“Exceptional care! Great communication with pictures. I modified the reservation the night before and she was very accommodating. Levi had a wonderful time, I highly recommend.”

“She treated our animals like they were her own She was kind and sweet and took very good care of them. She shared pictures and stories with us while we were away. I will certainly trust her with my babies again.”

“Our fur-son had a great time with Jennifer! She sent us daily pics & updates on how he was doing! She even took him to the doggy park! We will be leaving him with her again if need someone to watch him.”

“Aislynn was absolutely amazing. She kept us updated on our puppy with pictures the entire trip. She included training, daily walks, and enrichment. This was my first time away from my puppy and she put me at ease. I will definitely rebook.”

“Second stay with Catherine and he loves it there! I love the peace of mind that he is well cared for while I am gone and get regular updates to keep me updated. Thanks again!”

“Bailey’s stay with Morgan was FABULOUS! I volunteer for Lost Dogs Illinois so I know firsthand how many dogs are lost when with a sitter. Morgan was super patient with my many questions and happily allowed a meet and greet in advance of Bailey’s stay so I could see her home and yard. When we arrived for Bailey’s stay, Mason and Morgan had it planned very carefully for a safe introduction to another dog staying with them and their dog, Tug. During her stay, Bailey enjoyed playing with Tug and the other pup visiting. Morgan sent me photo and video updates and was always super speedy in her responses to my texts. I could not be happier with Bailey’s stay with Morgan, Mason, and Tug. I’m sure she’ll be back with Morgan when we visit our Bama student again in the future.”

“I always loved using Jamie while in school at UA. Any time I had a last minute family trip where I couldn’t figure out flying my sweet pup with me, I could confidently leave my baby boy with her and her family! Extremely loving home, clean, and communicative. I had separation anxiety over not being with my pup for days (let’s be honest - hours lol) BUT I always smiled whenever I saw a text on what they were up to with some fun pics attached. I always knew he was in good hands!”

“Cassidy took wonderful care of our baby! We had boarded her before and she was miserable. From the pictures that Cassidy sent daily, Blue had a vacation too! I will absolutely be using Cassidy again! She was wonderful. Highly recommend”

“She was great. House was clean, doggie updates were adorable and pups came home happy and bathed. Be really specific on pick up and drop off times well in advance and this is a perfect sitter”

“Leanna was perfect! I am most definitely a crazy dog mom and she made me feel super comfortable about leaving my pup. She also sent me pictures randomly to show me what a good time thor was having and send a video when I was missing him and asked how he was. She was super sweet and worked with me for pick up and drop off times. I will definitely use Leanna again for any future bookings!”

“Audrey was amazing with my dog Mylo! She stayed with him the whole time and took him for a long walk. I could tell she really took great care of him , he was happy and relaxed when I got home. I’m very grateful for the care she gave to my baby, and I definitely recommend her! 🐶💖”

“Mallory and her family took great care of my dog, Dottie, over the holidays! I was a little anxious that Dottie would misbehave (she has only been with me a short time and this was her first time staying with a dog sitter). Mallory was great at communicating and great with handling my sweet pup! I was totally reassured that I made the right choice choosing her. I would definitely leave Dottie with her again. I have used a number of different Rover sitters, and Mallory is my favorite!”

“Katy was awesome with my senior girl, Marley! She’s patient, welcoming, and made my pupper feel at home at her place while I was transitioning to Tuscaloosa for a new job. She’s communicative and was a great help to me! Highly recommend if you’re looking for a pet sitter in the area!”

“Danielle was in every sense excellent. She was far more capable than myself of watching these guys and was so chilled out during their entire stay as if to say, “don’t worry, i’ve got it.” My guys, Robby and Zoe, would exceedingly recommend that you book her at once. Thank you.”

“Anna is always wonderful with my Nahla. This is my second time having Nahla board with her. She’s very accommodating and sends updates daily. I love that Nahla enjoys their fenced backyard!! She goes in happily every time seeing Anna!”

“Isabella is hands down the best pet sitter I’ve had the privilege of hiring. She was very flexible with my last minute needs, her communication is top tier, and If there was ever a problem (my fault) she was good at letting me know. “Jennifer and Erwin were AMAZING! She was lovely and communicated with me quickly and clearly. She took great care of my kitten. She even washed my kittens blanket!! Couldn’t have asked for a better sitter.”

