“I recently had the pleasure of having Hannah look after my dog, Bella, while I was on holiday, and I couldn’t be happier with the experience. From the start, Hannah was incredibly attentive, ensuring I felt comfortable and safe leaving Bella in her care. She kept me updated with regular photos and messages, which truly put my mind at ease. It was clear that Bella was happy and well-cared for, and I could tell she enjoyed her time with Hannah. I highly recommend Hannah to anyone looking for a reliable and caring pet sitter! I'm pleased we now have someone who Bella can be with when we are away. Thanks a million Hannah :-)”

“⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We honestly couldn’t recommend Rose highly enough! From the moment we booked with her, her communication was fantastic. She kept us updated throughout our time away with regular messages and lots of lovely photos, which gave us complete peace of mind knowing our dogs were happy, relaxed, and so well cared for. Rose is such a kind, genuine, and lovely girl, and it’s clear she truly loves animals. Our dogs absolutely adored her, and we came home to three very happy pups. She also went completely above and beyond by cleaning the house and even doing the washing before she left, which was such a thoughtful surprise and so appreciated after travelling home. If you’re looking for someone who will care for your pets as if they were her own, while keeping you updated every step of the way, Rose is the perfect person. We feel incredibly lucky to have found her and will definitely be asking her to look after our dogs again. Thank you so much, Rose!”

About: I had my own pet sitting business based in Winchester pre-covid. I have looked after groups of up to 8 large dogs for weeks at a time and have always dog walked. I have my own dog which I share with an ex-partner therefore will be available during the times I am not looking after him. I currently work full time, however I have the freedom to work from home and manage my hours therefore I have time to stay at the property all day or pop back and forth should I need to attend the office. I drive and can manage any pet sitting jobs needed around the times of having my own dog. When staying at a pet owners home, ideally I want to stick to the same routine as you in order to now upset your pets in anyway, I am happy to discuss with you any routines and make sure I have clear feeding/medication instructions.
About: Hi, my name is Nick and I live with my wife Louise, and Florence, our very good-natured pug. Florence gets on well with other dogs and loves to go for a walk with our furry guests. Louise and I have always been dog lovers and we've had dogs and other pets all our lives, mostly small breeds like pugs and dachshunds. We've cared for friends' dogs and pets while they've been away overnight or on longer holidays and have built up a very satisfied client list through Rover. We all live in a two-storey detached house with a fully enclosed garden in a village near the Norfolk Broads. There are excellent road links from Norwich and other parts of Norfolk. We love sharing our home with other dogs who need love and attention while their parents are away. Our guests keep Florence company and all the walks keep us fit and active. We're active people and we love the beach and countryside. If your dog prefers a more sedentary stay, we're good with cuddling and TV in front of the fire too. Your dog can expect a lot of attention and love 💕. We're used to dogs of all ages including the elderly. We can administer medication, eye drops, and anything else your pet needs. Ear cleaning and over-nose wrinkles are a specialty of mine! Let us know if your dog needs special attention or care, or has specific requirements and we'll do our very best to accommodate these needs. Our goal is to make your dog feel at home and loved while you're away, and to make you feel confident that they'll be cared for in a loving environment. We know the anxieties that come with leaving your dog while you're away. We'll take regular photos for you and send them to you through the Rover app. We're always happy to answer any questions or queries you have and do what we can to put your mind at ease so you can enjoy your holiday. The services we offer are: Feeding, walking, brushing, washing, cleaning nose and ears, and lots of cuddles. Certifications: • Accredited Dog First Aid and CPR Drop off and pickup: We can be flexible for your dropoff needs - early mornings and evenings are fine. Rover automatically applies an extended booking rate if care periods exceed a 24 hour period. Please see the help section for details: Help Centre > I'm a pet owner > Payments Please provide: • Enough food for your dog's stay • Your dog's basket/bet and blanket or bedding • Toys and treats • Collar/harness and lead. It is a legal requirement that all dogs must have an ID tag with their owner's contact details. Emergency contacts: Your Rover profile must be complete and include your contact details, a backup contact, and the contact information of the dog's regular veterinarian. I'm self-employed and work from home, or anywhere I can plug in my laptop. I've a very flexible schedule so there's plenty of time for one-to-one attention and playtime. Your dog's schedule can easily become mine. Louise works from home too so there's always one of us at home to care for your dog. We only care for one guest dog in our home but I'm very happy to care for two dogs in your home. Looking after other small pets and cats in your home is fine too. I'm used to feeding pond fish as well as the wild birds. I've looked after friends' guinea pigs too. I've been DBS checked and we're very reliable and trustworthy. We're very happy to meet with you and your dog before you trust us to look after them - a 'meet and greet' is essential prior to booking for the first time so we can understand your dog's needs.
“Thankyou so much to Georgia, we came home to two very happy and contented dogs. Would love for you to look after them again and will be going through our diary to find possible dates.”

