About: Hi I’m Spencer. I’m 23 and due to graduate from university this summer as a veterinary surgeon. I’m looking for some dog walking/sitting to earn a bit of money this summer. As part of my veterinary training, I have spent many weeks in kennels, catteries and veterinary practices so have experience of looking after and providing the best care for our four legged friends. I understand the importance of delivering top quality care and treating every animal like it’s my own and tailoring to individual needs. Any medications your pet needs I am confident in giving them as required Throughout my veterinary training, I have learned different approaches for all types of patients - geriatric, anxious or young puppies. I am a hard working and reliable individual and put pride in everything I do. I currently work part time shifts in a restaurant too but am fairly flexible with shifts that dog and cat care can be balanced around this. When with them, they are my number 1 priority 💖 What once started as a fun hobby, turned into something I realised I'm actually really good at, and could make a living from! 5 years ago I started volunteering to walk dogs via BorrowMyDoggy, in London, then it became looking after dogs and cats in their homes. Then I moved out of London, to Norfolk, and found a wonderful community built on trust and friendliness. I made friends and naturally offered to look after their pets when they're away. My big realisation happened when I did a house/pet sit for, in total, near on FOUR MONTHS. It was two dogs (Cockapoo & Beagle-Pitbull), and two cats, with one cat being poorly, which was a steep learning curve for me. I made friends with the client's dog walker, Paula (of Paula's Pawsome Dog Park!), who asked me if this is something I'd consider doing again, and so got me thinking. I then went on to do my first sit through her for a sweet old Basset Hound and a cute cat. I view animals like people, they have their own quirks and preferences, and I always feel honoured to be able to share their space and be part of their lives, even for just a couple days, I am always so grateful. I'm currently working part-time at a pub in Attleborough, and dabble in hypnotherapy and tarot reading. I do like to get out and explore, however, when I am with your pets, I dedicate as much time as possible with them. I find being with animals so much fun, so it's something I look forward to doing. Before looking after your pets, I make sure we have discussed and shared anything that I need to know to ensure your pets are safe and well looked after.

About: Dogs have always been a big part of my life. I grew up with family dogs and was lucky enough to own a lovely Spaniel myself, so I understand just how much our pets mean to us. I also have spent eight years working alongside working dogs in the Civil Service, which gave me great experience around dogs with different personalities, needs, and routines. Above all, I genuinely love animals and enjoy spending time with them. Whether your dog loves long walks, playtime, cuddles on the sofa, or simply having company throughout the day, I’ll make sure they feel happy, safe, and well cared for while you’re away. Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine. I work Monday to Friday and have the flexibility of working from home on certain days. However, when I agree to look after your dog, I will ensure that I am not working so that I can give them the time, attention, and care they deserve. I enjoy being active and love going on long walks, so your dog will have plenty of opportunities for exercise, enrichment, and outdoor adventures. Your dog’s safety, comfort, and happiness are my top priorities. I have a secure, fenced garden where dogs can safely enjoy time outdoors, and I live just a 5-minute walk from a large open playing field, perfect for walks, exercise, and playtime. I take great pride in caring not only for dogs but also in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming home environment.
