“We chose one of the hottest days of the year to leave our black and white border collie with Stacey. She was so good with him. He just wanted to stay cool in the hall and she gave him a fan and lots of water. Communication with Stacey was excellent from start to finish. As we were travelling a distance, we were unable to have a meet and greet but it was so reassuring when Stacey was keen to enquire about Robbie’s likes and dislikes before he boarded with her. I would have no hesitation in asking Stacey to look after Robbie if we are in the area again.”

“Sara was more than brilliant with our flat coated retriever. The multiple updates throughout the visit from photos to videos was so reassuring! Sara made Basil (our dog) feel so part of her family! He was very spoilt with lots of hugs, walks and playtime. The attention to detail was brilliant. Any small concern or question was put to me straight away instead of just being assumed. It really shows that Sara knows our dog and his routine / mannerisms. Only the level of detail and understanding you can discover by spending real time and investing love and care. Thank you for providing us the best ever dog boarding experience. We will be sending Basil to Sara for every small weekend away to every longer holiday from now on! Knowing with 100% confidence that our loved dog is in very good hands!”

“We were so worried leaving our 3month old puppy, but Guy and his family were so welcoming when we met them, and have a lovely home. We were given so much reassurance from as soon as we booked with Guy that Maverick would be fine. Guy gave us daily updates on Maverick and it looked like he had the best time too. We will definitely be using Guy again and would 100% recommend him and his family.”

“Thank you Alex for giving Chewy such a wonderful stay! Alex is a really diligent and considerate pet sitter; she really took the time to get to know Chewy - who is an elderly boy - ahead of his stay. During his stay she provided lots of updates that provided a lot of reassurance to us. We wouldn't hesitate to use Alex again.”

“We are extremely happy with the way Matthew looked after our dog while we were on holiday for a week. He sent daily news on how Oreo was doing which meant we were not worrying about him. We will definitely be using Matthew again.”

“Sarah was brilliant. Very accommodating about meeting up as I had concerns about how my dog would be with another dog. I got pictures and an update everyday which meant so much to the family knowing that he was being well looked after.”

“Will and Ruby watched my Boxer for 4 nights and did an amazing job. They even went above and beyond when our lead accidentally broke on a walk—replacing it immediately without any hesitation. Total professional, highly responsible, and excellent with high-energy dogs. Our dog was well loved and well cared for.”

“perfect lovely kind responsive sitter, sent me photos of how many kisses my dog was giving her so I knew he was really happy!! very chilled and happy when he got home and would highly recommend and use again thankyou Karolina xx”

“Knowing I was going away for 4 weeks on a work trip I needed to find a caring and reputable dog sitter for my elderly dog (16). I found Lilian & Chris and knew as soon as I met them that they would love and care for Tiger like one of their own. They gave regular updates, pictures and videos and I was put at ease to see him so happy and settled. He had the best 4 weeks with them and I can’t thank them enough. I will definitely use them again and highly recommend them to anyone needing day or boarding care for their small dog. Thank you!”

“Katt was everything we needed for Neville our English bulldog. So kind and gentle, it was his first stay away without us and he was a bit unsettled at night at first but with regular contact with us Katt and her partner got him through it. Nev also developed a sore ear and Katt took him to the vets to get him sorted. He received all the daily regular care with walks etc but I know that he had the extra cuddles that he would have been missing from home. I recommend Katt highly and would definitely hope that Nev could stay again.”

“Holly looked after ruby when i was on business in manchester. She was super easy to deal with and took great care of ruby. Location is right by the canal so lovely for walkies. Would absolutely recommend x”

“Mack loved his time with Madeleine and her boys! Madeleine sent regular updates and photos and communication was perfect from start to finish. Mack was made to feel right at home and he was happy and relaxed when we picked him up. He’s looking forward to his next stay! 🐶”

“I cannot recommend Lai Yan highly enough! Her attention to detail when it came to caring for George was incredible, he almost seemed disappointed to go home! Leaving your pet is always hard, but she made it so much easier by sending tons of pictures and updates throughout the stay. A huge bonus was her own sweet dog, who was a wonderful, calming influence on George. We will absolutely be booking with her again!”

