“We adopted a 7-month-old kitten this past summer and none of our usual cat sitters were available for an out of town trip we had scheduled for October 2022. Fortunately, we stumbled upon the Rover service and decided to give it a try. Katie was our first choice and things turned out very well. We booked a 4 night, 5 day stay. Inital communication was prompt and Katie came over to meet the little guy and scope out the house. We were greatly relieved to receive an initial report and picture within a day of our leaving, since we had no idea how our guy would react. Katie immediately put our nervousness to rest, and provided us with several additional updates and pictures during our trip. It was such a relief to know we left our guy in good hands. He was definitely glad to have us back, but showed no sign of stress. In addition to keeping our kitty safe and sound, the house was well cared for. “Kaitlyn has been very good with our puppy, letting her outside to go to the bathroom and then play with her and reward for positive behavior (her experience as a dog trainer and vet tech is a bonus!) She updates us at each visit with pictures of our puppy and gives updates on how the drop in visits went. The only reason for 4/5 stars was because there was a scheduling issue where she forgot to cancel with us on a day she wasnt able to make it last minute and the puppy went longer than usual without a potty break (although ended being fine once we got home). However, she was very apologetic about her mistake, promised to not have it happen again, and offered a discount on some of the future visits to remedy her mistake. I appreciate that she took responsibility and sought to correct it the best she could. She has been faithful on all the other visits so far, responds quickly to messages, is polite and professional and I understand that mistakes can happen on occasion so I have continued to use her and would recommend her to others!”

About: i had 3 dogs in my life. 2 of the dogs i had. i had since i was born. then i adopted another dog in 2014. wanting to adopted more dogs in the future. i have dogsit before in the past 3 years before i knew about rover. i love and adore dogs. i cant imagine life without one. “Zhenya and her family were friendly and caring! We have never used Rover before and had a holiday crises that she covered for without question. They loved my pug puppy and little old girl. She sent pictures and updates every day!”
“Justin is completely awesome. I had an urgent trip to go on and he took me in right away and was very flexible with me on bringing my pups in. He watched them for 5 days and he made sure my pups were being good. He sent daily updates on and pictures. I would highly recommend Justin!”
“Finn's stay with Julie was great. I got multiple daily updates which was awesome since Finn is a puppy and I was worried he might be really stressed. They clearly have a lot of experience with dogs and all their quirks :). They are pretty flexible and offer a pick-up and drop-off option which came in handy this trip. I will definitely use them again. Their HOA only allows 2 dogs, so your dog will be the only one staying there with them and their dog. They are a very nice couple with a great set-up for watching a dog.”

I’m probably a helicopter dog mom, but Jennifer was more than willing to comply with all my quirky boy’s lifestyle. Would def recommend if you have a kiddo requiring extra attention or if you need piece of mind while your baby is in her care.”
“Nari was happy and healthy with Paula. She kept me informed as he was adjusting to being with her. Nari comes to work with me every day and hangs out in the car when I'm at work. Paula did the same with him to keep it as normal for him as possible. Will definitely re-book with her in the future.”
