Besides being kind, gentle, and thoughtful, she was very caring and gave our dog lots of attention. We had multiple pictures and videos, which were so nice. She took Oliver on walks every day, not down the street, but to a park every day. She also fed him home cooked chicken (with my approval) to try to get him to eat (picky eater!). “Brittney was the answer to all our problems! Our puppy, Rosie, needed last-minute surgery to remove a tumor on her leg right before we left on a trip we couldn't cancel. Since we couldn't board her in a place that couldn't keep careful watch over her at all times, we turned to Rover and found Brittney. Brittney made sure Rosie did not bother her surgery bandage and kept her around dogs with calmer temperaments (Rosie LOVES other dogs and needed to be around dogs that wouldn't get her too riled up and potentially bother her surgery wound). She also took care to ensure Rosie was in her post-surgery cone so she couldn't get to her wound overnight or when they needed to leave the house. She was a pro at giving Rosie her antibiotics and also went above and beyond by taking her to the vet when her bandage slipped off so she could get patched up with a new one. We couldn't have asked for better care for our Rosie while we were away. It wasn't a situation we wanted to be in, but Brittney made it all manageable and we were able to enjoy our trip with no worries over Rosie being taken care of. I should also mention that Rosie is a rescue and is scared of most people she meets. But she seemed to take to Brittney and her husband very quickly after we left, and if that's not a true endorsement, I don't know what is!”

About: I have grown up with dogs my whole life. I currently have two rescue pups of my own. I totally understand each baby has unique needs to live their own best life. I work at an elementary school and am off each day by 3:30 and don’t work weekends so I can spend afternoons and weekends caring for your babies. I also live directly next to a dog park and am happy to take them for an afternoon play! I have spent many years pet sitting in other people’s homes and am used to all different living situations for animals. I have crate trained my own dogs so can assist with that process, as well as take your baby on familiar walks and play time.

About: I’ve always been a cat lover since I was a child. During Covid I rescued four feral cats and I helped raise two of them. When I was moving off on my own for the first time one of the first things I knew I needed to do make my new place a home was a adopt a kitty. Last minute, I feel that it is going to be too cold for me to be comfortable leaving them outside. David agreed to take them last minute, easing my concerns. We felt our pups were well cared for during their time with David. He kept us updated on them settling in. He sent us a video of our pups outside, behaving as they would if they were home. All of David's interactions with us during their stay allowed us to enjoy time with our family without concern. Including, walks, visits, feedings, medication administration, all the snuggles and the occasional sleepover! Will clean up any accidents that may happen! My animals have passed so I am looking to give all my love to your babies! I work full time as a nurse working in a clinic and I have 2 kids, I can come anytime before or after work and anytime during the weekends! I offer walks and visits and feedings for whenever you need! My dog nieces and cat nieces and nephew parents are very particular with their animals and I always follow their instructions to a T and they trust me with their babies!
About: My first friend was an old bulldog mastiff. My next one was a jack russell terrier. The list went on and on until I graduated college and took in my first little mutt. I've always had dogs, I've always found companionship and comfort in their presence. Growing up along side them, I've learned a lot about their behaviors. Just like people, every dog is so different! And it is such an exciting adventure to get to meet a new one and learn about them! If I walk your dog or do a drop in visit, know that I am devoted to making them as happy as possible! My senior chihuahua is blind and most owners don't allow another dog to be brought, so that is why I can't offer overnight stays. (If you are not most owners, feel free to message me and we can arrange a sleepover!) I also have an older boxer mix who is an awesome walking buddy if you don't mind. Other than my dogs, my current schedule is completely open to whatever needs you have for caring for your dog. I always respect the space I am in. "Leave it how you found" it is my motto. I have lot of experience with cats and dogs since I currently have four cats and two dogs. I have experience with pets with health problems as one of my cats is prone to UTIs. Im currently a stay at home girlfriend who just focuses on renovating our home with various house projects, playing and taking care of our lil zoo, and works on mysmall business. Since I do everything for myself, my partner, or our animals I have a very flexible schedule. I am clean and tidy and more than happy to adhere to any rules that pet parents might have. If walks or potty breaks are needed I’m more than happy to get out stretch my legs and can even offer playtime for dogs or cats who think they’re dogs.
