She really loved our cat, which meant a lot to us, and did a great job of sending notes and photos about how each visit went. She also left adorable "report cards" for each day of the stay, along with a little Polaroid picture. My dog passed away earlier this year and I won't be ready for anther dog anytime soon, but I would love to share love with your animals. I work seasonally and am currently off for my winter season. About: I’ve had dogs my whole life, my mom and grandmother started the humane society in my hometown so we have always taken care of animals. I will take care of your dog like it was my own. I love all animals but especially dogs! I currently work from home so I am available to watch your dog during the day or overnight boarding. I can do drop ins or walks after 4pm. My wife is a RN so she is home 4 days a week to help watch and play with your dog also! Someone will always be available to supervise your pet and can update you with pictures through their stay! I have a fenced in yard and a dog door so they have access to come in and out as they please. I also have a big energetic German shepherd lab mix that will play with your dog all day! We have daily frisbee tosses and fetch in the backyard.
About: I was trained how to train dogs at an early age after our first dog was trained by our breeder. Since then I trained 2 golden retrievers and an Australian Cattle dog (red heeler). Both breeds are strong willed and have high energy. I work from home and so have a lot of freedom to break away to take care of dogs. I enjoy taking care of dogs and sharing the knowledge from my experience of training and raising dogs. I have a large beautiful fenced yard, have multiple crates for use and live within walking distance of a dog park. I have kids that will make sure your dog gets lots of love while being boarded.

About: I love dog. I’m a very out doors person. I play in college so with me I love taking them on walks the dog park. I’m currently a student-athlete playing volleyball at Birmingham, and I’m home all day after practice and have a flexible schedule. I’m very disciplined with my time, so I can reliably care for pets early mornings, evenings, or throughout the day. Pet care fits naturally into my routine, and I’m doing this to help support my schooling, so I take it seriously. I provide a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for every pet. I have a spacious apartment and a pet washing station so I can always give your pet a bath and a pet-friendly home where dogs can relax, play, and feel at ease. I also have experience being around other dogs, so I’m attentive to their behavior and make sure everyone is supervised and comfortable.

“If I could leave 10 out of 5 stars I would! Amanda was wonderful and we could not have asked for a better experience. Besides being kind, gentle, and thoughtful, she was very caring and gave our dog lots of attention. We had multiple pictures and videos, which were so nice. She took Oliver on walks every day, not down the street, but to a park every day. She also fed him home cooked chicken (with my approval) to try to get him to eat (picky eater!). I know Oliver had a great time and it was so nice not worrying about our little boy! We will definitely use her again! Thank you Amanda!”

She was perfect for us and our pet babies and from the very beginning of the process she was great. She was quick to respond to my initial message and she was informative and accommodating. She welcomed our babies into her home and sent us pictures and texts to let us know they were doing well which was so nice. She even went above and beyond when my flight home was going to make me late for our pickup time and was so helpful and accommodating! We always have tears when we leave Toby for boarding, but Savannah made everyone feel so happy and comfortable as soon as we met her and dropped him off!