About: Hi furbaby parents! 🐕❤️ Summer is here! 🥰Bring your baby for their "fur-cation" where the fun & relaxation is!😍🐶 Having to get a sitter, drop-in visit or walks scheduled for your baby can be a stressor- being away from your baby & finding your person. Well you have found your person here. I love furbabies & will take great care of your baby. 🐶♥️ To me they are our babies, & like us, they each have their own likes, dislikes, quirks & personalities. I have furkids myself & my house is setup with furbabies & safety in mind. 🥰 I have furbaby beds in several rooms, gates between doorways so in case someone wants to be alone, I can accommodate, or if your baby needs time to warm up to a new place, thats another reason to have gates, for them to meet & greet at their own pace, not rushed. I just don't like the idea of having to stay in kennels, like at the vet! Thats what brought me to Rover as a client, now a sitter myself. I have a playroom for furbaby friends with plenty of toys, beds & a fenced in backyard for supervised potty & play! On pretty days we spend as much time outside as we can. We also have elevated beds outside, 2 little pup-pools, large grassy area & covered backporch with ceiling fans, patio umbrella & also a water misting fan to beat the heat! Thats a real treat! (Pup cups too!)🥰 My babies love everyone, but I know not everyone else's pups love the same things. Its important for them all feel safe & comfortable. I have kennels if needed, which we rarely use, with a spare room if needed. So if one wants to nap quietly & another wants to run & play, its no problem at all. My senior pup is 10 & will play some but mostly likes to lounge & watch the others; my twins are almost 2 & will play off & on all day, so your baby will have a great time! *I can do boarding in my home, sitter service, stop by for drop-in visit & feed/water, potty & play, or stop by & take them for a walk. I can stop by for kitty care, but cant board Ms/Mr Kitty at my house, sorry. *Ater hours pickup/drop off is no problem. My furkids are neutered/ spayed, fully vaccinated & get monthly heartworm/hookwork flea/tick prevention 💊 Prevention & good health is very important to me, as I would hope yours is taken care of also. Your baby is in good hands here, & will have plenty of playtime & treats; OR if we just want to nap, we love that too! 😊 ✨️Message me & let me know what days/times you need. Lots of love to go around.🥰 ***FIRST TIME CLIENTS: Safety for all in important. Let's set up a quick meet & greet. That way, I can get better acquainted with your baby & you, and so your baby isn't meeting me as a stranger on our first day of stay, but I understand sometimes its not an option for whatever reason, & thats okay. We will be glad to have you! **We will meet in a Public/Safe place. Thanks & hope to see you & your babies soon! 🥰 I take care of furkids a little more "extra" than many furparents, I've been told! But to me that's a compliment! Bc being furbaby lover, I believe in real loving care, not just meeting basic needs. 🐕 🐈 🦮 COME STAY & PLAY!🥰🐶❤️ I work locally & have recent changes in my schedule which gives me more availability. I also have my own precious furbabies at home, so it's not a new task. I would manage the same way I do for my own. So let me know what you need & I will get you on my calendar! And Thank you for inquiring with me. And much thanks to my current Regulars & for all the wonderful comments & reviews! I appreciate you all so much & I'm always here, so book early, as I only keep a few babies at a time, for adequate, attentive care! I have a treated fenced in back yard for our Supervised play & potty & security cameras in & outside my home for safety. Update: Please ensure your furbabies are up to date on vaccines. Cameras on and within property for safety. *Misc info: I am a lifelong local to the area, and have a complete background attached to my profile & also have updated Government Clearance. So rest assured, your baby is safe with me. I love them, bc they are the epitome of unconditional love, & need to show that back to them all.
“Morgan was fantastic! We have a pup who has been dealing with some health issues, and we were nervous to leave her for the day, but Morgan made us feel very comfortable. She sent awesome updates, so we could enjoy our day and know our pup was doing just fine. Would definitely recommend her services!”

“Miss Tahlia is one of Rollo’s most favorite people on this whole planet! He’s safe in her care and he has so much fun! I have 100% trust in her, and I highly recommend her!”

