About: I have extensive hands-on experience working with dogs through my previous professional dog handling background, which has given me confidence in caring for a wide variety of breeds, sizes, and temperaments. I am comfortable looking after energetic puppies, larger breeds, and older dogs who may need a gentler pace and extra patience. What sets me apart is the level of care and attention I give to every dog, I treat each one as if they were my own, ensuring they feel safe, comfortable, loved, and well looked after while in my care. I pride myself on being reliable, calm, and attentive to every pet’s individual needs. Due to Army commitments, my standard availability is weekends. However, with sufficient notice, I can often accommodate weekday bookings. My day typically starts early with a morning walk from 6:00am, followed by regular care and supervision throughout the day. Dogs in my care receive a lunchtime walk, an evening walk, and plenty of attention in between, with additional toilet breaks, garden time, and play sessions provided whenever needed. I tailor each dog’s routine to suit their individual needs, ensuring they feel comfortable, well-exercised, and cared for throughout their stay. Your dog’s safety and comfort are my priority. I live in an enclosed area with a small fenced garden for safe outdoor time and toilet breaks, and I also have easy access to the nearby old airfield for longer walks and exercise. Every dog in my care is treated like family and looked after in a safe, loving environment.

About: Dogs have always been a big part of my life. I have grown up with dogs and now own the most wonderful cavapoo, Callie, who is just over 1 year old. I have been looking after dogs in and around Cambridge for the last year and a half on other platforms and would love to meet new doggos and humans through Rover. We got Callie as a puppy and so are well aware of the needs of young puppies and I am more than happy to do dog training whilst your companion is in my care. My last dog lived to the grand age of 16 and so I am also sensitive to older dogs and making them comfortable. My work is flexible and so I can look after dogs as and when required with very few exceptions from weekly work commitments. Weekends and evenings are always free. I own my home which has a good sized garden with 6-foot fence. I live opposite a play park and so are not close to any busy road. With my own dog I am relaxed with where she goes - on sofas, beds, etc. She does sleep in a crate but we have also had dogs sleep on the bed with me as well.
“Karen and Mark are the perfect sitters/boarders for your dog. “Jackie and Amanda looked after our Westie Archie for over a week whilst we were away. They were absolutely fantastic and gave regular updates each day, it was clear Archie had an amazing time with them and their dogs. It was very reassuring to know he was happy and being cared for really well. We would definitely use Jackie again and recommend to anyone else. Thank you!”

Our dog got along great with Rai, he is definitely missing her a bit after going home! It was clear that our dog was in great hands and had a good time with Kinga.”

About: I’ve been around cats my entire life, so caring for them comes naturally. Growing up with cats has given me experience with a wide range of personalities, from confident and affectionate lap cats to nervous and senior cats with more complex needs. I understand that every cat is different and can adapt to different temperaments. Alongside my life long experience with cats, my policing background has shaped me into a dependable, observant and trustworthy person. As a cat sitter, this means you can rely on me to follow your instructions carefully and fully, to respect your home, notice any changes in your cats behaviour and keep you informed with clear updates. Trusting someone with your pet and home is a huge decision, and I take that responsibility seriously.
About: Hey! I am a 21 year old student veterinary nurse, completing my apprenticeship at a local practice. I have been dog walking and sitting for people locally for around 5 years, caring for them before or after work. I studied A levels in Animal Management and have worked since then at a doggy day care centre caring for over 20 dogs at once, whilst also at a farm. I also have two cheeky terriers. Therefore, I am used to a lot of mischief! I also own a lovely cat and have done numerous cat sittings too, staying at the clients house :) it’s fair to say, my life revolves around these four legged creatures- including rabbits and guinea pigs too! I am working full time at the moment, however I work both early and late shifts. Therefore I am happy to visit/ walk your pet before work, or if I’m on a late shift; in the evening afterwards. I am also available some weekends to stay over if needed!:) I currently am not looking after animals in my house due to my naughty terriers being enough to handle by themselves! They aren’t the biggest fan of new friends! However, I am more than happy to visit or stay at your house when needed!

“Friendly & confidence inspiring cat-sitter. Emily was kind enough to come & meet the cats and get keys/instructions beforehand. She sent us a photo (which we always like to have), and we came home to the cats being calm & relaxed.”

About: We’re Alice and Josh - a calm, reliable married couple. We’ve grown up with dogs. We currently have a friendly rescue Lurcher called Mona who we trained ourselves. We’re experienced with walks, enrichment, basic training and play. We work from home and love getting out before work, at lunch and after work for nice walks. We are keen to welcome more dogs into our home and introduce Mona to some friends. We work from home most week days and have flexible jobs. One of us is always at home with our Lurcher Mona. We go out for a morning, lunchtime and evening walk and love getting outside into nature around Sawston. We do enrichment and training as much as we can. We have a small secure fenced garden. We have plenty of nice walks on our doorstep around Sawston including Orchard Park, Babraham Forest and the Whittlesford loop. We live down a quiet driveway. We have a large open plan living room kitchen which is where Mona sleeps and at least one of us works, with space for another dog. Dogs are allowed on our sofa.

