About: Ever since I was 6 years old I’ve had an unusual connection with dogs. They are my world. For some reason they always seem to find me. I’m the person you see on the highway going after a lost dog. I’ve had 6 dogs at once before. I can’t seem to say no to dogs needing a home. It’s my happiness. You will not have to worry about your pet with me I will make sure to send you as many updates you want and by the end of the stay your fur baby will have a new best friend (: I’m currently helping clean houses during the week but I still have plenty of free time to help you with your fur baby, I will be able to rearrange my schedule as needed. I will make sure your fur baby has food and water, I go by the book when given instructions on how you want your fur baby taken care of, I don’t mind crating them but if you don’t crate them I am absolutely be okay with them cuddling up to me while we watch tv. I can do check ins so that way I can spend 30 minutes to an hour making sure your fur baby goes on a walk and has exercise.

After a last-minute confirmation that I needed to be in Talladega for three days, I was extremely lucky to find Cassandra and her husband. They took wonderful care of Poppy during the day while I worked, and I was still able to have her with me overnight, which made the whole trip so much easier. When I was little I wanted to be a veterinarian, so when I was old enough I would volunteer at shelters and at the local veterinary clinic every chance I got. Family members and friends of my family would have me watch their dog or cat every now and then and I'd always go above and beyond for them! “If I could leave 10 out of 5 stars I would! Amanda was wonderful and we could not have asked for a better experience. Besides being kind, gentle, and thoughtful, she was very caring and gave our dog lots of attention. We had multiple pictures and videos, which were so nice. She took Oliver on walks every day, not down the street, but to a park every day. She also fed him home cooked chicken (with my approval) to try to get him to eat (picky eater!). I know Oliver had a great time and it was so nice not worrying about our little boy! We will definitely use her again! Thank you Amanda!”

About: I’ve taken care of dogs since I was a child! From growing up with them, to helping friends and family, to fostering for shelters and rescues! I work full time, but do have allotted time to run home to let pets out/feed! My boyfriend is also a huge help to filling any gaps! I ensure all pets receive the best care! From food choice (if not provided), to toys, to play time w/ my pups (if wanted)! I provide a safe but fun environment!

About: I’ve taken care of dogs both full time and part time since I was around 14. I was the sole caregiver for my previous dog (American Staffy) for 4 years as well as pet sitting for family. I’m currently home from college and work from home, so I am able to give your pets plenty of attention and care. I’m also an active person who loves outside. I have a fenced in backyard as well as a very walkable neighborhood with ponds and trails. If needed, I also have a crate available.
