“Brittney was the answer to all our problems! Our puppy, Rosie, needed last-minute surgery to remove a tumor on her leg right before we left on a trip we couldn't cancel. Since we couldn't board her in a place that couldn't keep careful watch over her at all times, we turned to Rover and found Brittney. Brittney made sure Rosie did not bother her surgery bandage and kept her around dogs with calmer temperaments (Rosie LOVES other dogs and needed to be around dogs that wouldn't get her too riled up and potentially bother her surgery wound). She also took care to ensure Rosie was in her post-surgery cone so she couldn't get to her wound overnight or when they needed to leave the house. She was a pro at giving Rosie her antibiotics and also went above and beyond by taking her to the vet when her bandage slipped off so she could get patched up with a new one. We couldn't have asked for better care for our Rosie while we were away. It wasn't a situation we wanted to be in, but Brittney made it all manageable and we were able to enjoy our trip with no worries over Rosie being taken care of. I should also mention that Rosie is a rescue and is scared of most people she meets. But she seemed to take to Brittney and her husband very quickly after we left, and if that's not a true endorsement, I don't know what is!”

About: I have grown up with dogs my whole life. I currently have two rescue pups of my own. I totally understand each baby has unique needs to live their own best life. I work at an elementary school and am off each day by 3:30 and don’t work weekends so I can spend afternoons and weekends caring for your babies. I also live directly next to a dog park and am happy to take them for an afternoon play! I have spent many years pet sitting in other people’s homes and am used to all different living situations for animals. Last minute, I feel that it is going to be too cold for me to be comfortable leaving them outside. David agreed to take them last minute, easing my concerns. We felt our pups were well cared for during their time with David. He kept us updated on them settling in. He sent us a video of our pups outside, behaving as they would if they were home. All of David's interactions with us during their stay allowed us to enjoy time with our family without concern. About: I was trained how to train dogs at an early age after our first dog was trained by our breeder. Since then I trained 2 golden retrievers and an Australian Cattle dog (red heeler). Both breeds are strong willed and have high energy. I work from home and so have a lot of freedom to break away to take care of dogs. I enjoy taking care of dogs and sharing the knowledge from my experience of training and raising dogs. I have a large beautiful fenced yard, have multiple crates for use and live within walking distance of a dog park. I have kids that will make sure your dog gets lots of love while being boarded.

Through caring for my own dogs, I’ve gained experience with feeding schedules, administering medication, walks, basic grooming, basic training, and noticing when something seems off. I recognize every dog has different personalities and energy levels and routines that are important. I believe pets deserve kindness, consistency, and attention, and I will care for your pets the same way I’d want mine to be taken care of. I work from home full time, so I can easily accommodate most schedules/times and every day of the week. I’m more of a night owl but can definitely figure out what will work best for you and me and your pet! I have a fenced in yard, we have 3 dogs in the home, who are playful and dog friendly. If you prefer them to be crated at night especially in a new strange place that is easily accommodated. Whatever you do with your pets I will do my best to replicate to keep them feeling comfortable and at home! I have no problem with communication via text/call about or during visits, and am happy to send update photos each day!
About: My husband and I have grown up with various dog breeds, different sizes, different ages, & different personalities. And we love them all! I have the position to be with them all day & night. With owner's permission we have a fenced in dog park for them to play and potty! I currently work remote, therefore I am able to be with them throughout the day/night. Plenty of opportunities to potty, eat, drink, snuggle, and play! My husband and I leave in a two story home with a fenced in backyard. We have two friendly dogs ages 8 & 5, that would love to have a buddy to play with!
About: I’m 39 years old and there has been a pet in my life since I was 7. I’m an only child and my pets quickly became like siblings (we didn’t fight like them, promise). I became the primary caregiver for my mom’s two senior mini dachshunds a few years ago and was able to get them crate and pee-pad trained. One of them crossed the rainbow bridge sadly, but my other little old lady is doing well. I fall in love with every animal I see and I would love the chance to fall in love with yours. I’m currently working a full time second shift job (1pm-11pm) so I have the mornings completely open to check on your babies. I’m also a night owl and have no problem doing a nighttime check after work or begin an overnight stay. If you have a fenced yard, I will let them outside and let them do their business before tossing a ball or toy or running around with them to get the zoomies out. If no yard, then I will take them out on a leash for a walk then some playtime inside. Food and water will be checked and refilled; cuddles will be provided at will. :)

I have cared for dogs of all ages from 6 weeks old to 15 years old. My childhood dog who passed away a few years ago lived until he was 15 years old. He was blind and deaf at the end of his life and required many medications and overall care. “Brittney was the answer to all our problems! Our puppy, Rosie, needed last-minute surgery to remove a tumor on her leg right before we left on a trip we couldn't cancel. Since we couldn't board her in a place that couldn't keep careful watch over her at all times, we turned to Rover and found Brittney. Brittney made sure Rosie did not bother her surgery bandage and kept her around dogs with calmer temperaments (Rosie LOVES other dogs and needed to be around dogs that wouldn't get her too riled up and potentially bother her surgery wound). She also took care to ensure Rosie was in her post-surgery cone so she couldn't get to her wound overnight or when they needed to leave the house. She was a pro at giving Rosie her antibiotics and also went above and beyond by taking her to the vet when her bandage slipped off so she could get patched up with a new one. We couldn't have asked for better care for our Rosie while we were away. It wasn't a situation we wanted to be in, but Brittney made it all manageable and we were able to enjoy our trip with no worries over Rosie being taken care of. I should also mention that Rosie is a rescue and is scared of most people she meets. But she seemed to take to Brittney and her husband very quickly after we left, and if that's not a true endorsement, I don't know what is!”