About: I understand what it means to leave your dog in someone else's care. That’s why your furry friend won’t just be a guest—they’ll be treated like family, with personalized care and lots of love. I currently don’t have pets at home, which allows me to provide exclusive attention to the dogs I care for. My furry family is in Mexico, my home country, and since I travel frequently, I can’t have them with me. This has only strengthened my dedication to care for other people’s pets with love, respect, and responsibility. I mostly work with repeat clients throughout the year. This helps me truly get to know each dog—their routines, their likes and dislikes—and make them feel calm and at home. Even though I’m still learning English, I always find ways to communicate clearly—using tools or translation support when needed. I’m committed to making every family feel heard, safe, and confident. If you're looking for someone to care for your dog as if they were their own—with love, respect, and dedication—I'm here to help! 💕 Pet care fits perfectly into my routine because I am passionate about their well-being. I plan my days flexibly to meet their needs, ensuring they get plenty of playtime, exercise, and companionship. Additionally, I organize my schedule to provide them with a safe and comfortable environment. I make sure each pet feels safe, comfortable, and well cared for according to their individual needs. In my clients' homes, I follow their usual routines to minimize stress for the pet, ensuring they receive the attention and companionship they need. Additionally, I maintain constant communication with the owners to give them peace of mind while they are away.
About: Hello! I'm looking forward to spending some of my time caring for your pets while you're away! I am really inspired by Old Friends Senior Dog Sanctuary and one day I hope to open my own animal sanctuary, but Rover will have to do for now. I've always had at least one dog in my house growing up. Right now I have two dogs as well as cats in my home. I also have a fenced yard to offer supervised play time and potty breaks. I'd be more than happy to drop in and make sure your lil' kitty-kat is well fed, played with, and has a clean litter box OR even host them in my cat room (AKA a quiet bedroom reserved just for cats that my pups do not have access to). Special skills: house training, crate training, medication administration- liquid and capsule, walking multiple (big) dogs at the same time, supervised play and feeding, etc. **Full disclosure: I am not on Rover for this to be my source of income. I keep my rates low because I know how expensive it can be when looking for trusted animal care, especially when you have more than one animal in the home and need to be away for more than a night. I am just offering the quality of care I want given to my animals when I am away. Any questions? Let's talk! My schedule during the day is pretty flexible as I work from home full time. I am also free during the weekend. What kind of care are you looking for and what days do you have in mind? I do offer a fenced yard and calm, child-free day care and pet sitting for those with proof of vaccination. I live in a house with plenty of room to stretch out and get comfortable. I am also able to take your dogs on leashed walks on the river trail or around town. My schedule is pretty flexible, I work from home so I have lots of autonomy. I’m home most of the time so there’s constant supervision. I have a fenced yard and extra bedrooms to offer a quiet space if your pet prefers to be away from the pack. Otherwise, I allow the animals in the house to nap, roam, and play wherever they'd like. My dogs are pretty social, they get along well with others and enjoy the dog park. My cats are also used to being around dogs and are pretty relaxed about it.

“Alicia is so sweet! She was so good with my two pups. We used her for daycare and she sent me so many pics! She has a backyard which is great for our more energetic dog. Her dog and her kids were super friendly and gentle with our dogs. I could tell my babies were exhausted from when we got in the car.”

