“Thank you Anne for looking after collie Jane so well and treating her as one of the family! She was obviously so at home with you that she ran out to greet us, then promptly ran back into the house, where it was clearly much more exciting than us! Jane is looking forward to her next stay with you! 😊”

“We booked Finn in with Larissa as a last minute emergency booking, as have been extremely satisfied! Our dog bounced into their lives! We were kept mostly updated with photo's and comments about his time! When we picked him up he seemed very content, no signs of stress at all! Finn was even given a toy as a parting gift! Finn has been extremely well looked after and we will come back again!”

“Absolutely fantastic care by Ann ans Simon. They took great care, and really thought about what would make her happy on her stay. Winnie was a little sad to leave when it was time to say goodbye. I couldn’t recommend Ann enough!”

“Yuen was absolutely amazing in taking care of Eddie and always sending lots of photos of him. I would strongly recommend her services if you’re looking to leave your dog with someone.”

“Erin and Alex were fantastic! Could not rate them highly enough. Sent me so many lovely photos, videos and messaging updates throughout Floyd's stay whilst we were on holiday. I felt like they did a brilliant job looking after Floyd and he seemed to have the best time! Will definitely be looking to book them in the future 😊”

“Chendy is such a kind and gentle lady and our little spaniel was really happy with her. She was sensitive to him being a little nervous at first and let him come out of his shell. She kept me informed via text about he was doing which I was so grateful for. He has slept all day today after his stay so I think it's safe to say he had a great time! What a fabulous location for dogs too - right on the edge of the forest. Thank you Chendy, see you again soon I hope.”

“Delphi loves her stays with Bill and his household. Always updates us and takes such good care of her. She's treated very much like one of the family. Thank you once again Bill. We'll be booking again.”

“What a wonderful time my dog Buzz had with Yvonne and David. He was treated as one of the family with endless cuddles and treats. I received lots of photos and updates throughout his stay, which kept me at ease. Will definitely be booking them again. My Buzz didn't want to come home, he had such a lovely time!”

About: I have owned small dogs for many years and already care for friends medium sized dogs, (Fox and Bedlington terriers) in my home, boarding, short and long stay. Dogs will be walked on a lead twice per day for at least 30 mins per walk. I work from home weekdays with frequent breaks so your dog will be right next to my desk when not exploring around the house. Out for walkies on breaks and in the evening as well as playing in the garden when they want to. I have a fenced garden and they will have the run of the garden and downstairs during the day (weather permitting the patio doors will be open). Kitchen and utility room at night. The house is cool in summer and cosy in winter.
“As usual Lenny and Boo had a lovely stay. Jenny is so good with them and they are so happy when they come home. I wouldn’t leave them with anyone else while Jenny is doing this service.”

“Anna and Jorge took great care of Floyd. They sent an update daily and posted little videos which was very reassuring. And Floyd must have been very contented with them as I dont think he wanted to come home when I went to pick him up!”

“I'm a first time dog-lendee and I couldn't be happier with the boarding, love, care and attention offered to Inca by Tom and his lovely wife. Great communication and very welcoming but most of all a true animal lover. This could have so easily gone wrong with Inca's rescue background but Tom has dog-whispering skills like I've never seen before. I wouldn't hesitate to ask Tom to have Inca again because I know she's in safe and caring hands. Thank you.”

“We were really happy to leave our Irish Terrier with Ros and Charles and will happily do so again. Their knowledge and understanding of dogs shines through and they were very happy to discuss Pogues needs/quirks with us in detail. Pogue came home very happy and relaxed. Playing chase with Ros and relaxing with Charles clearly suited him!”

“Kirsty looked after Honey for two nights, Honey settled in straight away and was very comfortable. Kirsty made her feel at home and had lots of toys for Honey to play with. She also made sure Honey had plenty of outdoor time with walks in the woods and the beach and provided us with lots of updates. Would definitely recommend Kirsty, she is an excellent dog boarder and we will be booking again!”

“Our Clive was sad to leave! He had the best time and I felt really at ease meeting beforehand for our first rover experience. Clive needs a lot of training and hands on as he’s currently in adolescence and can be very mischievous but Jessica was brilliant with him. Regular updates were really helpful to keep my mind at ease during the stay. Thank you both so much ♥️”

“Kayleigh was excellent. She responded very quickly to messages and was very reliable. Ginger was well cared for and enjoyed his cuddles. He was not at all stressed upon our return and was obviously at ease with Kayleigh, who left everything tip-top!”

“Absolutely brilliant. I didn't have to worry at all whilst we were away, Clara did a fantastic job! The cats didn't show any signs of stress whilst we were gone, and when we came back they were healthy and happy. Clara kept in touch and sent photos and videos, I will definitely be booking with her again.”