“Second stay with Paige and Billy, our dog Daisy loved being in a caring and loving home, we received daily regular updates and photos where visible that she was happy, I highly recommend and already booked 3rd stay!”

“Michelle and family were brilliant with Bella. All the family love dogs clearly Bella got on very well with their dogs who are very nice Michelle took them all to the local dog park ( ross and friends ) and bella had a ball Have booked them again for other stays and highly recomend them”

“When searching four someone’s suitable to watch our two dogs, we had the choice of several sitters. Lucky for us Laura was prompt in her responses so we moved forward and met with her. After meeting Laura and her dog, we knew that’s where we would like our dogs to go because you can tell her love for her pets which we hoped would continue onto ours. She kept us up-to-date with the going on of our dogs with photos and texts, she was honest if there was an issue, and again, she was prompt with replies. As long as Laura continues to pet sit, we will be using her again.”

“I can’t recommend Jaime enough. I always know my cat Daisy will be well looked after and will be happy and relaxed while I’m away. She really likes him which is part of the battle and he takes the time to fuss and play with her, devising games to keep her thinking and not getting bored. Jaime is really responsive, highlighting any issues such as my automatic feeder getting unplugged and working with me to resolve quickly.”

About: I’ve taken care of cats for most of my life, having my own from the age of 6, and grew up around a variety of pets, including rescue animals. I often care for pets of my friends and family - cats, dogs, hamsters, rabbits, goldfish, you name it! I’m a huge animal lover and treat them all like they’re my own (even random cats on the street…)

“Karolina was amazing. It was so nice to know she was taking such good care of our cat, who is still quite young and needs a LOT of interaction! She provided really detailed updates and is also a really talented animal photographer who took some lovely pictures. The house was immaculate when we got home. Thank you for a fantastic service, Karolina - we appreciated it.”

“Jemma was amazing - very professional and the cats loved her. She kept us updated and put our minds at rest with lots of picture and video updates so we could enjoy our holiday! We returned to two very happy cats and tidy home!”

“Michelle is amazing, providing updates on her visits so I know the cats are happy. Even my extremely nervous boy let Michelle sit next to him! Thank you 😊 ”

About: Raised on a family farm in rural Ireland, animals of all shapes and sizes have come into my life. Cats have always been a staple companion and they have been present for as long as I can remember. I became a cat owner myself in 2014, adopting two rescues with my partner, doing so only after we had secured our own home. Both have since passed away (Jackson and Pepper) and now Blue is the king of the jungle. Cats are their own people. They judge fairly and will come to you and sit upon your lap should they deem you worthy of their attentions.

“Gwyn did an amazing job. She kept me up to date with pictures and info so I knew my cats were in good hands. And esspecially as she was popping in over Christmas, definately above and beyond”

“Alisha stepped in on very short notice to care for my cat Joy, and I couldn’t be more grateful. She was attentive, responsible, and clearly cared about Joy’s wellbeing. It gave me real peace of mind knowing Joy was in good hands. I’d definitely recommend Alisha to anyone needing pet care.”

“Oliver is absolutely amazing! Looked after my cat Poppy for 2 weeks, in house cat sitting. Kept me up to date with Poppys goings on everyday which was exactly what I needed. She’s happy and chilled and i will be using Oliver again, for sure! Poppy trusts him completely which is a godsend. Thank you Oliver!!”

“This is the third time Abigail has looked after our two cats and she is so brilliant with them. I think they prefer her to us 😆 Fab communication throughout our trip and she even very kindly helped clean up when one our cats brought in a rather gruesome gift 😖. many thanks again!”

“Tabitha is great. My cat was well cared for with plenty of food, water and attention. She sent me lots of photos which was reassuring and I can see she has a genuine care for animals. I would recommend her to anyone.”

