About: I have taken care of dogs for the past 5 years, including a chihuahua of my own and my family’s dogs. I have experience raising puppies and caring for senior dogs as well. Even though every dog is different, I am able to provide adequate care and attention to every fur baby that I have the privilege of looking after. They took wonderful care of Poppy during the day while I worked, and I was still able to have her with me overnight, which made the whole trip so much easier. They were very accommodating in setting times for Flash and me to meet them and for dropping him off and picking him up. They followed the feeding instructions and made room for his dog bed and toys in their home. I really liked it that they lived in a beautiful neighborhood with sidewalks and that they had a nice fenced in back yard. I was out of town when Frankie came to care for my dogs and not only were my dogs completely taken care of, but Frankie also made sure my house was secured after each visit. I was always well informed of my dogs care and needs after each house visit / dog walk. Frankie followed all of my directions completely and even applied hotshot spray to my dogs backs because of their seasonal allergies. Pets need routines just as much as humans do for a sense of calm and safety. To continue to keep your (our) fur baby safe I will keep trash cans covered or inside a latched cabinet. Move all chemicals to high shelves or behind secure doors. Keep cords, chargers, and other potentially harmful items out of reach.
About: I love dog. I’m a very out doors person. I play in college so with me I love taking them on walks the dog park. I’m currently a student-athlete playing volleyball at Birmingham, and I’m home all day after practice and have a flexible schedule. I’m very disciplined with my time, so I can reliably care for pets early mornings, evenings, or throughout the day. Pet care fits naturally into my routine, and I’m doing this to help support my schooling, so I take it seriously. I provide a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for every pet. I have a spacious apartment and a pet washing station so I can always give your pet a bath and a pet-friendly home where dogs can relax, play, and feel at ease. I also have experience being around other dogs, so I’m attentive to their behavior and make sure everyone is supervised and comfortable.
About: Growing up I had experience with a lot of types of animals, from cats, dogs, sheep, pigs, cows and horses. In my adult life, I have had a lab mix and have had 4 boxers (3 currently still in the home) and a siamese mixed cat. I learned a lot about dog behavior when I got my first boxer through training, and feel like that has helped me with other dogs too. Two of my current boxers are seniors and they take meds so I am familiar with those types of things and my other one is 8 months old so I am currently also in the puppy phases as well. I do have a full-time job. Evenings and weekends are the best time for me on some days. I often work from home later in the week so I can be flexible those days. I am definitely open to chatting about options. I will keep my calendar up to date based on my availability. If your pups are coming to my house, I have a fenced in yard. I do have a pool, but I go outside with all pups for safety reasons. If your dog loves to swim let me know! I also have a quiet neighborhood for a nice leashed walk. I do have a lot of stairs so if you have a senior dog that has mobility issues my house might not be the best option. If they go out on a leash this would be less of an issue b/c I can take them for a walk out front. I crate my puppy when I am gone, and can crate your dog when/if you would like me too. I would like any special instructions about medications/food/behavior etc that are specific to your pets. I would need any specific instructions for your in home stays with your pets.

About: Hi! I’m Danielle. I’ve been taking care of animals for most of my life and have been pet-sitting for about 17 years. I also grew up on a farm, so being around animals has always just been part of my day-to-day life. I’ve worked long-term with a family who has four senior beagles (one is blind), so I’m very comfortable with medications, routines, and dogs that need a little extra patience and care. Your dog will stay in my home and be treated like part of the family. I have a large fenced yard where they can run and play, plus a covered area for shade when it’s hot (which, realistically, is often). I also live about a mile from a dog park if your dog enjoys getting out and exploring. I try to keep things as close to your dog’s normal routine as possible—whether that’s lots of playtime or just a calm place to relax. Every dog is different, and I adjust to what they need. I’ll keep you updated while you’re away, and you can trust that your dog is safe, cared for, and getting plenty of attention. I work a typical Monday–Friday 9–5 schedule, but I’m able to stop by during the day for potty breaks, medications, and check-ins. Before and after work, your pet will get plenty of attention, time outside, and interaction. Weekends are more flexible, so I’m able to spend more extended time with pets in my care. Every other weekend, my 5-year-old is with me—she’s grown up around animals and is very gentle and comfortable with them. My home is very pet-friendly and pretty relaxed. Dogs are welcome on furniture if that’s what they’re used to, and I try to keep their routine as close to home as possible. I have a large fenced yard where dogs can run and play, plus a covered area for shade when it’s hot. I keep a close eye on pets when they’re outside and make sure they’re always safe and comfortable.

Besides being kind, gentle, and thoughtful, she was very caring and gave our dog lots of attention. We had multiple pictures and videos, which were so nice. She took Oliver on walks every day, not down the street, but to a park every day. She also fed him home cooked chicken (with my approval) to try to get him to eat (picky eater!).
