“Kaitlin and her family took such good care of my girl! I couldn’t have asked for a better family to watch her for a week. Communication was excellent and I know she was well taken care of!”

“Amanda has been wonderful with Hatcher! He’s stayed several times now and he comes home tuckered out. We love her open communication and frequent photo & video updates while he’s with her. She takes great care of our boy and we appreciate all she does so we can enjoy our time away from him without having to worry if he’s ok. Thank you so much Amanda!”

“Fast and great communication with Olga. I had a very horrible experience a few months ago with my dog's first pet sitter. Very relieved that my dog was taken care of and loved getting photos while I was away.”

“Ashley was great, keeping me updated and sending pics. She was responsive, communicative and flexible. I will absolutely use her again. Thank you 🙏”

“A dog lover all of her life and a very supportive family that together made our dog feel completely at home. A fenced yard and 2 lovely dogs of her own rounded out our dog's stay. Can't recommend her enough.”

“Zhenya and her family were friendly and caring! We have never used Rover before and had a holiday crises that she covered for without question. They loved my pug puppy and little old girl. She sent pictures and updates every day!”
“Sarah was amazing! She sent daily updates and photos, which gave me so much peace of mind. She was incredibly attentive and quick to respond to any questions or concerns. Iggy absolutely loved his little vacation! He and her pup, Bunny, got along so well. They were adorable. I’ll definitely be booking with Sarah again!”

“Finn's stay with Julie was great. I got multiple daily updates which was awesome since Finn is a puppy and I was worried he might be really stressed. They clearly have a lot of experience with dogs and all their quirks :). They are pretty flexible and offer a pick-up and drop-off option which came in handy this trip. I will definitely use them again. Their HOA only allows 2 dogs, so your dog will be the only one staying there with them and their dog. They are a very nice couple with a great set-up for watching a dog.”

“Ramona was seriously really great. We could tell she and her family were genuinely happy to have our dog Murphy at their home for a few days. We received several updates and pictures of Murphy. Murphy didn’t want to leave when we picked him up! We will absolutely be using Ramona in the future.”

“Excellent care of our terrier by a couple who understands small dogs and their sometimes big personalities. I look forward to your care of Rowdy again in the near future! Thank you Huw and Jolynne”

“Jessica sent pictures of maple often and told me he was doing just fine over there. Was flexible with picking up time changed and plan on using her again for next time.”

“Crystal is so great with my two springer spaniels, one is so very different from the other. One is a lover and needs attention and affection. The other is an athlete and needs to always be retrieving. They come back happy after staying with Crystal.”

“Sharon and Michael 100/10 would recommend! They are honestly the best. They take such great care of my husky. They send the most beautiful pictures of her. And they communicate and keep me updated about my husky!”

“Lindsey was great! My dog felt right at home with her two pups and was well taken care of. Looking forward to having Lindsey watch her in the future when I need a dog sitter.”

“Our pups had a terrific time with Mia over the weekend. She made sure they had plenty of playtime, walks and downtime. Great communication, lots of pics. I would happily rebook with Mia!”

“Our dog seemed to enjoy her stay. Great yard for play, and neighborhood for walks. Kaitlin gave great updates during the stay and was flexible with us for drop off and pick up.”

“Ryan did a great job with my high energy lab! He was always kept busy and was very tired when he came home. I honestly don’t think my dog wanted to leave. Highly recommend!”

“This was our first time using Rover and we had a great experience with Danielle. She communicated very well with us. She sent us pictures and was flexible with drop off and pick up times. She seems like she truly is an animal lover. I think our dog was a little nervous when we left him because it was with somebody new but when we came back, he didn’t wanna leave her !”

“Wonderful job! Lindsey had such a kind and gentle way with our cats. She understood their individual personalities and took amazing care of them while we away! It was a huge comfort knowing they were in such good hands.”

“Dorian was fantastic with my three cats, he was easy to communicate with, providing detailed and fun updates (and pictures!) each day, and making sure that they all my pets received appropriate attention. My kitties had a great time and he was so thoughtful with playing with my high energy kitten, and then giving my older guys extra love and treats. I trust him to watch my house and pets any time, and I'm looking forward to working with him in the future, thank you Dorian!”

