About: Would love to love on others pets as we unexpectedly lost our dog of 12 years and aren’t ready for another of our own yet I’m currently a stay home mom to a 3 year old daughter, we walk almost everyday and have more than enough time and love to give! We have a shared unfenced yard but walk around the neighborhood daily. We have an open space for playing around and lots of time to give!

About: Had 2 siamese back in the day and boy were they loud at times but faithful friends and beautiful animals. Rescued a stray in 2010 and come to find out she had hidden 5 kittens, they all ended up staying except one which went to a friend. We named them after the 4 seasons (including Fall and Autumn to give us 5 names). The mom we called Polly. Big fluffy mama cat. There’s only one left now but they all lived good long lives. My ex has the remaining one now.

About: I have spent most of my life caring for rescue animals. I grew up on a farm that rehabilitated race horses and have continued to adopt and love animals in need. I have dog grooming experience, training, basic first aid/medical care (old pups and special needs). I currently am off for several months from working on the slope so I have all the time in the world to love your baby. I am also insured through PCI (Pet Care Insurance) on top of the Rover Garuntee. About: Hi! Both my husband and I have grown up in Alaska helping care for small chihuahuas all the way up to wolf-hybrids. We are a fun and loving couple with 2 small doodles of our own, 3 stories of house to play in, a small backyard/potty area, and located right next to a doggy park. We can’t wait to meet your furry friend! I work from home permanently, so I am able to provide care all day long for your fur baby. While I work, typically my two doodles spend their time snacking and watching TV! Once the work day is up, to the park we go! I have two miniature sized doodles to keep your dog company. About: i had 3 dogs in my life. 2 of the dogs i had. i had since i was born. then i adopted another dog in 2014. wanting to adopted more dogs in the future. i have dogsit before in the past 3 years before i knew about rover. i love and adore dogs. i cant imagine life without one. Dogs are everything to me. Having dogs around get me outside more and walking more. i have trained my 3 dogs. so i know a tiny bit about trainging them. I do live in an apartment in the 3rd floor on the top. If the dog needs it I can carry him/her up and down the stairs no issue at all. About: My husband and I lost our great Pyrenees a few months ago. :( We have an older shihtzu and would like to watch another dog because our dog is getting older and does not like to hike anymore. She does enjoy her walks tho. We like all types of dogs as long as they are well behaved and get along with cats and other dogs. Our home is 2,800 sq ft and we have a 10,000 sq ft yard. We can only host 2 dogs max at a time so your dog will be well taken care. We prefer only one at a time tho since we also have a cat . I am currently working part time but work from home most of the time. My husband also works from home . We walk our dog 2 -3 times a day. We like to hike and during the summer and in winter we walk the trails that are right next to our home. I have a fenced yard , but can also crate your baby if you prefer. We have everything needed for a big or little dog.

About: During my childhood I often spent time with my grandmother and her pack of boxers. Now I have a Boston Terrier named Jack. I can handle a pack of up to 8 on my own I do currently have a job so I can be a bit busy sometimes. I live with quite a few people, we all help out with caring for the dogs in our care. About: Roughly two years ago, I received a call from a colleague asking to house sit for a weekend after a previous bad experience with boarding two dogs. Both with health issues and one of them not sociable with other dogs. My colleague came back to a clean home, garden watered, mail organized and the dogs very well loved and walked everyday. Ever since, I have housesat for anywhere from 48hrs to nearly 30 days at a time with zero issues. Bed time rituals, feeding songs, walking a slightly reactive dog, cuddling very closely at night were the priorities at the top of the to-do list. Now that two years have passed since that first call I have decided to try my hand at truly making dog walking/house sitting/drop-in playdates a side gig! I work 12hrs a day, rotating weeks 3 days or 4 days a week. Typically Wednesday/Thursday-Saturday off every week. I am up early most mornings in my time off, can make myself available for late nights Wednesday-Friday as well. In your home, I will follow all requests diligently, check all doors and windows before leaving or before bed. I am MANDT de-escalation trained, CPR/BLS certified and will soon be training to further my EMS-adjacent skillsets. During the school year (mid August through late December and mid January through late May) I work as a teaching assistant and must prioritize that but I would endeavor to schedule all non-work related activities around the needs of the pet and their family. As I have two dogs of my own neither of which get along well with other dogs, I would not be able to care for another pet in my own home, but I am always willing to stay in another home if pets require constant supervision. I would always follow any instructions regarding pet care given me by the owners. If clear instructions are not given to me, I will ask questions and I will simply do my best to make the pet comfortable and not to change their routine more than absolutely necessary.
About: Hi there, my name is Erica! I grew up with dogs and currently have my own rescue pup, an eight-year-old German Shepherd mix. About: Our dog passed away and I miss her very much. Recently relocated to Alaska and loving it! Have extra time on my hands to care for your furry bundle. I’ll take care of her/him/them like my own. Sorry I can’t commit to a reoccurring schedule at this time. Currently between jobs (indefinitely!) so I have plenty of time until then to give your loved ones attention. I love being outdoors so plenty of fresh air is not an issue or playing inside and curling up on sofa with your fluff ball is cool too. No problem if your pet prefers their own space, I am open to all types of personalities. Happy to care for pets in your home according to your normal routine. About: Ive had dogs in my life for just about all of it. I figured why not walk dogs and make some side cash while I walk around. Taking care of pets and walking dogs is more of just a part time thing I'm doing to pass the time and get to hang out with animals. Before I moved to Anchorage my family had 4 dogs that I took care of on a daily basis. I always make sure the dog is secured to a lease before I bring them out. Currently on a part time seasonal schedule with more time going to be available in the winter. Figured this would be a great way to stay active and outside while going into the winter months I've have plenty of experience with dogs and their care growing up in northwest Alaska. My siblings and I all had dogs growing up from newborn pups to our fathers dog that lived until he was 21.

About: Would love to love on others pets as we unexpectedly lost our dog of 12 years and aren’t ready for another of our own yet I’m currently a stay home mom to a 3 year old daughter, we walk almost everyday and have more than enough time and love to give! About: Hi there!! I have taken care of animals since I have use of reason. At home I grew up in an environment full of dogs, cats, rabbits, chickens, birds. My friends and family have felt very comfortable and confident with me when they have had to travel and leave their pets at home. I would love that we could connect and help you too. I have a golden retriever and a doxie and love having new friends over. He have a backyard and a park near home where we go for walks every day. now I am working full time but with a super schedule that allows me to have spaces in the morning and in the evening, also completely free nights.