“Emma is so fab. Such a lovely person to book with and chat to, plus she is so trustworthy and great with animals. Made me feel so much better about leaving my cat overnight, knowing Emma was going to check in on her in the morning ☺️ Thanks so much Emma!!! ❤️”

“Sara has been absolutely wonderful looking after our dog each week. From the start she made us feel completely at ease, especially as very anxious dog parents! She’s so kind, friendly and understanding, and it’s obvious how much she genuinely cares about the dogs she looks after. We always get lots of photo and video updates which really reassures us and lets us see how happy and settled our dog is with her. Communication has been brilliant throughout, and our dog clearly loves spending time with her. We feel very lucky to have found Sara and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend her to anyone looking for a caring and trustworthy sitter.”

About: I offer a pet friendly home with our un neutered Spinger Spaniel Billy and 2 cats, right next door to a large woodland (under 5 min walk). I have been taken care of dogs for friends and family for over 5 years. With my neighbours dog as regular visitor on weekdays and holiday visits from various other spaniels and terriers across the year all whom have been visiting since very small puppies. I’m experienced with puppies, middle age and older dogs. I work from home, so no dog are ever left alone and if they are staying over your pet will have its own room and bed. There are no furniture rules in this house we all cuddle up on sofas together and become one of the family. I walk in the woods 2/3 times a day for dogs that need to burn out that excessive engergy. However if your dog would prefer to just cudddle up with me on an electric blanket then this also if always on offer. I work from home everyday. As I have a spaniel, regular walks are part our daily routine, morning, afternoon and if it is a nice evening sometimes in the evening. I’m home most weekends and wouldn’t accept your request if i were to be away. I have a back garden that’s fenced in and big back doors so access when ever required. I own a friendly springer spaniel and 2 cats. I live next to the woods so if your dog does need some energy burning off, this can be easily be arranged.

About: Myself and my partner Tomek work in theatre and during time off we love to work with dogs. We have recently moved to the Leighton Buzzard area and I’m taking some time off theatre so I’m very free and flexible. If you chose me to look after your dog it’ll be getting all of my attention throughout our time together! During the height of the pandemic I trained and worked in a small dog grooming salon and Tomek took on dog walking duties, later working as a daycare supervisor at Bruce’s Doggy Day Care. Before joining Rover we have been offering dog sitting/waking services to many people in the village where I grew up. Through this we have gained experience in looking after dogs of all shapes and sizes, from a little old yorkie terrier to 3 young french spaniels. I have also grown up always having cats so have a lot of experience furry felines too. I am freelance and currently have a quiet period before my next theatre project so I am very flexible and can cater to your needs. If you choose me to look after your dog, it’ll get 100% of my attention. I have qualified as a dog trainer from the National Dog Training Acadamy which has given me a great understanding of how to work with dogs. Coupled with my year as a dog groomer's assistant I have a well rounded skillset that will enable me to provide your pet with the best care.

About: I have been a passionate animal lover and caretaker for over 5 years. Friends, family, and neighbors regularly rely on me to drop in, feed, walk, and play with their pets while they are away. I treat every animal as if they were my own, ensuring they get plenty of affection, exercise, and attention. Whether your dog loves long energetic walks or prefers cozy cuddles on the couch, I'm happy to accommodate their unique personality and routine! As a self-employed business owner, I have a highly flexible schedule that allows me to easily fit pet care into my daily routine. I can dedicate plenty of time to playing, feeding, and walking your dogs. My routine gives me the freedom to offer reliable checking-in services, ensuring your pet is never left waiting and receives undivided attention exactly when they need it. Safety and peace of mind are my absolute top priorities. I live in a pet-friendly household with a fully secure, enclosed garden where dogs can safely stretch their legs and play. Whether I am looking after your pet in my home or yours, I maintain a clean, calm, and hazard-free environment. I am incredibly attentive to a dog's body language to ensure they always feel secure and happy.
About: Having had my own dogs all my life, I genuinely love being at home with them. I re-homed a 7 year old Bulldog called Lula in November 23, who is an absolutely sweet and gentle girl. She is happiest when snoozing on the sofa. I work for myself from home, so can take breaks as and when I choose to go for walks or enjoy a sofa snuggle with the dogs. I have a large fenced/walled garden, and dogs in my care can have free roam out there (or indoors on the sofa if they prefer)
“Michelle took fantastic care of our 14-week-old puppy, Dora, while my wife and I were in the city for work. She organised a meet-and-greet beforehand, which was a great way to make sure Dora felt comfortable in her home. Her two dogs are incredibly gentle and were brilliant with Dora. Michelle was also great at keeping in touch. She checked in the day before with all the practical details and sent us lots of updates, photos and messages throughout the day, which really put our minds at ease. We picked up a happy, tired pup at the end of the day, which says it all! Thanks so much, Michelle.”

