I tailor the day to each dog's energy level and routine, making sure they feel safe, happy, and at home. Your dog's safety, comfort, and routine are our top priorities. I have a friendly 9-year-old Labrador who loves the company of other dogs and gets on well with canine visitors. I follow your dog's usual routine as closely as possible, including feeding, walks, playtime, and any medication if required. I'm also happy to accommodate their preferred sleeping arrangements—whether that's in our bedroom, their own bed, another room, or a crate—so they feel as relaxed and at home as possible.

About: Hi! I’m a full-time worker living in Thorndon with my little cat and my partner Ethan (also a pet sitter). I love spending time with animals — and since I have a cat, I’ll take any excuse for dog cuddles! 🐾 I’m happy to do drop-ins, house sitting, and dog walks (short or long), including travelling further if needed. I work Monday–Friday, 7am–3pm, so I’m free most afternoons, evenings, and weekends, and I’m flexible with timings. Comfortable with animals of all sizes. DBS checked. I currently work full time 7am -3pm mon - fri so can provide care in the afternoons/evenings. I am almost always free over the weekends. Experienced with caring for dogs with extra needs - i am always vigilant when caring or walking a dog, will cater to their individual needs

Kirsteen agreed to look after my two dogs for 6 days/nights, she was very a very warm, welcoming host, we went for a short walk on the drop off day so it made the handover very smooth. About: Growing up around animals I have gained experience in loving for horses, dogs, cats, reptiles and many more! I used to own two lovely girl rats (Luna and CC) and now I have a 1 year old puppy named Finn! I am keen to transfer my animal loving nature towards your furry (or otherwise) children! I have owned many dogs through my time around animals big and small, I will attach some pictures of my previous pups down below! In my early years I owned a lovely pony called Rio, which involved early mornings and late nights of TLC. I own my own vehicle as well as a range of dog seat belt sizes, so if your dog enjoys time at the beach or would just enjoy some new scenery I can accommodate that too! No ask is too much! I work part time Wednesday to Saturday 9-5:30 so anything before or after those hours works great! Monday, Tuesday and Sunday I am fully flexible for you! Due to me and partner having small animals in my home for your pets safety and theirs I am only able to pet sit over night in your home, or if your animal is okay being on their own, and you just need me to pop by for potty breaks, walks or feeding/medication, I can do that too!

I have my own 3-year-old Cavapoo called Archie, so I have plenty of experience with day-to-day care, walks, feeding, playtime and training. I can care for dogs at my home or stay at the owner’s home, depending on what works best. If I’m staying at the owner’s home, Archie would need to come with me as he is my own dog and is very friendly. I always put a pet’s safety and wellbeing first. I have a completely fenced and secure garden where dogs can safely enjoy some outdoor time. Archie is friendly and is used to roaming freely around the house, but I also have a stair gate and a crate available if either dog needs some extra space, separation or a quiet place to settle. When caring for a pet in their own home, I would follow their usual routine and make sure they feel comfortable and secure in familiar surroundings. I’m respectful of people’s homes and understand how important it is to build trust with both the owner and their pet.

About: A home from home for your furry friend 🐾 I’m a huge, genuine animal lover with a lifetime of experience caring for dogs and other animals. I grew up with two Staffies from the age of 7–25, and have had my sausage dog since I was 18, so dogs have always been a huge part of my life. I’ve also owned a rabbit, lots of fish, and dwarf hamster — safe to say, I love animals of all shapes and sizes! I regularly look after dogs and genuinely treat every dog I care for as one of my own, guaranteeing lots of cuddles and happy tail-wagging! I’ll always keep you updated with photos and messages throughout their stay or walks, so you can see what they’re getting up to and have peace of mind knowing your fur baby is happy, safe and well looked after! 🐶❤️ I work from home most days, so your dog will have plenty of company throughout the day and won’t be short of cuddles and attention! On the days I’m in the office, my boyfriend works fully remotely and will be at home, meaning your pup won’t be left alone for long periods. He is also a huge dog lover and has experience in looking after dogs and other animals since he was young, as well as regularly looking after dogs with me. I live with my boyfriend in our privately owned home, with a fully fenced garden and a communal grass area directly behind us, with access from our back garden. It’s a popular spot for local dog walkers, so it’s perfect for pups who enjoy a bit of socialising. We’re also just a 5-minute walk from open fields, as well as having plenty of quieter pavements nearby for walks. I also have access to a car, so I’m happy to accommodate trips further afield or anything your dog might need.

I'm available for full day care, and possibly overnight stays. Our home is calm and child-free, making it an ideal environment for dogs who need a peaceful space. Teddy is a small dog who is great with other dogs and enjoys having playmates to share his day with. We have a secure garden where they can play safely. Since I'm here around the clock, your dog will receive plenty of attention, care, and companionship throughout their stay -they'll never be left alone for long periods. I’m at home all day. My little dog is walked by 10am most mornings and then has the use of the garden for the rest of the day. In the nicer weather he may get more walks!! I have a secure garden for dogs to enjoy, including a safely fenced-off pond area so they can explore while staying protected. Safety is always my priority.
