About: Growing up, my father used to breed Mastiffs and Pitt Bulls, so I am no stranger to large breeds. Since I was 16, I have taken care of multiple large families of dogs, horses, cats, etc, so even a farm full of animals is no challenge. I have 2 pups of my own; a pit bull/lab and an aussie/healer who I have had for 6 years. Any amount, any size, any breed; I will take care of yours like they’re my own. I work full time Monday-Friday, 6:30am-3:15pm. I am an early riser so I can feed pets before work and will be available for walks and feedings after work as well. I will feed your animals to your specifications. With a fenced in yard, I will ensure I spend time with your pet outdoors playing, doing basic training if necessary, and ensuring physical activity as I do with my dogs. If I am watching them overnight, they will get at least one walk a day, and more if required.

What sets me apart from other sitters is that I’m very reasonably priced, and as a veterinary technician of 5+ years and a graduate of Jefferson State’s Veterinary Technology program, I have the specialized training for giving medications and what to do should an emergency arise! I am familiar with emergency medicine and have worked in an ER setting for almost a year. I’m currently taking a break from veterinary medicine to study for my state licensing exam to become a licensed veterinary technician! This has freed my schedule up to provide more care for pets! It adds a lot more peace of mind for consistent training and behavior expected with my dobie, even under the care of someone else when I am away. My Doberman is very comfortable which says a lot as she doesn’t connect with everyone so I am thrilled they click so well and she gets the wiggles when she sees her but also listens to her commands and has respect for Almu.
