About: Hello there and welcome to my Rover site! Thanks for taking a look and I'm hoping to be able to be your animal's friend during the time you're away. I have been with dogs since I was a baby as well as taking care of them since I was 12, when I got my own first German Shepherd. Been there for many animals from puppies to senior and everywhere in between. Many friends, family members and neighbors have come to me to watch their babies while gone, to check in on them or take them on walks. I have dealt with most breeds and understand basic needs, medical concerns and safety of everyone. I'm a retired veteran from the US Army and a full time stay at home mom. My day to day is getting kids ready for school, drop off, pick up and homework time. In between all that, Im doing chores or watching some episodes of my favorite shows, so I will have plenty of time to be with your pet. My kids are 5 and 7, so most of the day they are at school. When they are home they help out with the animals and give them even more attention and love. John, my husband, works full time. With our schedule, if there is ever a time I need to step out, he is always here to help. I always prefer a meet and greet before we set up anything so the animal can acknowledge who I am or where they will be staying, even when doing drop ins. This makes the transition alot easier on both sides. We stick to one client at a time to keep the house easier to maintain and also for the safety of your pet and mine, as well as the family. We have a large fenced in yard to keep your pet safe but have plenty of room to run and play. We also have a crate for crate training or sleeping if you so prefer. We allow pets on the furniture unless you say otherwise. We will always follow by the owner's rules and ways of doing things in our home.

My dad would take me to the pet store, and I would beg for even a hamster, but he never budged. After lots of research, I chose a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, and that’s how we welcomed Emmett into our family. I treat every pet as if they were my own and focus on making them feel safe, happy, and well cared for while you’re away. I’m currently in Army flight school, which means I’m away during the day but have dedicated time in the mornings and evenings to spend with your dog. I’m able to provide walks, feeding, playtime, and attention before and after my training day. If needed, I may also be able to step away during lunch for a quick walk or check-in. Safety and trust are always my top priorities. I don’t currently own any dogs, so your pet will get my full attention, and I carefully follow your instructions to keep routines consistent. While my home doesn’t have a fenced yard, all outdoor time is done on leash, so walks are always supervised and safe. I’m comfortable using a crate if needed and can easily crate your dog according to your preferences. I focus on creating a calm, secure environment where your dog feels comfortable, cared for, and at home.
About: I’ve grown up with both big and small dogs. Neighbors and family friends have always trusted me to dog or cat sit. I also wouldn’t mind taking your dog for a run when requested. Currently waiting to start school in November, so I am free everyday weekday roughly after 9AM when I get done working out for the day.