“Sophie was incredibly patient and flexible over the booking process (which was complicated due to some cat health issues that affected the booking times), and responded promptly and patiently to all my messages and my last-minute flailing around! Has been thoughtful, great with problem solving, communicative throughout, and took great care in staying with them during the sessions to ensure they’d had everything they needed, especially as one has been incredibly poorly lately. Has earned the trust of my two very finicky and anxious cats. Thank you Sophie!”

“Amela was wonderful! We’ll definitely be reaching out to her for all of our future trips. She was punctual, quick to respond, and proactive in sharing updates. We came home to a very happy kitty—thank you so much!”

About: I got my first cat when I was 6 years old. And from that time I have never stopped having cats until my moving to the UK from Ukraine. My kids adore cats as well. I know how to feed them, play, brush and even bath them.

About: I’ve never owned a cat myself, but I’ve been lucky to look after cats for friends, family, and colleagues, and I’ve completely fallen in love with them. I’m definitely a cat person at heart and love how unique each one is. I’m happy to take things at their pace, whether that means earning their trust slowly, enjoying some quiet company, or cuddles when they’re feeling affectionate.
About: I’ve grown up around dogs my whole life, so caring for them comes naturally. I’ve spent years around all kinds of breeds and personalities, from high energy springer spaniels to independent dachshunds and loyal German shepherds. At home we have one of each, so I know first-hand how different their needs, routines and quirks can be. Whether it’s long walks, playtime or just making them feel safe and happy, I treat every dog as if they were my own. I am home from uni for summer, so I can take them on short/long walks across Hadrian’s wall. Or we can relax at home, on the sofa 😛 I treat both the dog and the space with the same care and respect I would my own. I know how important it is for dogs to feel comfortable in their usual surroundings, so I stick to their normal routine and keep things calm and consistent. I’m tidy, reliable and always make sure everything’s left just how I found it — except maybe with a happier, well-walked dog.
About: Coming from a family of farmers in County Durham, I grew up surrounded by animals; dogs, cats, chickens, ducks, sheep, cows and horses! Previously done house sits and walking for dogs who all left with 5* reviews. I graduated university with a criminology degree and currently working part time so able to fit in to you and your pets schedule. I have my own means of transport - pet friendly, and able to take them to their usual or new spots. I am able to manage walking multiple dogs at once. I work part time, 4 days a week until 3pm. I am available to take your pets out either way. I’m an early riser to pet sitting can start any point in the day! I also have my own means of transport. I am consistent, reliable and luckily a housekeeper! Your home would be in very safe hands. In my own home my pets favourite place is my bedroom! I wake up to 3 cats and 2 dogs in my bed most mornings.

“***Superstars*** Really can’t thank Jane and Lee enough for house sitting for us and looking after our two cats. We have come home to our house being cleaner than when we left and our two cats happy and stress free! - we had regular picture updates of our cats and lines of communication if we needed it. Highly recommended! (Lee even fixed our hoover which broke just before we left)”

“First time using a dog sitter and my 4yr old Cockapoo was absolutely fine. It was great knowing he was with an experienced dog sitter and with other dogs for company. Will definitely be using again.”

“Stellar and adaptable dog day care when our holiday plans somewhat changed and transport was limited. Yuen’s and her family’s support for our plans and loving care for our special dog at short-notice were above and beyond anything we could have hoped for. We definitely recommend Yuen to anyone needing dog day care, and will seek her services on our future visits to the area.”

“Deb and her partner were brilliant at looking after our cockapoo Basil for the day. They had him for the day while we attended a wedding nearby. They sent us lots of photos and video updates throughout the day which was lovely. Basil can be a bit anxious but he happily trotted off with them when we dropped him off and seemed very happy when we picked him up. Thank you very much!”