About: I’ve grown up around dogs and currently have two corgis of my own, Chimi and Churro, so caring for pups is just part of my everyday life. They’re my little adventure buddies, and we love being outside together, going on walks, exploring trails, and soaking up fresh air. Because I’m used to handling my own energetic dogs daily, I’m comfortable with all sizes, personalities, and energy levels. Whether your dog needs a long walk to burn energy, playtime, or slower, gentle care, I’m happy to match their pace and routine. My goal is lots of love, exercise, and a very happy dog. Im currently working at a dental office Monday-Thursday 9am-5:30pm. So I’m available most weekdays if you need a quick walk or drop-ins, if not I'm available Friday-Sunday with whatever pet needs you may have! In your home, I’m respectful, clean, and treat your space like my own. I make sure pets feel calm and comfortable by keeping their environment familiar and stress-free. I’m happy to send regular updates and photos so you always know how your pet is doing. On walks, dogs are always leashed and closely supervised. I carefully follow feeding schedules, routines, and any special instructions to keep things consistent and stress-free.

“Ashley did a wonderful job with our cats during her drop-in visits. She was reliable, attentive, and made sure they were well cared for while we were away. We really appreciated the updates and would happily book with her again!”

About: I have years of experience dealing with dogs and cats of all ages, including fosters with behavioral and medical issues that needed special attention. I work from home, so I’m able to spend lots of extra time with animals that need extra attention. I work from home full-time, so being available during the day is super easy. I also love to stay active, so long walks and hikes are a breeze! I’m also great at nail trims, even on less than willing participants. I’m super flexible in terms of feeding times, bathroom breaks, etc. I’m also a big believer that no one should come home to a dirty house after a trip, so you can expect things to be at least as clean as you left them.
About: I have two dogs of my own that I’ve raised since they were puppies, so I understand the full range of care from early training to senior needs. My oldest dog is 11 and my youngest is 8. This gives me experience with all ranges of dog care from puppy routines, basic training, and providing extra patience and comfort for aging dogs. I treat every pet like my own and focus on creating a safe, calm, and consistent environment so they feel comfortable while you’re away. As a teacher on summer vacation, I have a very flexible schedule and plenty of time to dedicate to pet care. This allows me to be available for consistent visits, walks, and extra attention to meet each pet’s individual needs. I care for pets by following their usual routines as closely as possible to help them feel comfortable and secure. In both my home and a client’s home, I make sure pets are fed on schedule, get plenty of exercise, and receive lots of attention and affection.
“Lindsey was amazing, she took care of our cat, Mavis. This was my first time using this app and thankfully she made it a good experience. We were gone for 10 days, and each night we had a message and photo to look at. Everything was just how we left it, thank you so much again!!!”

About: Hi! I have taken care of a variety of pets, including my own, and love caring for them. I love learning about each of their unique personalities and caring for them in the way they need. I do have a full time job, however it is a very flexible schedule, so I can fit in all of your pet’s needs. Just let me know when you need me! I have two pets myself, a dog and a cat. I love spending time and playing with my dog as she is very hyper. I also love to snuggle and chill with my cat.
About: Ever since I was young I've taken care of dogs, cats, ferrets, and birds at younger ages as well! I bond very well with animals and I treat them like they're a human too, it's instinct. I always wanted what's best for animals because they can't talk so I want to be their voice and opinion for them! I will be avaialble and open Monday-Sunday, so I'll have lots of time to tend to many furry companions! I work part-time for the time being but am open to expanding my schedule! I can easily meet each owners needs on their companions! If you need anything in particular just let me know and I'll accommodate to each individual!
“Amanda was great to our 2 kitties! She sent so many pictures and updates. Even our shy kitty came out to get attention and love from her. We will definitely be asking her to watch them again in the future! Thanks for being such a trustworthy, great sitter! 😊”

“Mikayla is an awesome pet and house sitter. She is reliable and communicates very well. I have cat with medical needs and she handled her beautifully. She listened to all my instructions and I knew my home and cat were in great hands. I returned to a clean home and a happy cat! I highly recommend Mikayla!”