About: I have always loved all animals since I was a very young girl. I spent all my time outside with horses, chickens, dogs and wildlife. I have experience working in a rescue shelter, petting zoo and boarding kennels giving me a wide range of knowledge on all kinds of animals and their care needs. In 2014 at 21 I started a dog walking business which was a great success. I stopped to have my two children and now want to come back offering a in home visiting service. I work closely with dog trainers, volunteer time to training groups to help owners train dogs to find missing people. I have previously owned my own Pets As Therapy dog and know the benefits pets have on people so they only deserve the very best care. Pet care fits my lifestyle really well as I work it around my 2 children and I'm never too far away from clients or my children and pets. Working around my partners hours I can provide childfree visits. I will ask you about your normal routine to make sure that I can provide pet care to the standard you yourself would provide. I like to know what each animal likes to provide a positive high quality experience

“I cannot recommend Chloe highly enough. She looked after my dogs for five days and they could not have been happier under her care. She lavished so much affection on them and took them for long walks and was a fantastic custodian! Thank you, Chloe!”

“Jordan was amazing house sitting for us and took such great care of our 3 little dogs! She sent regular updates, photos, took them out on walks and made us feel really as ease knowing our babies were being well taken care of! It’s clear to see the dogs loved her💞”

About: I’ve had dogs all my life from Dachshunds and terriers through to rescues and Labradors. I’ve recently retired and lost my companion Charlie so I’m hoping to invest my love in your precious one now. I’m recently retired so expect to spend all day with your pet, making them part of my life while they are with me. I live in a city centre maisonette and have a small secure outside space for fresh air, but there are also parks near me and all the smells and excitement of the city. I follow whatever exercise routine and rules you have at home. Pets can come on the sofa for cuddles if you allow that, and can either sleep downstairs or upstairs on the bed with me.

“Sophie was fab! Our dog had such a lovely time with her and was well and truly spoiled. She kept in communication with us and sent us loads of gorgeous photos! She bought him treats, played with him lots and I felt totally comfortable leaving our dog with Sophie. Bonus she is a vet nurse and qualified with dog behaviour as our dog can be nervous and sometimes reactive. She left our home so tidy and I wouldn’t hesitate to book again. Thank you so much!”

“Imogen did a brilliant job looking after our Greyhound Bob. I know he was happy because he'd eaten his lunch and he tends to not eat eat when he's anxious. Imogen went above and beyond to organise Bob sitting as I was struggling to find anyone who could do the hours. Would definitely book again and recommend.”

About: I have looked after many pets in my time from friends to family pets and would like to do it more frequently as a lover of animals. I am out of education and saving up for university in September. I work throughout the week in hospitality so I can work around schedules very easily. As i look after mostly dogs, obviously dependent on the age and breed i will take on daily walks or runs even in parks or beaches near. As my shift schedules are short i spend a lot of time hanging out and playing with pets. I am also extremely active so can made due with whatever needs they may have.
“Abigail looked after our dog for us while we were on holiday and he had the best staycation with her and her dog. We felt reassured he was having the comforts of a home away from home and were kept up updated with photos during his time there. Would definitely recommend Abigail she has a passion for dogs and our dog Reggie settled very quickly with her in her home! Abigail was brilliant and accommodating particularly as Reggie needed some extra care whilst he was recovering from a recent operation.”