About: I had 5 years experience with my gorgeous rescue cocker spaniel Lilly. When she arrived I worked to train her and boost her confidence in a home environment after a sad start in life. I matched her energy and always had time to play and run around with her. Due to a relationship split, I don't get to see her but still have all the love to give. I have looked after dogs overnight, am happy to provide long walks, games, cuddles and have even taken pups to private fields for off lead fun! Dogs in my house are part of the family and would be allowed on my furniture (please state otherwise if that's not ok for you). I work from home 2-3 days of the week and have an hour lunch break for walks. During the day, I move between desk space and the sofa so can sit with your pup and keep them company if they need a companion. I'm happy to play fetch, tug or any other games to keep your family member entertained. I work occasional weekends and occasionally head out with friends but this would be planned in advance. I'm more than happy to take care of dogs over a weekend should you wish to go away. I will respect your meal and walk times and try to keep your routine going. I have a fenced in private garden, one gate wouldn't be suitable for really small dogs such as chihuahuas but I can adapt this with notice. Until i know your pups habits, I would accompany them at all times in the garden. I keep water bowls accessible in multiple rooms and make homely areas for your pooch to snuggle up in at any point of the day. I will always provide walks come rain or shine, however, I will not walk pups in the day if the temperature reaches 20 degrees and over.
About: Licence reference: CB/LANW/26/003325 Hi there — I’m Sara! Dogs have always been a huge part of my life, and caring for them is what I truly love. Whether you’ve got a playful pup who thrives on activity, a chilled companion who prefers gentle company, or a senior dog who needs a slower pace and extra care, I make sure every guest feels safe, loved, and happy while you’re away. Dog Daycare - Supervised playgroups matched by size, age, and temperament - Enrichment, walks, and structured rest breaks - Photo/video updates so you can follow the fun Dog Boarding - Comfortable, home-from-home stays with cosy sleep setups - Routine kept consistent (your dog’s own food, schedule, and comforts) - Medication administered and special diets supported Safety & Standards - Temperament meet-and-greet before the first visit - Vaccination and health requirements in place - Clean and secure environment My aim is simple: you relax, knowing your dog is getting plenty of love, enrichment, and cuddles — and will come home content and happily tired. Because I work from home, pet care is woven into my day. I already have a dog, so regular walks and toilet breaks are part of my routine and easily extended to guests. A typical day looks like: - Morning: Up to 1 hour walk, then breakfast. - Lunchtime: neighbourhood walk to stretch legs and reset. - Evening: walk, dinner, and a final let-out before bed. If not cold, my garden door is always open so your pups can go in and out as he/she wants. If not, regular toilet breaks are provided. I tailor frequency for puppies or seniors, can administer meds, and keep your dog’s schedule consistent. With supervised introductions, friendly dogs can socialise with mine; if needed, I’m also set up to keep dogs separate and calm. You’ll get updates throughout the day so you can relax knowing their needs are covered. Secure setup: I have a fully fenced yard for safe outdoor time. Friendly resident dog: Introductions are slow and supervised, and I can keep dogs separate if they prefer solo time. Flexible spaces: I use baby gates to manage zones. I can crate your dog on request to match training or provide a cosy den. Clean & hazard-free: I keep a tidy home, store food/chemicals out of reach, use pet-safe cleaning products, most of them are plant-based. Constant supervision: I work from home, so dogs get regular toilet breaks, walks, and check-ins throughout the day, plus structured rest. Health & wellbeing: I follow your dog’s routine (diet, meds, cues). I ask for up-to-date vaccinations and your vet’s contact for peace of mind. Comfortable sleep: Quiet, comfy sleeping areas—happy to use your dog’s own bed/blanket to keep things familiar. Clear communication: You’ll receive photo/video updates and honest feedback. I do a meet-and-greet before the first stay to align on needs and temperament. Out & about: Walks are on-lead unless you’ve approved off-lead time in a secure area. ID tags and safety checks are standard.