“To be honest, I'm disappointed with my experience. I don't like leaving negative reviews, but I feel it's important to provide honest feedback. I don't believe this sitter was particularly comfortable with cats. Some of the photos she sent actually concerned me, as my cats appeared stressed or unwell in several of them. She also allowed my cats onto the kitchen counter, which is not acceptable in my home. Additionally, she sent photos showing rugs and their harnesses knocked off counters and out of place. I had to point out that things had fallen and needed to be picked up before they were even addressed. When I returned home, the harnesses were still left in front of the door. Caring for my cats is a very straightforward job. They have an automatic litter box, automatic water fountain, and automatic feeder, so daily responsibilities are minimal - wet food, a treat, and try to get them to play. Unfortunately, the lack of attention to detail and effort was noticeable. I've used Rover before and had wonderful experiences with cat sitters who kept me updated with thoughtful messages, photos of my cats enjoying treats, playing with toys, giving me their arrival and departure notifications, and observations that helped put my mind at ease while I was away. Unfortunately, that was not the experience I received this time. Communication was sparse, and I felt like I was hearing very little from someone who was regularly entering my home and caring for pets that are incredibly important to me. The daily updates felt generic and lacked the level of care, engagement, and reassurance I was expecting.”

“Alysa is awesome, and a was a lifesaver when family medical emergencies caused half our family to travel out of state for treatment. Alysa came in and dealt with my dog in her teenage rebel phase, but always made sure she was well taken care of and given lots of attention. And I appreciated Alysa's thorough communication through the entire process.”

“Sarah is an amazing catsitter! Its my 4th time booking her to take care of my boy Nori and each time has been great! He is always so well taken care of and I loved getting photos of him especially when he's mid action playing with his favorite toys! I highly recommend Sarah for your cat care needs and I know my Nori is looking forward to seeing Sarah again in the future!”

“Chelsea was amazing! Our dog is a big ball of energy and she handled him like a champ! We got updates with pictures and videos of Lefty playing in the huge yard with their dog, Tok and even the cat! He came home happy as can be! Thank you again!”
“Can’t brag on Ashley enough! She is a absolute sweetheart and is so amazing with my pup Nova. She watches Nova weekly while I work and never fails to communicate on how Nova is doing throughout the day and is always flexible with her time. Nova has the BEST TIME at Ashley’s and loves playing with her dogs. Thank you for treating Nova like you’re own ❤️”

“Great! This was the first time my wife and I had used a dog daycare service, so we were a little nervous about leaving our senior dog with anyone. However, Sharon and Michael were great. They were super nice and made the process very easy, and they took very good care of our old dog. They give senior dogs special privileges and take extra care of them, which we loved. Highly recommend Sharon and Michael, and we will definitely use them again next time we need dog daycare services. Thank you, Sharon and Michael, for taking such great care of our Molly!”

“Zhenya’s house is set up to be the ultimate pet resort! Left my dog there for daycare and he was well taken care of. Zhenya’s is a professional and you can definitely depend on her!”

“Faelyn was very careful with introducing my shy, reluctant dog to her two dogs. My dog loved playing in the large fenced in yard with her dogs and was welcomed like one of the family. I hope to use her services again.”

“I absolutely love Trey. She was super kind and loved my dog as if she were her own. It was our first time doing doggy sitting and Trey was very transparent about my dog getting a cut on her face. I didn't mind, since dogs are like that, but the fact that she was up front and honest meant a lot to me. I will be using her services continually in the future and I highly recommend her to anyone else who wants their babies to be treated with love and care.”

About: Since I was 9, I have house/pet sat for countless neighbors and friends. Dogs/cats/birds/fish/hamsters/Guinea pigs/bunnies/lizards - the list goes on! I have a sweet, very active 3 yr old doodle who loves all animals/humans. I spoil animals and am “that person” that will ask to play with your dog when we cross paths 😊 Although I have only ever operated through word of mouth, I am new to the area so am here to build my clientele! Let’s connect!! As of May ‘26, I can be home full time. For boarding/daycare, I do prefer pets that have minimal to no shedding. If in your home, I’m open to any and all! :) I treat your pets just as you would - or better. It’s what I would want for mine. I’m flexible and will do anything you prefer, whether it’s using a crate, being strict with leashes (especially if they’re an escape artist), specific food/med schedules, etc. I am highly experienced with security systems, caring for homes, and watching out for issues like unlocked doors/leaks/etc. I take detailed notes and make sure to stay in contact - and I am not afraid to ask questions! As of May ‘26 - I am home full time! Dogs must be kenneled while I am gone. I’m open to puppies but they need to be pretty well trained (I.e. potty & crate) as I have a dog as well! My #1 priority is making sure pets are safe and secure at all times. Depending on the location, dogs are either leashed or fenced in - ALWAYS! I grew up with escape artist dogs so I learned the “do’s and don’ts” pretty quick :) I do my research on toys/bones and always monitor the pet while they’re “busy.” Animals are my best friends and I do everything I can to make sure they’re 100% safe, well taken care of, and HAPPY! That being said, I do highly prefer minimal to no shedding depending on the size of the dog and the situation.

