“Kaitlyn and John took amazing care of my dog while I was away. This was the first time I left her at someone else’s home for an extended amount of time and it seemed as if my dog fit right in with their family and was given so much love and attention. They sent pictures and updates daily and my dog returned to me happy and healthy. I would love to have them watch my girl again next time I am in need of a pet sitter. Highly recommend!”

“Denice was so kind and takes her role as a pet sitter very seriously. She knows animals and once I saw her set up I knew animals are her passion in life. Not a single thing will be missed with Denice watching your furbaby!”

“Koda had the best time. Kiara and her husband provided the perfect place for our dog while we were gone. They were extremely communicative, sent us pictures and a wonderful family. We would absolutely use them again!”

About: I grew up in a very pet-friendly home and have always been surrounded by animals. My mom consistently had multiple cats at a time, and my dad and stepmom have always had several dogs in the household as well. Because of that, I’m very comfortable caring for both cats and dogs of different personalities and energy levels! I absolutely love animals and so does my entire family. I’m currently a stay at home mom to a 2 year old and almost 1 year old. We love going outside and playing with our two dogs! We spend a lot of time with our dogs and cat giving them love and playing with them! We do not have a fenced yard but our front yard is pretty big and a decent backyard. We can easily use crates for them if needed/preferred.
“Nicole sent me pictures and kept me informed during my trip. Her family all pitched in to keep the dogs comfortable. If I am able to, id leave my dogs with her again. Tazlina and Poncho were sad to leave their dog too.”

“Kristina watched my pup for 10 days. She was very responsive and messaged me right back with updates. Dog had a good time and I would definitely book with Kristina again. Thanks!”

“Amanda did great with Mia and working with my schedule. She is flexible if needed. I had to give a three day notice I was leaving for a couple of days and she gladly booked mia to stay. Mia enjoyed playing with all the doggies and I received photos every day. Will definitely book again.”

“Kassandra did an amazing job taking care of my anxious dog. We got updates and appreciate the activity and attention given. My pup came back home happy, calm and relaxed. Wow!!!”

“We received updates every day while we were gone. She took great care of our Lucy, and asked us for tips on her behavior. Sarah's caring and attentive to Lucy's needs. The pictures were much appreciated. We will use Sarah again if we can.”

“Tanner was fantastic with our dog, Kubo. We were gone for almost two weeks, and Tanner sent regular updates and photos. He has a very large yard for dogs to play in, and he took Kubo on a fun hike. I definitely would have Tanner watch our Kubo again.”

“Justin was wonderful at dealing with our very needy Old English Bulldog. He sent pictures and updates over the 2 weeks he had Freya, putting our minds at ease. Our dog enjoyed her stay with Justin so much she didn't want to leave when I went to pick her up! We will definitely use Justin again in the future.”

“Ashley was great, keeping me updated and sending pics. She was responsive, communicative and flexible. I will absolutely use her again. Thank you 🙏”

“Zhenya is awesome. This was our dogs first stay with her and they loved their time. She is easy to communicate with and responsive. We will definitely book with her again when we need a sitter.”

“A dog lover all of her life and a very supportive family that together made our dog feel completely at home. A fenced yard and 2 lovely dogs of her own rounded out our dog's stay. Can't recommend her enough.”

“Jennifer was awesome with my spoiled boy. She didn’t hesitate to include him as part of her family and spent a great deal of time making sure everything was just as I asked. I’m probably a helicopter dog mom, but Jennifer was more than willing to comply with all my quirky boy’s lifestyle. Would def recommend if you have a kiddo requiring extra attention or if you need piece of mind while your baby is in her care.”

“Nari was happy and healthy with Paula. She kept me informed as he was adjusting to being with her. Nari comes to work with me every day and hangs out in the car when I'm at work. Paula did the same with him to keep it as normal for him as possible. Will definitely re-book with her in the future.”

“Amanda is wonderful! She sent photos and video from each visit. My kittens loved her! Knowing that they were being loved and cared for gave me great peace of mind. She is now my go-to pet nanny :-)”

“We adopted a 7-month-old kitten this past summer and none of our usual cat sitters were available for an out of town trip we had scheduled for October 2022. Fortunately, we stumbled upon the Rover service and decided to give it a try. Katie was our first choice and things turned out very well. We booked a 4 night, 5 day stay. Inital communication was prompt and Katie came over to meet the little guy and scope out the house. We were greatly relieved to receive an initial report and picture within a day of our leaving, since we had no idea how our guy would react. Katie immediately put our nervousness to rest, and provided us with several additional updates and pictures during our trip. It was such a relief to know we left our guy in good hands. He was definitely glad to have us back, but showed no sign of stress. In addition to keeping our kitty safe and sound, the house was well cared for. We've let several of our pet owning friends know about Rover.com, and Katie in particular. We don't have any other trips planned, but we'll check Katie's availability when we do.”

“Hailey did a great job. She always kept in contact with me each day and let me know that she could find the cats if I asked her. Let me know their food and water levels as well. Great job, thank you!”