About: Every dog is treated like family and cared for in a quiet, low-stress (300 acre) farm environment designed around their comfort and routine. With over 15 years of experience, I specialize in small-scale, boutique boarding with a very limited number of dogs at a time, ensuring close attention, consistency, and a calm atmosphere. Dogs follow a steady, predictable routine that includes outdoor time in a large fenced play area with partial shade for running and play, daily leash walks around the property, enrichment activities, and rest tailored to each dog’s individual needs and energy level. Dogs are thoughtfully matched by temperament to support a safe, comfortable environment. I have two well-socialized dogs of my own who enjoy other dogs, but interaction is always based on each visiting dog’s comfort level. If a dog prefers space or does best without other dogs, they can have a calm, low-traffic stay with minimal or no interaction. For dogs who enjoy socializing, my dogs provide friendly companionship in a supervised, relaxed setting. For dogs who do best on their own, I also offer the option of exclusive care—meaning no other client dogs will be booked during their stay. This allows for a fully personalized experience with my full attention. Dogs stay in a clean, climate-controlled indoor suite with indoor rest areas and direct access to a private fenced outdoor space. The focus is on individualized, attentive care where each dog can relax, feel secure, and settle in quickly. Caring for your dog is part of my daily routine since I’m home full-time on the 300 acre farm with the dogs throughout the day. Dogs enjoy a consistent schedule that includes outdoor play, walks, enrichment, meals, and rest, all tailored to their individual needs and energy levels. I stay hands-on with their care and provide regular updates so you feel comfortable while you're away. I provide structured, attentive care in a calm farm setting designed to help dogs feel safe and comfortable. Dogs enjoy outdoor play, leash walks, enrichment activities, meals, and rest breaks tailored to their individual needs and energy levels. I provide regular up-dates with photos and videos, and you can check in any time to see how your pup is doing. Dogs have access to a clean, climate-controlled indoors, which is especially helpful for dogs who need their own space or do best with limited interaction. Since I also have two dogs of my own, I carefully manage introductions and can provide fully separate accommodations with no direct contact with other dogs if needed. There’s also a separate large fenced and partially shaded outdoor area where dogs can safely play, explore, and relax throughout the day.
“Zoe has a level of care for pets and for people that makes her stand out from the rest. She puts in so much time and love into making sure you AND your pet is comfortable. By far one of the best communicators I’ve encountered on Rover. Cannot say enough great things. 100/10”

About: I’ve taken care of dogs for the last 8 years my brothers two dogs along with the three dogs I had growing up. I love dogs, they truly know how to turn any bad day into a good one. I currently call high school sports but other than that I’m always at home, if known in advance I can always take time off and be available at anytime I have a huge front and back yard, I there aren’t any dogs in the house at the current time but I do dog sit for my brother so there are times when other family friendly dogs will be in the house.
“Savannah very clearly LOVES dogs and she made sure my fur baby had a blast every time he came for daycare. She was always on time and a great communicator. I can definitely be a helicopter mom at times, but I would trust her with my pup any day! We will definitely be back!”

“Samantha did an amazing job! She was very accommodating as our drop off time was very last minute. She sent updates and we felt like our pup was in great hands the whole time. We will definitely reach out again when we are back in the area.”

“Alysse was very accommodating, communicated consistently, and sent updates with photos. I had a last minute need for my pups to have some supervision and company and she was super understanding. Thanks so much. Would definitely book again :)”

About: I got my first family dog at the age of 12 and he was a 100 pound chocolate Labrador named Max. When I moved to Germany, I was not allowed to take him so he currently lives with my brother. After moving back to the US, I got my own toy poodle at the age of 16 named Eymber and was completely responsible for her. Once I moved to college, I got her a puppy named Koko and they absolutely love eachother. Eymber is now 5 years old and koko is 1. Occasionally, I stop by the Tuscaloosa animal shelter to volunteer and I love being the reason a pup was happy that day. I love my babies and all fur babies more than anything in the world!!💛 I graduated from the University of Alabama in December of 2024. I’m a stay at home wife while my spouse works at the Alberta elementary school of performing arts so I’ll have plenty of time to cafe for your pups. I have a small fenced in backyard and 2 adult toy poodles who are very sweet to everyone. I live in a small neighborhood with tons of space to take walks/runs. I also prefer a gentle approach when correcting behavior and I believe crates should be a safe space rather than punishment.

She sent me pictures and kept me updated. I won’t be booking a walk with Wag ever again... I will be using Catherine instead!”

About: What sets me different from others is the genuine connections I have with Dogs. A Dog is a man bestfriend and I love that quote. I single handedly trained all my dogs and others. Took time out to build that trust, connection, and loyalty to make sure we trust each other and be there for each other. I currently just graduated school. I went to Troy University out of high school and transferred to the University of Mississippi for my final year. Right now I have alot of free time on my hands and can work around any schedule. I care for pets the same way I care for a human. But also with the understanding the dog has to know your the “Top Dog” in a sense so it knows to respect you and not turn against you.

