communicative, and sent great photo updates, which gave me total peace of mind. I highly recommend her for any pet-sitting needs in the Birmingham area especially if you’re traveling between Birmingham and Talladega. Great experience all around!”

I also maintain cleanliness by regularly cleaning pet areas and ensuring they feel relaxed and at ease in their surroundings. Whether at my home or a client's, I focus on their well-being and try to keep their routines as close to normal as possible.

“First of all, I have to say that the minute I met Brittaney I instantly liked her. I could tell that she was well-versed with dogs, and she was very much willing to listen to my instructions regarding my huskies. Secondly and honestly more importantly, my dogs loved Brittaney . They went crazy every time she came over and just told her all about what they needed to do on their walk that day. I will definitely be using her again. Anyone who decides to be a customer of Brittaney’s is going to be very lucky”

About: Friends, family and coworkers always pick me to take care of their pets! I can train basic commands and work with all ages! I have gone to clients homes for days to care for animals, done drop by care and drop by walks. I have also boarded dogs in my own home! I want the animals to feel as comfortable as possible and also keep their parents at ease about their well being! I have my own dog so pet care is in my daily routine morning and night feedings and at least one walk a day weather permitting. We also do daily training on commands she is completely off leash trained but training is essential for her to exercise mentally. I can do either, however I have a dog myself and I would not expect anyone to ever sacrifice their own dogs attention for mine. She is so sweet and loves meeting new friends. I will stick to a clients preferred schedule for their specific dog. For us we do two feedings a day morning (7am) and night (7pm). We do at least one walk a day weather permitting and if we are unable to go outside we play fetch indoors and do brain stimulating activities.

“We had a wonderful experience boarding our dogs here. She was very thoughtful in the meet and greet experience making sure her and our dogs were comfortable, didn't board too many at a time in her home, and was communicative.