“Jemma was so great! I had a last minute work situation come up and was in a bit of a squeeze. We were very hesitant to leave Pablo with someone we’d never met before but Jemma put us at ease so quickly and Pablo was a big fan! The regular updates and photos were lovely to see whilst away; and we will definitely be rebooking with Jemma in the future. Thank you!”

“Jimmy loves Oliver and he is great with him. Oliver is great at staying in touch and sending regular updates and photos. I would highly recommend him for walks and dog sitting.”

About: Hi! I’m Guy, a massive dog lover based in Wing village, surrounded by beautiful countryside and plenty of lovely walks right on our doorstep. Dogs have always been a big part of my life: I grew up with a loyal German Shepherd, later had several energetic Border Collies, and now share my home with our calm and friendly Labrador. Over the years, we’ve also welcomed many friends’ dogs into our home while they were away, so I’m very used to caring for dogs with all sorts of personalities and routines. I was lucky enough to retire early, which means I have lots of time to dedicate to the things I enjoy - staying active, being outdoors, and spending time with dogs. I’m usually at home apart from short school runs for our two boys (aged 9 and 8), who both love animals and know how to treat them gently and respectfully. My wife also mostly works from home, so your dog will never be short of company, walks, or cuddles. We have a secure, fully fenced garden that’s perfect for safe outdoor play and relaxation. Since we have our own Labrador, it’s ideal if your dog is comfortable around other dogs and children. Whether your dog enjoys long adventures or prefers a gentle stroll and quiet naps, I’ll adapt to their personality and make sure they feel at home. At home full time other than school runs while my wife also regularly works from home. I generally walk the dogs twice a day while my wife also adds additional walks. Our garden is fully fenced as we have our own dog so understand the security it requires. Our dog does come upstairs although she does sneak up to watch my wife home work and prefer this in visiting dogs.
“Emma is such a nice person and generally loves dogs - she’s very professional, punctual and keeps you updated throughout. I’m so pleased I have found her to walk my pup, I would recommend her 100 times over. Thank you Emma x”

“Karolina took Yoshi on a wonderful walk this morning! Yoshi had a great time, he’s come back absolutely pooped and fast asleep as I write this review. Karolina is one of our go to sitters/walkers for Yoshi as she’s super lovely, always on time and sends great updates! Thank you ☺️”
“Matthew was great! He helped us with a last minute booking, he took our anxious, reactive fluff ball out for a long morning walk in the pouring rain (sorry!) Matthew was on time, super responsive and excellent with our pup. We’ll definitely book again :)”
About: I run my own full time dog walking and pet sitting business, Little Paws Pet Care 🐾 My background includes studies in Animal Care at school and at Shuttleworth College. I am Canine First Aid trained and have experience with senior dogs and looking after pets with medical conditions. I also have two rabbits named Eevee and Luna, they are rescue sisters and are 8 years old 🐰 Managing my business on a full time basis, some of my walk slots are already taken, but I do have limited availability. Aside from weekdays, I offer my services during the evenings and weekends, please be aware that these slots are filling up quickly! When pet sitting, I prioritise a safe and cozy atmosphere. I achieve this by thoroughly understanding and following the owner's instructions regarding feeding schedules, dietary restrictions, exercise routines, and any specific needs the pets may have. I always send regular updates, including photos and videos.