About: I have puppy sat for a couple years now. I love all animals and I’m very physically fit to take care of them. I can’t have a puppy of my own right now so I love taking care and spending time with them when I can. I’m available 24/7 right now. Animals can’t stay at my place, but I am free to stay with them overnight or whatever is needed. I can stay weekends as well. I can stay with the Dog/pup 24/7. I can stay overnight, take them on walks, any kind of care that is needed I can take care of.
“Tessa did a great job with my dog Bella. She took very good care of her. She sent me some pictures throughout the day, Bella was very happy and well taken care of when I picked her up, I highly recommend Tessa if you need someone to watch your fur baby.”

About: I love animals and being able to help you with your pet care needs. I would love spending some of that time on your canine companions or feline friend. I have owned dogs and cats with a variety of personalities and concerns and love them all. My dogs have ranged in age from one to twenty and eight pound an to eighty. Every pet is unique and special. I have watched dogs and cats off and on for friends and family for more than ten years. I have also raised small animals and reptiles. I am friendly but firm and will treat your furry friend like my own. They will get lots of love, exercise, and petting. Please give me a chance to win over your pet. I am a teacher so busy during the school year and mostly free during the summer. During the school year I am available evenings and weekends. I have two fenced yards. A small one connected to the house with a dog door and a bigger one. I have chickens who live in the bigger one during the summer. I am not currently having doggie visitors overnight as my cats don't like it.
About: Hi! Both my husband and I have grown up in Alaska helping care for small chihuahuas all the way up to wolf-hybrids. We are a fun and loving couple with 2 small doodles of our own, 3 stories of house to play in, a small backyard/potty area, and located right next to a doggy park. We can’t wait to meet your furry friend! I work from home permanently, so I am able to provide care all day long for your fur baby. While I work, typically my two doodles spend their time snacking and watching TV! Once the work day is up, to the park we go! I have two miniature sized doodles to keep your dog company. Additionally, we have many toys available to play with, ample treats, and a small backyard area for potty with an additional park right next door. Both of my doodles are fixed and crate trained. :)
“Alex is great! I can tell my dog enjoys her time there because she was a little TOO excited on the second day. Alex takes lots of great pics and pays attention to my dog's behavior throughout the day. It's also nice that she provides a walk even though there's plenty of space to run around in her yard. Thank you!”

About: My husband and I lost our great Pyrenees a few months ago. :( We have an older shihtzu and would like to watch another dog because our dog is getting older and does not like to hike anymore. She does enjoy her walks tho. We like all types of dogs as long as they are well behaved and get along with cats and other dogs. Our home is 2,800 sq ft and we have a 10,000 sq ft yard. We can only host 2 dogs max at a time so your dog will be well taken care. We prefer only one at a time tho since we also have a cat . I am currently working part time but work from home most of the time. My husband also works from home . We walk our dog 2 -3 times a day. We like to hike and during the summer and in winter we walk the trails that are right next to our home. I have a fenced yard , but can also crate your baby if you prefer. We have everything needed for a big or little dog.
“Very happy with Crystal! My dogs were well taken care of & I had piece of mind knowing they were in good hands. Very kind & patient helping me navigate your Rover app too! 😊👍”

All funds that I receive from petsitting are put towards getting my own horse and saving for veterinary school. I am incredibly grateful for your trust and support. I am a student at UAA, currently work at a vet clinic, and have several outside commitments in preparation for vet school, so my schedule can get busy! However, I always make sure your pets is a priority, and am more than happy to discuss my scheduling in very specific detail with you. I completely understand if your pets needs do not align with my schedule, but would love to touch base to see if we could make it work! Weekends are my best availability, but I specialize in staying at your home so that your animal has the comfort and familiarity of somewhere they know! I prefer to stay overnight to ensure as much care and time can be given to them, which works well with my class and work schedule because I can stop by and check on your babies multiple times a day! Your pet always comes first. I prefer to watch animals in your own home because it is somewhere they are comfortable and familiar with! Whether it’s cuddles, frisbee, or a good long walk, anything your pet needs it will get! Spoiling your babies while you’re away eases the burden of you being gone, and I will do absolutely everything to make sure your pets are as comfortable as possible.