About: Coming from rural Minnesota, I've been raising animals for as long as I can remember. I take pride in having the honor of caring for fur babies and treat every animal as my own. I work Monday through Friday from 9-5, so I’m available for pet care in the evenings and fully available on weekends. Whether it’s walks, playtime, or just keeping your pets company, I’m here to make sure they’re happy and comfortable while you're away! I have a large fenced backyard and 3 dogs of Mt own who love having new playmates. I live right on a trail that surrounds a nearby park so walking and exercise is a breeze!

“Jennifer went above & beyond! She’s very sweet & bubbly, also professional & kind. She adapted to all my crazy-cat-lady antics & took care of my cat so well! She even cleaned up after a surprise bird massacre…”

“Morgan will 110% be a repeat for me! If she'll have me! 😆 Not only did she take care of my pets special needs (insulin injections), but she went above and beyond to actually make a connection with my fuzzies... AND me! She sent me photos everyday, and even left me adorable tiny Polaroids of them!!🫠🫶 The kind of care she provided, took a HUGE load off my shoulders while being out of state. knowing my animals are happy, eating & safe..its the best. Thank you, again!”

“Ashley was very sweet and took great care of our dogs. She did everything we asked and was always on time. Your animals will be in great hands if you use her. We will definitely be using her in the future!”

About: I have lived with cats my entire life and have cared for felines with a wide range of personalities. During my time volunteering at an animal shelter, I gained valuable experience managing upper respiratory illnesses and cerebellar hypoplasia in cats. I maintain a well-rounded schedule for feeding and litter changes and have become skilled in administering all kinds of medications. My goal is always to make every kitty friend feel as comfortable, happy, and loved as possible.

“Kaitlyn has been very good with our puppy, letting her outside to go to the bathroom and then play with her and reward for positive behavior (her experience as a dog trainer and vet tech is a bonus!) She updates us at each visit with pictures of our puppy and gives updates on how the drop in visits went. The only reason for 4/5 stars was because there was a scheduling issue where she forgot to cancel with us on a day she wasnt able to make it last minute and the puppy went longer than usual without a potty break (although ended being fine once we got home). However, she was very apologetic about her mistake, promised to not have it happen again, and offered a discount on some of the future visits to remedy her mistake. I appreciate that she took responsibility and sought to correct it the best she could. She has been faithful on all the other visits so far, responds quickly to messages, is polite and professional and I understand that mistakes can happen on occasion so I have continued to use her and would recommend her to others!”

“Tommy absolutely saved the day for us! We were traveling to Valdez and had our pup with us. We needed someone to check in on her while we were out for the day, and Tommy went above and beyond. He checked on her multiple times, took her to the beach, played with her, made sure she had lots of water, and then sent us tons of photos! It made us feel so at ease knowing Poppy was in great care. 10/10 recommend!”

About: What sets me apart is my depth of hands-on experience caring for dogs with many different personalities, temperaments, and needs. I’m very comfortable managing multiple dogs, reading body language, and creating a calm environment where dogs feel safe and settle in quickly. I have experience with puppies, including potty routines, crate training foundations, and helping young dogs adjust to new environments. I’m also attentive to senior dogs and those who may need a slower pace, medication, or extra comfort and supervision. Because dogs are such a big part of my daily life, I naturally pay attention to safety, structure, and individual needs. I understand how to introduce dogs carefully to new spaces, prevent overstimulation, and maintain routines so they feel secure while their owners are away. I only accept one household at a time, which allows me to provide personalized care, close supervision, and plenty of attention. My goal is always for dogs to feel relaxed, comfortable, and genuinely cared for-not just watched. Pet care fits very naturally into my daily routine because I’m home frequently throughout the day and dogs are already a central part of my life. This allows me to provide consistent supervision, regular potty breaks, playtime, and plenty of attention. I plan my schedule around the dogs in my care so they aren’t left alone for long periods. I’m able to maintain feeding routines, exercise, and quiet rest time so they feel comfortable and settled. Because I only accept one household at a time, I can focus on their individual needs and make sure they receive personalized care throughout the day. Safety and comfort are always my top priorities. In my home, I create a calm, structured environment where dogs can settle in and feel secure. I only accept one household of dogs at a time, which allows me to provide close supervision and individualized attention without overcrowding or unnecessary stress. I introduce dogs to new spaces gradually and pay close attention to body language, behavior, and comfort levels so I can adjust care to their needs. Dogs have access to comfortable resting areas, regular potty breaks, and supervised outdoor time in a secure space. I follow each owner’s instructions carefully for feeding, routines, medications, and exercise to maintain consistency. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I respect their space and maintain the pet’s normal routine as closely as possible. I make sure pets are safe, comfortable, and well cared for during each visit, and I provide updates and photos so owners can feel confident while they are away. My goal is always to create a safe, low stress experience where pets feel relaxed and owners feel complete peace of mind.

Monday-Friday is mostly open with a few instances where I don’t have flexibility. I will care for your fluffy friends either at your home if that is your preference, or I can offer short term stays at my home. My preference is to keep animals where they are most comfortable.