About: I’ve always had a huge love for animals and have hands on experience caring for dogs. I have a 6 year old Cockapoo of my own, so I’m very familiar with the day to day care, exercise, feeding, playtime, grooming and attention dogs need. I also currently work as a dog walker and pet sitter, caring for dogs with different personalities, needs and routines. I really enjoy getting to know each dog and making sure they feel safe, happy and comfortable while they’re in my care. I’m responsible, caring and patient, and I always take the time to understand each pet’s individual routine and needs. Whether it’s a walk, drop in visit, day care or house sitting, I treat every pet as if they were my own. 🐾 I am currently available full time, so please don’t hesitate to message me. I’d love to help and care for you’re pets and I look forward to hearing from you!😊 I make sure pets feel comfortable, safe and settled in their own home while their owners are away. I follow their normal routine as closely as possible, including feeding, fresh water, toilet breaks, walks, playtime and plenty of cuddles and attention. I take the time to get to know each pet’s personality and individual needs, whether they prefer lots of play and exercise or a quieter, relaxed environment. I also keep owners updated with messages and photos so they know their pet is happy and being well cared for. I always make sure their home is left clean and secure when I leave.

About: I am easygoing, but not at all a pushover. I like to think I have a firm but gentle touch, and have a good degree of empathy. Having worked with animals - from horses to cats to dogs to chickens! - my experiences of their psychology have stood me in good stead when making new four- (and two!) legged acquaintances. I've always thought dogs to be some of the best judges of character and human nature, and honestly, you just can't hide your own true self from their animal instincts. They see, they know and they will make up their own mind about you whether you like it or not! As for cats, well, they are an enigma wrapped in a mystery drowning in a tub of Dreamies. Would we change them? Never! So all I can say is, if I meet your dog/cat/chicken and they give their paw/claw of approval, what better endorsement is there? Dog walking, cat sitting and general animal care if my full time business, and I make myself available most weekends. I have no problem with short notice bookings and take extra care to always heed to concerns and needs of my clients. I don’t board dogs or cats at my own residence as this would be too stressful for my own cat boss, but am happy to housesit if available to do so. This has always proved to be a more agreeable arrangement as there is no place like home for a dog or cat who are as much a member of the family as any other relative!
“Jamie is fantastic. Duke was very happy to go on his walks and the feedback and support Jamie has shared in just a short amount of time has helped and has put me at ease. I feel very comfortable and happy that Jamie is our walker for Duke and I’m sure will bring Duke on leaps and bounds along his journey of development.”

About: I have been around animals all my life, we always had pets in the house growing up and as a teen I would often cat and dog sit for friends and family then I went on to study animal care at college for 2 years, volunteered at an animal shelter for 3 years and have had many kennel and cattery jobs since then and done plenty of dog walking on the side and currently still working part time at a kennels and have my own dog at home Having been around and worked with animals so much I enjoy being around them more than people, animals are my passion and I am experienced in reading animals body language and understanding them as best I can, I am also experienced in working with both puppies/kittens and senior dogs and cats I'm now currently working full time so I may not always be available during some weekdays, I try to keep my rover calendar updates around my work rota Since I have a dog at home that is not always a fan of other dogs I won't be taking care of dogs in my home and due to my work I no longer do overnight house sittings but I'm always happy to drop in and check up/hang out with your dog or cat when available and I'm happy to do dog walks. I understand having someone else in your home can be unnerving but I pride myself on being respectful of other people's property when in your homes. As for pet care I will do whatever tasks you ask, I love instructions so any info you have on your pet and their routine is much appreciated so I can offer the same level of care their owner usually would

Currently work Part time for the NHS and spend my afternoons and evenings caring for my animals and other peoples. Am available at weekends also and bank hols. I will even water the plants, put the bins out, open and close curtains. Safety is everything to me and keeping the pets happy and content.
About: I am an avid pet lover and I understand how important it is to know your pets are well looked after when you’re not around. My pets are family members and are well looked after and treated as an integral part of the family. Whilst working at Companion Care Vets, I was able to offer assistance in animal care, assist in operations, dispense and help administer medications, so I am well versed in the care of animals, especially those with additional needs. I was also able to offer my home to stray cats and dogs until they were rehomed. No dog or cat is too big or too small! I have cared for a few hour old kittens to Great Danes! I have a garden, transport and spare room in my house if animals wanted/required their own space. I work from home, so I am always around to shower your pet with love and spoil them with play time. It’s their holiday too! I have a self contained garden for toilet breaks and zoomies. I have a spare room in case the fur babies need their own space whilst staying with me.

