Certified Professional Dog Trainer
Throughout my career, I have developed a deep understanding of canine behavior and training practices by working in diverse settings. From shelter environments to private homes, I have honed techniques that address individual needs while fostering trust and confidence in every dog I train. Working closely with both animals and their owners has reinforced the importance of empathy, patience, and clear communication in achieving lasting results.

What to expect
Consultation
A typical dog training consultation lasts about 60–90 minutes and begins with a discussion of your dog’s history, daily routine, and specific behavior concerns. I will then observe your dog’s behavior and discuss training techniques for the behaviors. Depending on the issue, I may gently test responses to basic cues (e.g., sit, recall), observe leash manners, or gauge reactivity in a controlled setting. Notes are taken on temperament, motivation (treats, toys, praise), and triggers.
Sessions
Owners are guided through hands-on practice, and a personalized training plan with clear goals and homework provided. The owner is coached through the techniques to ensure understanding and confidence. Focus is typically on foundational skills or immediate issues, like eye contact, name recognition, or calming behaviors. The session will also include recommendations for follow-up and additional support.