About: Dogs have been a central part of my life since I was 8 years old. Over the past 38+ years, I have cared for a wide variety of breeds, ranging from delicate toy breeds (Yorkshire Terriers, Maltese, Poodles, Bichon Frise) to majestic and large breeds like Afghan Hounds and Black Russian Terriers. I also have hands-on breeding experience: I whelped and raised a healthy litter of 6 Bichon Frise puppies, managing their full care, feeding, bathing, grooming, and socialization until they went to their loving forever homes. Because of this, I am very comfortable with full coat care (washing, blow-drying, brushing out mats) as well as administering oral or topical medications. What your dog will enjoy staying with me: • Constant Company & 24/7 Care: I work remotely from home full-time with a fully flexible schedule, meaning pets are never left unattended. I am always present to provide continuous care, safety, and companionship throughout the day. • Safe Environment: A private house with a fully fenced, secure backyard for safe play, plus a beautiful park within short walking distance for daily adventures. • Peaceful & Child-Free Home: No children in the household. I share my home with my friendly, small Yorkshire Terrier. • Flexible & Accommodating: If your dog prefers peace and quiet or doesn't like socializing with other dogs, I can easily provide them with their own private, comfortable room. Whether your pet needs active outdoor playtime, gentle senior care, medication, or just lots of cuddles and daily routine maintenance, they will be treated like family here! I work remotely from home with a fully flexible schedule, allowing me to easily adapt to your dog’s specific daily routine. Since I am at home all day, your pet will receive constant supervision, affection, and companionship. I enjoy taking regular daily walks to the nearby park, adhering strictly to set feeding schedules, and providing plenty of playtime. Your dog will never be left unattended or lonely. I offer a safe, child-free environment in a private home featuring a fully fenced, secure garden for off-leash play. I share our home with a friendly small Yorkshire Terrier, but if your dog prefers quiet or personal space, I can easily provide a comfortable separate room. With over 38 years of dog care experience and a breeder background, I prioritize health, safety, medication administration, and proper grooming.

“Emily was so lovely. She took care of both our dogs during the day while we were on vacation in Edinburgh so we could go to museums etc. She was attentive, kind, and both my boys were taken great care of! One of them is a puppy and she was great at working with him and being understanding with some of the things he is still learning.”

“Thank you for looking after Fezziwig today. He had a lovely time and was excited to see you again. Thanks for all your care and special attention. See you soon again hopefully.”

“We left Moses with Kim for the first time yesterday for the day. An excellent experience from our point of view. Kim clearly loves dogs. We had a meet and greet a few days earlier, and Moses was keen to come back as soon as he got to the front door, which is a good sign. He was very relaxed staying with Kim. Thanks Kim we'll be back! 😄”

“Very happy with my pups walks this week. Louise agreed to pick up these walks last minute as we had a cancellation with our other walker - this has really helped us out and we appreciated the walks she did with our dog. She took him on different walks each day and even gave him a bag of treats at the end. Thanks so much!”

I work remotely, so I’m at home most of the day and can give pets plenty of attention, comfort and supervision. This means I can stick closely to your pet’s routine for feeding, toilet breaks, play and rest. I’m careful with doors and safety checks, and I’m happy to send regular updates and photos so you feel reassured while you’re away.

About: I’ve owned dogs from the age of 6, both small and large, alongside other animals🐾 I love all animals tiny or giant! I often pet sit for friends, family and colleagues often. I work for a mental health charity full time, Monday to Friday 9am-5pm, but enjoy spending my free time going on walks and spending time with my english pointer Ellie who has endless amounts of energy. I would like to put my passion for animals to good use by helping out other pet parents when I can! I’m flexible and understand that every pet is unique and have their own quirks. I’m also open to extra long walks as a girl who loves to get her steps in! I’m available after 5pm on a weekday (Monday-Friday) but sometimes this is flexible! I am also available for early morning 6-7am on a weekday (Monday-Friday) but sometimes this is flexible also! On a weekend I am available at ANY time! I mainly offer drop-in visits, dog walks, and occasional in-home stays, allowing pets to stay comfortable and relaxed in their familiar environment. I don’t host pets in my own home, as I have a dog and want to avoid causing them any stress by introducing unfamiliar animals into their space. As a true animal lover, I take the time to understand each pet’s routine, personality, and needs so they feel safe and secure while you’re away. Whether it’s a quick visit, a walk, or a longer stay, I carefully follow all instructions regarding feeding, exercise, playtime, and any special care requirements. During visits, I make sure your pet gets plenty of attention, affection, and companionship—not just the basics. I’m attentive to their behaviour and wellbeing, and I always aim to make each visit calm, positive, and reassuring. I respect your home and keep everything clean, tidy, and secure. Trust and safety are very important to me, and I’m happy to provide regular updates and photos so you can feel completely at ease while you’re away.

I have recently started my own dog walking and pet services business so my schedule is flexible. I have a van which is fully insured to carry dogs. About: Hi there! My name is João, I came from Brazil to do my PhD research a few months ago and, since then, has been working as pet sitting in Newcastle. I had to leave my two cats under my friend's care during the period I am here (sadly but also thankfully), so I sincerely can relate with the need of having someone responsable, trustful and experience to look after our littles. I have experience taking care of dogs and cats here, as well as of pets for family and friends in Brazil, including dogs, cats, hamsters and bunnies, which I consider positive experiences in developing a sense of how to provide assistance in different situations regarding sitter them. For me, aside from doing an extra money to support my period of study here, it will be a genuine pleasure to spend time with your pets and give them all the love I keep with me for my cats, and I will make sure to take care of your pets with the same attention I would like mine to be cared, ensuring they will be safe, respected and catered to all needs. As I have flexible times at university my schedule is always free. I am available all day every day of week so we can previously arrange the activities you need to be provided (including home visits, house sitting, walk in neighbourhood, take or pick from home to somewhere, or others). But as each pet has their own personality, before I can look after your pets I will need to know as much as possible about them, like routine, diet, any allergies, medicines, behaviour alone and with other animals, in and out of home, activities that they enjoy etc. If you feel that I can help you caring your pet please send me a message so we can chat about how I can help.