About: I’ve been taking care of dogs since childhood, and for the last five years I’ve regularly helped friends and neighbors with walking, feeding, bathing, and basic care. I understand dog behavior well and stay calm, consistent, and reliable no matter the dog’s age or personality. I currently am off season for my job, but I go to school at Alabama so it depends on when in the day and what times! But I am done at 2 pm every day. I live in a dorm that doesn’t allow pets unfortunately but next year I will live in an apartment so I will be able to sit then!

About: I’ve been caring for pets my entire life! I’ve had a dog for 9 years, a cat for 3, and I have recently welcomed my second cat while in college. From daily walks and feeding routines to litter boxes and vet visits, I understand the unique needs of both dogs and cats. My pets are family, and I treat every animal in my care with that same love and attention. As a college student home for the summer and working part-time, I have plenty of flexible time to dedicate to your pets. I’m available most mornings and afternoons, with evenings and weekends almost always open. Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine! Your pet’s safety and comfort is my top priority. Having cared for both a dog and cats in my own home, I know how to create a calm, secure environment. I have been passionate about animals since I was a child and this love for animals has grown over the years. I own 3 dog and a ferret – all are extremely well taken care of. Therefore, I am able to provide the same amount of love and care for your dogs as I do it for my own pets. I hope you will allow me to give your furry friend the best service! I currently work part-time. My availability is in the mornings and evenings during the week. On the weekends I am available at any time! Depending on the week, I may be available more times! I am very mindful of dog’s behavior in the home. About: I have always had dogs growing up. I have 3 of my own right now, and two of them are 6 months old. I was always the one that was asked to come look after people’s pups, which included feeding them, walking them, and staying with them. I love dogs almost more than I love humans, and they deserve the love and care that they show us. I work a part-time job right now during the summer, but am a college student so in the fall, I am a little more booked than now. Most days I have plenty of time to look after your pups. I have a fenced yard, and 2 puppies that love meeting new friends. I will care for your pups and never do anything that I wouldn’t do to my own.

About: I have 3 dogs myself and I’ve been taking care of dogs since I was 13. I’ve played with, walked, fed, bathed my neighbors, friends, and families dogs for years. My flexible schedule allows me to provide reliable care throughout the week, and I’m committed to being punctual and making sure each pet gets the attention, exercise, and care they needs! I prioritize every pet’s safety and comfort by following the owner’s instructions closely, using secure leashes and harnesses during walks, and ensuring gates and doors are always properly closed. During home visits, I’ll provide fresh water, feed pets as directed, give them plenty of attention and exercise, and make sure the home is left exactly as I found it. I’ll also keep owners updated with messages and photos so they know their pet is happy and well cared for!
About: I am a loving dog mom who views pet care as a privilege rather than a job. I have three dogs of my own and have been taking care of pets basically my whole life. I want people to feel they can be absent without being missed while I keep their pets happy, healthy, and entertained at their home or mine. I am currently working part-time so I have plenty of time to keep your pups entertained and cared for whether it be house sitting, walking, stop-ins, or boarding. Can board anytime of the week as long as pet is crate trained (crate is provided by me). I have a fenced in back yard with 3 friendly dogs to keep your furry friend entertained. Dogs are more the welcome to run around and play inside my home as well. I have lots of toys and lots of energy. My dogs and I love going on walks just as much as we love cuddling on the couch watching movies.

She is use to new dogs staying at our home because we perviously fostered for local area rescues. Please feel free to send me a message with any questions you may have.

About: I have three years of dog-sitting experience, caring for everything from energetic puppies to gentle seniors. As a proud pet parent myself, I believe in showering our babies with all the love and affection their precious lives deserve. I prioritize active, joyful outdoor time, including trips to the park, long walks, and relaxing together on the back porch! I'm correctly working part time and have a fairly flexible schedule. I want to be able to prioritize your pet's needs whether that looks like 1+ hour walks/ enrichment time or special feeding times and instructions. Your pets comfort is my number 1 priority. I love to go on long walks, go to the dog park, or used the fenced in dog space in my neighborhood to allow our babies the time they need to play and get the enrichment that they need. A pet is always welcome to make themselves at home in my space even if that means that I have to adapt certain things to their needs like assistance getting in bed for puppies and elder dogs or making sure that their favorite toys are always available for them to play with.