“We are extremely happy with the way Matthew looked after our dog while we were on holiday for a week. He sent daily news on how Oreo was doing which meant we were not worrying about him. We will definitely be using Matthew again.”

About: I have taken care of my family dogs since I was 11, taking them on lovely long walks through local fields. I have also done pet sitting for neighbours and a pet sat for a family dogs since boarding business. I am currently working 2 part time jobs at the moment so I will have plenty of time most evenings to take the best care of your pets. I have a fully fenced garden to keep your pets safe and a friendly family (cocker spaniel) dog to keep them company as my own company.

About: I have had dogs since I was a child and have experience caring for them through every stage of their lives, from puppies through to their senior years. I currently have a Pomeranian of my own, which has given me continued, hands-on experience with daily dog care, routines and companionship. I work from home, so I’m at home throughout the day. This means I’m able to provide plenty of companionship, attention and care throughout the day I have a secure, fenced garden where dogs can enjoy unlimited outdoor time safely. I also have a friendly and playful female Pomeranian and two young children at home, so it’s important that any dog staying with me is comfortable and able to interact safely with children and other dogs.
“Stephen took wonderful care of my dog, Buddy, during his 5-day stay. Since Buddy is an older dog, I was specifically looking for someone experienced who could provide a calm home environment without other pets, and Stephen was the perfect choice. He was very caring and attentive to Buddy’s needs, especially during the very hot weather. Stephen made sure Buddy stayed comfortable throughout his stay. Buddy also sheds a lot during this season, and despite his house being full of Buddy’s hair, Stephen was very kind and understanding about it. He suggested to take Buddy to a groomer for coat shave. It showed how genuinely concerned he was for Buddy’s comfort and wellbeing. Overall, Buddy had a very comfortable, safe, and caring stay with Stephen. Thank you, Stephen, for taking such great care of Buddy while we were away on holiday.”

About: I absolutely love dogs and treat every pup as if they’re my own. I have personal experience caring for a large breed reactive rescue dog, which has given me a great deal of patience and understanding when it comes to dogs that need a little extra attention on their walks. I’m reliable, attentive and genuinely enjoy long walks, playtime and giving lots of cuddles. Since losing my own dog in March, I’ve got so much love to give, and I’d love to share it with your pup. Whether your dog loves energetic walks or prefers a slower sniff-around, I’m happy to match their pace and personality. My goal is always a happy, relaxed dog with a waggy tail (and a happy owner too!). As a previous Rover customer myself, I know how much regular photos and updates mean, so you can count on great communication and plenty of reassurance that your pup is in good hands. I’m always happy to do a meet and greet before to put you and your pup at ease. I run my own business and work from home regularly, which means I have flexibility throughout the week to fit pet care around my day. I already head out for a lunchtime walk most days, so I’m always happy to have some canine company along the way! On walks, I always keep dogs on a lead. When caring for your dog in your own home, your pet’s comfort and routine always come first. I’ll follow your instructions closely, stick to their usual schedule, and make sure they feel safe and settled the whole time. I’m attentive, patient and never take risks when it comes to someone else’s beloved pet. If your dog is boarding with us, they’ll be staying in a warm, welcoming home with a securely fenced garden, cosy beds and blankets, though you’re more than welcome to bring their own home comforts too! My husband and I are both at home regularly, so there’ll always be two of us around to keep your pup company and make sure they feel right at home.

“Lisa was absolutely fantastic with our dog, Rocky. From the moment we met her, it was clear she genuinely cared and took the time to get to know him and understand his personality and routine. Throughout our holiday, she sent regular updates, photos and messages, which gave us so much reassurance and meant we could completely relax knowing Rocky was happy and in such safe hands. He was incredibly well looked after, and it was obvious he received plenty of love and attention from Lisa and her family while we were away. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend Lisa to anyone looking for a caring, reliable and trustworthy dog sitter. Thank you so much for taking such wonderful care of Rocky!”