“This was our first time using a dog sitter, and I was a little nervous, but Brianna was fantastic. She took great care of our dog Betsy, kept me updated with messages and photos, and made the whole experience stress-free. My dog was happy and well looked after. I would definitely recommend her and would happily book with her again. Thank you!”

“Rebecca was fantastic and bruno really enjoyed his stay with her family and making friends with her dog Douglas. Rebecca kept myself and my partner updated during bruno's stay with plenty of pictures and messages to re assure us he was safe and loving his life. Bruno will definitely be returning ☺️”

“Massive thanks to Katie and her family for looking after Trevor and Harry on a last minute request. The dogs looked like they had a great time and we were provided lots of updates which was nice. Would definitely have them sit our dogs again!”

“Nicola has been great in looking after Bella and following my requests, she is very reliable and I recommend her to anyone who wants their dogs well cared for. Thank you again Nic!”

“Remi stayed with Helen for 5 days when we went on holiday. Helen was absolutely great with Remi and took him to loads of places to explore and just took great general care of him. She was really good with providing updates of their adventures. Would definitely recommend if you’re looking for someone to care for your pups”

“If I could give Gabbi 10 stars I would!! She was absolutely amazing with my Bruno and looked after him like he was her own. She kept me updated with lots of pictures and videos which really reassured me as this was my first time leaving Bruno with someone who wasn’t family. Bruno also got along really well with Gabbi’s lovely dog Sully and they became the best of friends!! I would 1000% recommend Gabbi to anyone and would definitely rebook with her! xx”

“On our meet and greet, Jake was very professional and calm focusing solely on bonding with our dog. Jake asked us alot of questions regarding the day to day routine and was ok feeding Storm raw food after he walked us through Saltwell park. Jake went above and beyond sending photos, videos and voice messages on Whatsapp during Storms stay. Jake brough Storm out in his car and to dog a cafe. Storm is a large breed, American Akita, who is particular of strangers but accepted Jake straight away. He has stayed twice now. Jake was very understanding that Storm has to be the only pet during his stay and accommodated without issue.”

“My dog Dolly stayed with Laura last night, and overall it was a good experience. She seemed happy and well looked after when I picked her up. Communication was great, and I got a couple of updates while she was there, which was really nice and reassuring. The place seemed safe and Dolly settled in quite quickly. I feel it went smoothly and I’d be happy to use her again in the future.”

About: I have cared for dogs since I was 11 years old and currently have a two-and-a-half-year-old Cockapoo in the UK. Alongside caring for my own dog, I have experience looking after both small and large breeds, as well as raising cats and rabbits in my home country. Dogs staying with me will enjoy daily visits to the nearby park, with at least two 30-minute walks or play sessions each day. With the owner’s permission and where it is safe, they can also enjoy off-lead play. I am patient, attentive and always take the time to understand each dog’s individual personality and routine, treating every pet as part of my own family. I believe every dog deserves to feel safe, loved and at home while their family is away. I am a PhD student with a flexible schedule, and my partner is at home full-time, so dogs staying with us will have plenty of company, attention and supervision throughout the day. Our usual routine includes three outdoor trips at around 9 am, 3 pm and 8 pm, with walks, playtime, sniffing and games of fetch in the large park just two minutes from our home. Between walks, dogs are free to relax, play and spend time with us at home. We also do our best to follow each dog’s usual feeding, walking and sleeping routine, so they can settle in quickly and feel comfortable and at home. We live in a spacious two-storey house with plenty of room for dogs to relax, play and move around comfortably. A large park is only a one-minute walk from our home, making regular exercise and outdoor time easy. Dogs are not routinely kept in crates, although we can follow their usual crate routine if requested. All guest dogs are welcome on the sofa, and dogs under 30 kg may sleep on the bed with the owner’s permission. We carefully follow all care instructions and make sure every dog is well supervised throughout their stay. I also keep detailed records of your dog’s daily routine and wellbeing, including their meals, walks, toilet habits, mood, behaviour and any other important changes, so you can easily keep track of how they are doing. Regular photo and video updates are provided throughout the stay, together with detailed status updates, so you’ll always know your dog is safe, happy and having fun. Photos are shared in a way that allows owners to easily view and save them as lovely memories of their dog’s stay.