“Lauren is a lovely lady... Bonnie felt comfortable in her presence immediately & soon settled down for cuddles... Lauren arrived at the agreed time & was very understanding of Bonnie's needs...We were updated with photos in a WhatsApp group throughout the day & Bonnie looked very happy... Would not hesitate to book Lauren again!!”

“David looked after our spaniel and elderly cat for 10 days. He did exactly that! Doug (spaniel) bonded well with David, he was even allowed to sleep with him (as he does us). Our elderly cat Millie is a rather solitary and shy soul however seemed perfectly herself when we returned home. I would recommend David to look after your pets, he even watered the plants for us. Thanks David and we hope you enjoyed your stay with our pets. June & Mark 🐾🐾🐾🐾”

About: I have a lifetime of experience caring for animals, including my own rescued cats, dogs, and horses. I have looked after three horses on loan, providing daily care, feeding, grooming, and attention to their individual needs. I have rescued and cared for two cats and have owned two dogs, giving me hands-on experience with different personalities, routines, and care requirements. I have also worked at Redwings Horse Sanctuary, supporting the care of horses and running wellbeing activities that connected people with horses. Alongside my animal experience, I run my own small business offering therapeutic forest school work with children and nature connection experiences. This has developed my skills in patience, responsibility, observation, and creating safe, supportive environments for both people and animals. I hold an Enhanced DBS check and I am experienced in working responsibly with both children and animals. I am comfortable providing care such as: • Feeding and maintaining routines • Administering medication where required • Caring for animals with different needs and temperaments • Providing companionship, attention, and reassurance • Looking after animals in a calm, respectful way • Drop in pet sitting, or longer stay-in house and pet sitting if required I understand that pets are part of the family and aim to provide reliable, compassionate care that gives owners peace of mind while they are away. I currently work part time two days a week in a forest school monday and Friday, but have availability the other days, evenings and weekends. Safety, trust and caring for your environment, home and pet is paramount. I have an Enhanced DBS and have a wealth of experience and references.
“Absolutely amazing, cannot rate her enough. She was incredible with Baylee who is a very nervous dog. She won her round so quickly and I didn't worry once for the holiday knowing she was in safe hands. She got spoilt for walks and we were updated the whole time with lovely photos of her out having fun. Will definitely to using her whenever we go away.”

“Imogen looked after my cats for the first time recently, and I could not recommend her more highly. I have seven cats, all with very different personalities and needs. Some are extremely high-maintenance, some are incredibly friendly, others are very shy, and three of them have epilepsy and require close monitoring. It can definitely be a bit overwhelming for someone who isn’t used to a busy multi-cat household, but Imogen handled everything amazingly. From the moment she came for a meet-and-greet, it was obvious how naturally good she is with animals. Two of my cats immediately gravitated towards her, which I think says everything, as cats are usually very good judges of character! All of the cats absolutely loved her, and I felt completely reassured knowing they were in such caring and capable hands. She was calm, attentive, and clearly very experienced and comfortable around cats with different temperaments and medical needs. I’m so grateful for the care she gave my babies, and I’ll definitely be using her services again in the future. I’m very happy with the service Imogen provided and would wholeheartedly recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy and caring cat sitter.”

Thank you very much, the animals were obviously well cared for and happy. Dogs taken out most days and Jon and Jen showed real care and attention to them. House was lovely and clean on our return. Impressed that although we said they could leave once we were back in the country they insisted on staying and handing over in person. Can recommend totally.
Jon and Jennifer took great care of our dog. It looks like he has had his own little holiday while we were away. They’ve taken him on some lovely walks and provided plenty of stimulation for him. They have kept our house in perfect order and we are very glad we found them.

Madeline was absolutely fantastic while we were away for a week, looking after our two dogs / one cat. Excellent communication and updates throughout, and all the animals were very relaxed and happy when we got home. Our two dogs have very different temperaments, one is very friendly and wants to be out and about, the other is a very nervous old rescue greyhound who takes some time to relax and feel comfortable with new people. Madeline was able to cater to both their needs excellently, and by the end of the week our greyhound was comfortable and asking for fuss and following her around! A testament to Madeline’s patience and understanding. We wouldn’t hestitate to book Madeline again, especially now that bond has been formed. Not only that, but we came back to an immaculately clean and tidy house! Thanks Maddy!