About: I’ve owned animals for most of my life, dogs for 12 years, generally 1-3 at a time. Through caring for my own dogs, I’ve gained experience with feeding schedules, administering medication, walks, basic grooming, basic training, and noticing when something seems off. I recognize every dog has different personalities and energy levels and routines that are important. I believe pets deserve kindness, consistency, and attention, and I will care for your pets the same way I’d want mine to be taken care of. I work from home full time, so I can easily accommodate most schedules/times and every day of the week. I’m more of a night owl but can definitely figure out what will work best for you and me and your pet! I have a fenced in yard, we have 3 dogs in the home, who are playful and dog friendly. If you prefer them to be crated at night especially in a new strange place that is easily accommodated. Whatever you do with your pets I will do my best to replicate to keep them feeling comfortable and at home! I have no problem with communication via text/call about or during visits, and am happy to send update photos each day!
About: I have experience with dogs of all ages and sizes, from puppies to senior dogs and Chihuahuas to Great Danes! All of which I’ve had no trouble with as I’m extremely sensitive to dogs and their personalities/temperament. I’m especially good with active dogs because I love to play! So you don’t have to worry about your furry companion and I not getting along. I’m doing pet care full time for the summer and I will be doing online classes at UAB during the fall; I’m almost always available for you and your pet. I still care for my own dogs, cats, and all types other little family members etc.i do have a very clean house and a big backyard for all animals who stay they do go out at certain times.those who stay with me sre separated from any of my animals !! I do however crate them all while feeding at my house so they will not fight or violent each others food . I have a big backyard that your dogs can play in. I also have a big basement that your cats can play or just slumber around. I look forward in helping anyone out by taking good care of your furry family . I’m retired and can work any time night or day and even on the holidays. I am able to provide the care of your furry friends any day . I love all kinds of animal's. I can also work on holidays and be on time for the needs of your pets. They way I take care of my own pets in my house is with dog gates and a fenced in back yard . I’ll take care of anyone’s pet is by however the owner wants me to.
About: I’m 39 years old and there has been a pet in my life since I was 7. I’m an only child and my pets quickly became like siblings (we didn’t fight like them, promise). I became the primary caregiver for my mom’s two senior mini dachshunds a few years ago and was able to get them crate and pee-pad trained. One of them crossed the rainbow bridge sadly, but my other little old lady is doing well. I fall in love with every animal I see and I would love the chance to fall in love with yours. I’m currently working a full time second shift job (1pm-11pm) so I have the mornings completely open to check on your babies. I’m also a night owl and have no problem doing a nighttime check after work or begin an overnight stay. If you have a fenced yard, I will let them outside and let them do their business before tossing a ball or toy or running around with them to get the zoomies out. If no yard, then I will take them out on a leash for a walk then some playtime inside. Food and water will be checked and refilled; cuddles will be provided at will. :)
About: My husband and I have grown up with various dog breeds, different sizes, different ages, & different personalities. And we love them all! I have the position to be with them all day & night. With owner's permission we have a fenced in dog park for them to play and potty! I currently work remote, therefore I am able to be with them throughout the day/night. About: I have 2 labs that have been a member of our family for 15 years. I also volunteer at the shelby co. humane society and the birmngham zoo. I understand why most people do not board with a vet and I feel the same way. My animals always have less stress and handle the seperation from human members alot easier. your furry family members are very important an I could not agree more. Besides being kind, gentle, and thoughtful, she was very caring and gave our dog lots of attention. We had multiple pictures and videos, which were so nice. She took Oliver on walks every day, not down the street, but to a park every day. She also fed him home cooked chicken (with my approval) to try to get him to eat (picky eater!). “Brittney was the answer to all our problems! Our puppy, Rosie, needed last-minute surgery to remove a tumor on her leg right before we left on a trip we couldn't cancel. Since we couldn't board her in a place that couldn't keep careful watch over her at all times, we turned to Rover and found Brittney. Brittney made sure Rosie did not bother her surgery bandage and kept her around dogs with calmer temperaments (Rosie LOVES other dogs and needed to be around dogs that wouldn't get her too riled up and potentially bother her surgery wound). She also took care to ensure Rosie was in her post-surgery cone so she couldn't get to her wound overnight or when they needed to leave the house. She was a pro at giving Rosie her antibiotics and also went above and beyond by taking her to the vet when her bandage slipped off so she could get patched up with a new one. We couldn't have asked for better care for our Rosie while we were away. It wasn't a situation we wanted to be in, but Brittney made it all manageable and we were able to enjoy our trip with no worries over Rosie being taken care of. I should also mention that Rosie is a rescue and is scared of most people she meets. But she seemed to take to Brittney and her husband very quickly after we left, and if that's not a true endorsement, I don't know what is!”