About: With a strong background in working and high-drive dogs—especially German Shepherds—I bring a structured, intentional approach to pet care. I’ve raised and trained multiple dogs through advanced obedience and sport foundations, with a focus on clear communication, calm handling, and routine. My experience has shown me that not every dog thrives in chaotic daycare environments, which is why I prioritize individualized care, low-stress transitions, and purposeful engagement. Whether your dog needs stability, mental stimulation, or simply a quiet, well-managed space, they’ll be handled with the same level of consistency and respect I expect for my own dogs. Pet care is built into my daily routine from start to finish—it’s not something I squeeze in, it’s something I structure my day around. Mornings begin early with kennel checks, potty rotations, feeding, and a calm reset for the day. Throughout the day, I run scheduled rotations for exercise, engagement, and rest, ensuring each dog gets individual attention without overstimulation. Evenings include additional potty breaks, wind-down time, and a final check to make sure every dog is settled, clean, and comfortable. This consistent, predictable routine allows me to provide attentive, low-stress care while maintaining a calm and controlled environment for every dog. In my home, pets are cared for in a calm, structured environment designed to reduce stress and provide clarity. Each dog is housed individually and follows a consistent daily routine that includes scheduled potty breaks, feeding, rest, and purposeful engagement. I focus on calm handling, clean transitions, and one-on-one attention rather than group chaos or open play. Dogs are monitored closely throughout the day, and their environment is kept clean, quiet, and predictable. This approach is especially well-suited for working, high-drive, or more sensitive dogs who benefit from structure, routine, and thoughtful care.
“Forrest was absolutely exhausted when we got home and had an amazing day with Zhenya. Forrest will staying for the weekend and planning a day at daycare with Zhenya has definitely put my mind to ease for boarding. Highly recommend!”

About: My name is Cameron, and I’m a dog trainer offering personalized training and boarding services designed around the unique needs of each dog. I take a thoughtful, intentional approach prioritizing structure, environment, and overall well-being so every dog in my care feels safe, understood, and set up to succeed. No two dogs are the same, which is why I tailor each stay to match their temperament, behavior, and needs whether that means building reliable obedience, working through behavioral challenges, or enjoying a balanced and structured day-to-day life. When dogs stay with me for boarding, they’re not just being watched they’re cared for with purpose. Each dog follows a structured daily routine that includes exercise, enrichment, rest, and play, all adjusted to their individual energy level and personality. I’m very intentional about creating a calm, controlled environment, whether a dog thrives in a social setting or needs more one-on-one time and space. A big part of my program includes getting dogs out into the real world in a safe and structured way. We incorporate long walks, hikes, and adventure-style pack walks to build confidence, improve behavior in new environments, and allow dogs to decompress in a healthy, fulfilling way. These outings aren’t just for exercise they’re intentional training opportunities that help dogs learn how to exist calmly and neutrally around new sights, smells, and distractions. I’ve had the opportunity to work with a wide range of dogs, from police K9s and sport dogs to beloved family pets and rescue cases. That experience allows me to confidently adapt to different drives, temperaments, and challenges. At the end of the day, my focus is on building clear communication, confidence, and trust so both you and your dog feel supported every step of the way. For the past four years, I have immersed myself in working with dogs across various fields, from pet dogs to police K9s and protection dogs. This diverse experience has enriched my skills and deepened my passion for canine care and training. My part-time job provides me with the flexibility to dedicate ample time to these incredible animals, allowing me to focus on their training, well-being, and development. This journey has been immensely rewarding, fostering a profound connection with each dog and enhancing my expertise in handling and training them. Ensuring the safety and well-being of dogs in my care is my top priority. I implement strict safety protocols, including secure environments, proper nutrition, regular health check-ups, and personalized training programs tailored to each dog's needs. I vigilantly monitor their behavior to prevent any potential issues and provide a nurturing atmosphere that promotes their physical and emotional health. By fostering a routine that balances exercise, socialization, and rest, I create a harmonious environment where each dog can thrive safely and happily.

About: Hi! My name is Sarah, and I specialize in caring for small dogs in my home. I have a small dog of my own, so I truly understand the unique needs of little pups and how important it is for them to feel safe, comfortable, and protected. Because I have experience with small breeds, I’m very mindful about their safety. Small dogs can be more vulnerable to things like larger animals, big birds, or unsafe outdoor environments, so I always closely supervise outdoor time and make sure they’re in a secure, controlled area. Your dog will be treated like part of the family here. I focus on providing a calm, attentive environment where small dogs can relax, play safely, and receive plenty of attention and care. I know how much trust it takes to leave your pet with someone, and I take that responsibility very seriously. I look forward to meeting you and your pup! I am home full time so I will be available to be with your pup all day and give all the care he or she needs! Safety is my top priority — pets are always supervised, introductions are done slowly and carefully, and I follow each owner’s routines and preferences. I keep a clean, pet-friendly home, provide comfortable rest areas, and can crate your dog if requested. You’ll receive regular updates and photos so you always know your pet is happy and well cared for.

Thanks!”

“Kassandra did an amazing job taking care of my anxious dog. We got updates and appreciate the activity and attention given. My pup came back home happy, calm and relaxed. Wow!!!”