“We couldn’t be more grateful for the amazing care Danuta’s family gave to Olaf! She was so kind and flexible, even when we were running late, and didn’t charge us extra. Olaf clearly had a wonderful time — she came home happy and relaxed. We felt totally at ease knowing she was in such good hands. Highly recommend and would definitely book again if I am back in Cambridge! Olaf is going to miss you!”

“Dan & Gabriella are are just a delightful couple, who are flexible and communicative. My dog, Coco, is very much attached to me, but Dan soon won him over in an afternoon, so much so that he was straining on the lead to get into the house the following day! Now recommendations don't come better than from your own pooch! The next test will be an overnight at some point to see how he copes, but I'm sure his new best mate Dan will be reassuring for him!”

“I had a great experience with Carmen. She accepted my last-minute booking request, which was a huge help, and took very good care of my dog. She was reliable, caring, and made me feel confident that my dog was in good hands. I really appreciate her flexibility and would happily recommend her to others. Thank you!”

I’ve mainly looked after small and medium-sized dogs, but I also really like larger dogs and would be more than happy to care for one. I will treat your pet as a part of the family to give you peace of mind whilst away from them. ☺️ I have a fenced back garden and an old cat who keeps herself to herself now and is used to other animals coming and going :) we also have a 18 week old kitten called Mina 😍

About: I’ve had the pleasure of growing up with dogs of all breeds, ages, and personalities, giving me a wealth of experience and confidence in caring for them. Over the years, I’ve dedicated many hours to dog sitting and walking for friends and family, as well as taking on paid opportunities Currently I have almost full flexibility for walks, drop ins and house sits around Cambridgeshire before I relocate. Overnight house sits welcome with decent notice Unfortunately I cannot host pets at my own home. My main priority is to keep your pet safe and comfortable on walks and inside their home

“Thank you so much for looking after Nutmeg so well. She was very happy and healthy after her stay with you. You had very carefully not let her walk much as requested, as her leg is healing, and it is loads better, so thank you! ☺️”

“Excellent!! We used Steven for the first time and he exceeded our expectations. He was friendly, accommodating and a good communicator. We’re so thankful for his care of our Mika and would use him again. Thank you Steven! 😊”

“Rocío is our go to dog sitter for long stays this is the second time Rocío has helped look after Moose for more than a 3 week stay now! Very grateful for he flexibility on the drop off time this time around as we had some last minute scheduling changes by the airline. Rocío gets to know the pets under her care very well, and Moose gets to make some friends during his stay! Appreciate the regular updates and ‘photos and great comfort to know Moose in good hands when we are away.”

“May has watched Paavo couple times now, always with consistent and detailed updates of how he's doing on the day. I feel very comfortable leaving my senior dog with her knowing he is well taken care of.”

“Our Springer had a wonderful weekend with Chloe. He came home very relaxed and happy. She really looked after him with great walks, good company and he enjoyed being with her and her family. They treated him like one of the family. Chloe is very honest, her house is lovely, clean and tidy and she has a garden. Highly recommend.”

“Danuta and her family were so accommodating and kind, making sure Floki’s first night away from us was comfortable and reassuring. They went above and beyond to help him settle in and have fun. We’d be delighted for him to stay with them again — their location and flexibility made everything easy and stress-free for us.”

“Kinga was fantastic and I would recommend to anyone. She kindly took our late booking and asked lots of questions, making sure our boy would be as comfortable as possible. Our dog got along great with Rai, he is definitely missing her a bit after going home! It was clear that our dog was in great hands and had a good time with Kinga.”

“Our Retriever enjoyed a very happy stay with Sally, photos were sent every day. They looked after him with love and care and we couldn’t have asked for more. Excellent dog sitters and would highly recommend.”

“Caroline provided care for our dog during our recent holiday for a week. Our dog is a good boy but he has a tendency to bark and struggles with some other dogs. Caroline went above and beyond with making us feel comfortable about leaving him with her for the week and provided plenty of videos and photos of him during our time away. We are now totally confident in using her services and will do so next time we want to go away.”

“This was Digbys first stay with Stephen and it all went really well. Initially Digby was a bit anxious and unsettled but soon settled in and Stephen kept me well informed and updated. Digby really enjoyed the company of Stephen’s Cockerpoo Sam. I felt reassured throughout that Digby was in safe hands and I’m sure I’ll be booking him again soon.”

“This was the first time we have left Lola with anyone and we’re very nervous about doing it but Jacob really made us feel at ease. We received regular updates and photos on Lola and this helped to put our minds at rest. I would recommend Jacob to anyone looking for a dog sitter. He was brilliant - we will be using him again.”
