About: I have spent many overnights at homes while providing pet care. The durations of these stays have been up to a week. I do very well with following clear directions for feeding, medications, as well as other pet care needs. This includes affection and playing— I absolutely love dogs and cats! I am a teacher, which of course is a very busy job. However, I do not work over the summer, which means I have lots of flexibility in these months. I am also available during most weekends! I care for pets in my clients’ homes by following instructions regarding feeding, medications, going outside, as well as anything else that may be necessary! When owners are gone, I recognize it is best for the pets to keep their routines as consistent as possible! I respect any rules clients may have for their pets (e.g. where around they house they are allowed, any dietary limitations, and any necessary precautions to take so that the pets stay safe!)

About: Hello! My name is Marielle and I'm an animal lover. I grew up on a farm and have had many dogs, cats, horses and other pets over the years. I've worked and lived at a dog boarding facility where I helped with day to day operations, doggy day care, and was in charge of all off-site hikes! I've also walked dogs more casually, using online apps, and doing house calls and walks around the neighborhood. For the past ten years I've volunteered at animals shelters working with both cats and dogs, doing walks, cleaning up, feeding and bathing, plus some basic first-aid and medical services. My job has flexible hours and I'm available to house/pet sit overnight, stop in and check on your furry friend while you're at work, do a 30 or 60 minute walk, or take them on a hike if they have lots of energy and are well-behaved!
