Our cat Chewy had been missing 3 months when we booked Anthony to look after Bertie our other cat. But the RSPCA found her after our booking had been made. Luckily Anthony was able to come over and meet her before we went away. He was helpful with the process and we were able to update to add Chewy to the booking. He looked after them really well and I'm sure they appreciated all the cuddles they got while we were gone. Chewy and Bertie send their thanks. About: I’ve grown up with a dog in my family home for the past 14 years, so being around dogs has always been a big part of my life. I regularly look after a German Pointer for a family friend in my own home, with stays ranging from 2–3 days to as long as a month. This has given me lots of experience with both short and longer stays, as well as understanding the importance of keeping a dog comfortable, happy and settled. I genuinely love spending time with dogs and especially enjoy taking them for walks and giving them plenty of attention and company. I’m reliable, caring and would treat your dog as if they were my own. I understand that leaving your dog with someone new can feel daunting, so I’m always happy to keep owners updated with messages and photos while their dog is in my care. My priority is making sure they feel safe, comfortable and well looked after. I do work full time in a school in Bedford as an English teacher so my weekdays are quite busy until 3pm. I can leave work at this time most days so I am available after 4pm for the rest of the evening. With this, I have a lot of time during holiday periods and half term to care for your dog where I can be available for the full day. I am available most weekends for dog care and walks and I know a lot of amazing parks, lakes and routes around the Milton Keynes area for dogs both on and off the lead. I am only available to care for dogs in your home due to living in an apartment block with no garden and other living arrangements. However, as mentioned there are plenty of green spaces around my home to take dogs for walks and I can drive anywhere that I need to.

About: I’m currently working my way into the animal care industry. I’ve always loved animals, both wild and domestic. I have a lot of free time at the moment so I’d love to spend it wisely and productively so what better way to do so by pet sitting a neighbour in need.

I don’t think we are ever going to be able to return that love that they give us, but we can try with making the best choices for them! I would like to be that best choice for your dog and provide nothing but his/her best doggie holiday ever🐶 Firstly, I would like to make your dogs feel like home while you are away and make sure they don’t miss you too much😊 We can adapt to any requests such as eating and walking schedules, training and exercising instructions and we are comfortable with any special needs- be it a puppy or an older dog, any breeds and any size. Our dog is raw fed and we are really focused on healthy/natural feeding so we will adjust to any kinds of special feeding requests. Zippo who was our first dog and many of my regulars had the chance to meet him, was the best- natured and happiest dog an earth. He was a true goldie with that passion for life no one could ever copy but admire. He was our rock and kind of like a therapy dog too for all the nervous and shy dogs who stayed in our home. I named my little business after him and my horse Belle Larry is a 10 year old staffy cross and he is with us for 9 years so everything he knows he learnt it from Zippo. He is a lively and playful dog who is a great company and makes us laugh all the time, he loves other dogs and he is trained by my husband as they love obedience and trick training together. Owning a high energy dog means that we are spending a lot of time outside every day, so all dogs can happily be joining us and be part of the fun. We believe the tired dog is the happiest dog. We live right next to the best parks where there are many green fields and woodlands. Our house and garden is absolutely dog-friendly and well equipped with many toys. Also, at the end of the day it is not only about having fun when owning a dog; it is also about making sure we provide the necessary training for them so that we can live comfortably with them. That is why we will always follow your rules given in our house and watch them to not pick up any bad habits. I do have a horse who I go to every day so that would be the only time I leave the dogs at home. Our home is checked by the council every year for my licence renewal so everything is perfectly safe for the dogs, we have the necessary first aid equipment and have a risk assessment and healthcare plan in place for the dogs.

About: I have no special skills other than lots of love,cuddles long walks,and play time,to give your loved fur babies,I lost my shadow ( see photos ) at the start of the year and it broke my heart saying goodbye, he has left a big hole in my life,I cant bring myself to have another dog myself , as funny as it sounds I feel guilty at the thought of getting another dog, i cant replace him ! So I thought I can just give love and fuss to other fur babies, I will always be respectful or thier needs and wants,as owners instructions too, happy to give any medication they need , I will always clarify any details needed, I work full time,I have afternoons/evenings free,and I usually go for a walk in the evenings so why not help fur babies who may not be able to have an extra little walk or big walk ? I dont work weekends so am home more, so able to have over night stays, if your dog is used to being alone for a work day,except pop ins for a wee break lol, then I can do over night stays during the week too, also happy to stay at your own home so your dog feels more at ease and comfortable. Any dog that comes into my home,will be made to feel at home , loved,spoilt,happy to keep to any routines with walks food times etc, allowed to sleep upstairs with myself or downstairs if thats what they are used too, If staying in owners home then I respect your home and any belongings im not a messy person , and will give your dog as much or as little fuss as they want,

About: New to Rover - but definitely not new to pet care! I've always had pets and taken care of lots of friends & family's pets over the years whether that's house sitting or walks. I have also built up experience on borrow my doggy to expand my experience of different breeds! I work from home most days, and on the days where I don't - I'm only out for 1-2 hours at a time max supporting elderly people in the community before returning for at least an hour in between my visits so can provide frequent toilet breaks. I love a good walk and getting out the house & always have time to play & build up a special bond! I have a secure fenced garden at home and a house that is safe and suitable for a dog. Recently lost my own pet so there are no other pets in the house, but lots of space and love ready as a home away from home! If house sitting in your own home, I will always be responsible and take care of your home just as I would my own, and your pet just as if they were my own!

About: i've been around animals my whole life, cats dogs, rabbits and fish. me and my family have recently rescued a lovable cat we've dubbed nelson. im a highly active person and love to go for long walks. would love to have a canine companion to join me. Im currently between jobs so have plenty of time to care for pets. Im a very active person so willing and capable to take active dogs out for long walks.