“Alejandra took excellent care of my dog Finn while I was on a 2 week long trip. Communication was excellent and I genuinely felt like she enjoyed spending time with Finn. Don’t hesitate to book Alejandra for whatever pet care needs you have - dog walking, house sitting, etc. She is very reliable and professional.”

“Lindsey was so great with my puppy. She took care of him twice a day for multiple days and was always right on time, never giving me a doubt about the care he was in. She also sent pictures and updates each time. Thanks so much!!”

“So glad that Tessa could take Alfred in a midday walk while I worked. Gave me peace of mind knowing he was taken care of and wouldn’t have to wait for me if I couldn’t get away from work for a lunch time walk. Thank you so much!!!”

About: I grew up in Alaska with a goldendoodle named Kinley and a tabby cat I rescued named Chance, so caring for animals has always been a big part of my life. Now that I’m back home in Alaska after graduating college, I’ve continued fostering dogs and helping care for pets with different personalities and energy levels. Fostering has helped me become comfortable with shy dogs, high-energy dogs, and pets adjusting to new environments. I’m active, reliable, and love making sure pets feel safe, comfortable, and cared for while their owners are away. My schedule is super flexible. I’m usually able to accommodate requests with a little advance notice. Send me a message and let's chat! Through fostering dogs and caring for my own pets, I’ve gained experience with dogs of different ages, sizes, and personalities. I always make sure pets feel safe, comfortable, and well cared for, whether that means getting enough exercise, sticking to their routine, or giving them extra patience and attention while their owners are away.
About: I love all animals, with proper direction I’m positive I can give adequate care to any and all animals and ensure their safety and health. I work full time with a nonprofit organization downtown that helps unhoused youths. My schedule is Sunday through Thursday from 2:30 pm - 10:30. My days off are Friday and Saturday. I can take one break depending on the how far the location is from my work to give a potty break. In my free time I’m devoted to whatever may come and is needed for any and all pets ❤️ I’ve worked with the state for most of my adult life and always have passed a background check. My resume includes elderly care, hospital healthcare, in home healthcare, and most recently three years as a domestic violence/homeless shelter advocate with a non profit organization in rural Alaska. I’ve had animals my entire life and enjoy the company of all! I have experience with not only cats and dogs but fish, rodents and reptiles as well. I am open and eager to learn and care for all different kinds of animals and am confident in my abilities to do so with adequate information from the pet parents.
“Eric did a wonderful job walking our pups! He was on time, we got pics of them out on their walk and had 2 happy pup faces when they got home! Thank you Eric!”

“Kaitlin and her family took such good care of my girl! I couldn’t have asked for a better family to watch her for a week. Communication was excellent and I know she was well taken care of!”

“Chelsea did a fantastic job sitting for our dogs! She was responsive when we had questions and sent us daily updates with photos demonstrating that the dogs were having a great time at her place. In fact, they seemed kind of bummed when we arrived to pick them up. 😂 We would 100% recommend Chelsea as a sitter to others and book with her again for our dogs.”

“Madelyn was so great! She watched our puppy on short notice. She is knowledgeable, accommodating, responsive, kind, and a wonderful pet sitter. We will definitely request her services again!”

“Kerry is so thoughtful, communicative, and caring! I appreciate her clear affection for doggos, and her patience and understanding about Petra’s quirks. Thank you so much!”

“Chelsea provided great communication throughout my dogs stay with her. She also had a welcoming environment for my two dogs. I felt confident and comfortable with leaving my dogs with her and would definitely have my dogs stay with her again.”

“This is our first time using Rover, and we struck gold with Emily. It is difficult to leave a beloved dog with a stranger so we arranged a pre-travel meet & greet to ensure our pet’s need would be met—frequent walks, love, and attention. She brought her dogs and they made one big happy pack. Just before we left, our dog developed a limp. Emily was extra cautious with him and he was all better when we returned 5 days later. She was great about sending multiple daily photos and texts to keep us updated. We are very grateful to have found someone like her and will definitely ask her to watch him again.”
