About: I can still remember getting my first pup when I was around 5 years old. He was a lot a work! But that didn't stop me. I have had experience with a variety of breeds and ages. I started working for a dog walking/sitting company and from then I went on to get my Veterinarian Assistant Certificate. I was an Animal Control Officer for 3 years and now currently work in a Animal Shelter environment on most weekends. From walking to feeding to bathing to giving medications and of course lots of love you can trust your dog with me. I'm currently at home during the week with my two children, (2.5 & 4) and work every other weekend. Pet care in my home would be from Monday- Friday, time and amount of days is flexible. Also could fit in a few weekends here and there if needed. I have a large partially fenced in yard. However, for safety I would prefer not to let your dog off leash and most likely do more walks. I have a 2.5 year old daughter and a small dog to keep your pup company. They are excellent in playing but also love their cuddles and comfort. I am also okay to crate your dog if need be.

About: I was born with a love of animals. As a small child I had cats. My grandmother got me into show dogs when I was in Elementary school. I helped her care for Schipperke she bred. I've owned a horse, dogs, cats, fish. I've worked on friends farms. My friends rely on me to pet sit for them in their homes when they go on vacation. I'm currently on vacation and open to meet your pets schedules and needs. When I go back to work I will be on call. Scheduling won't be an issue. I prefer to do pet care in your home where your pet feels safe and comfortable. I enjoy walking around the neighborhood or going to the park for a good run.

About: I have owned and raised dogs and cared for dogs for at least a decade. I’ve been a proud parent to a Siberian Husky and two Australian Shepherds. One of my shepherds has had a litter in the past and I successfully cared for that litter. I am on summer break as a teacher. I am available everyday in July and August. During the school year I am available weekends and nights. I ensure pets have a positive experience by taking dogs on walks, to the dog park, out in the backyard for playtime, and games inside the house. Your member of the family would be treated very well and we are able to care for dogs that require special attention. Your dog would not go more than 2-4 hours without someone supervising them. When I was little, I always knew I wanted to work with animals in some capacity. My journey with pet care began when I was 12 years old. One of my neighbors had a black lab puppy that they never let inside & never had company. One day, I walked up to their door, knocked & asked them to hire me to walk their dog everyday. I never looked back. Since then, friends, family, neighbors & strangers alike have entrusted me with all of their pet's needs. When considering booking with me, please keep in mind that I also work 35 hours a week, giving me plenty of time to pay attention to your pets. I do not have breed restrictions & am happy to work with any special needs or requirements your pet may have. FOR ALL NEW CLIENTS, I do require a meet & greet before booking to ensure that everyone (including your pet) is comfortable and to be able to ask/answer any questions we may have for each other. I've found this helps to ensure trust between all of us. Please be upfront with any triggers or quirks so I know exactly how to take care of your pet. *The meet & greet is a FREE service to ensure we're all a good fit for each other before the stay. For the time being, I do not offer boarding in my home. During my stay with your pets, I provide the utmost care & attention to your pet & their needs. About: I’ve had all kinds of animals my whole life. I am currently a vet tech major! I love animals and am very engaged with them! I currently have two labs- a chocolate and a black but I know other breeds besides labradors. I’m very comfortable with any size dog. Any kind of service needed I can provide. I can provide baths, walks, playtime, giving medication and feedings.I can also text you updates if you’d like. If you have any other animals besides dogs I am comfortable around them as well! If you have any questions just ask! I currently will be doing this full time! I take care of my own animals needs everyday so it won’t be any change for me to help with yours! My overnight stays consist of roughly 12 hours at night! I can also do drop in visits throughout the day. I want your pets to be as comfortable as possible! I like to do a meet and greet first so we can go over everything!

About: I have had dogs since I was 6 years old but as an adult I’ve had my own for the last five years. I have a one and a half year old Labrador Retriever and a Six year old German Shepard Malinois mix. I make sure to take my dogs for walks at least once a day and we also go for weekly adventures. To me having dogs brings a whole new level of companionship to life. They are my whole world and having the opportunity to care for other peoples furry friends would be something that is so special to me! I currently am self employed so most of my day is spent at home working on my laptop! If your pupper follows a certain schedule I would be more than happy to make sure it is followed. I think it is extremely to maintain a pets routine! For my dogs we get up everyday around 7 and then I let take them outside to go potty, following that we eat breakfast, go for a walk, and then about every 2/3 hours I take them potty, then at night they eat dinner at 5:30, followed by either another walk. If there is a routine that your pet has I would be more than happy to make sure it is followed!

About: As stated above, I am a Veterinary Technician that has dedicated my career and education to animals. I have made the switch to becoming a human nurse-which I work casual at the hospital. I miss seeing animals everyday I would love to spend my time caring for your fur babies! I can apply my knowledge to handling any cat or dog by understanding their behaviour, and knowing the proper handling techniques. I also feel comfortable medicating and caring for any animal regardless of their lifestage. If needed, I can assist in providing nail trims and ear cleaning if products are supplied and animal is agreeable with one person providing such care. I have some shifts set ahead for working in the hospital, but I also do have a lot of openings in my schedule. Please let me know if you think I would be a good match to care for your pet! I am currently working casually at the hospital as I have taken some more classes that begin in the fall. I would love to fill the gaps in my schedule with caring for animals. As I have worked in both general animal clinics and emergency animal clinics, I am very aware of any risks that could present themselves while caring for animals. Knowing these risks, I am hyper alert in caring for any animal safely.

About: I’m a certified dog trainer. Member National Association Dog Obedience Instructors, 6 year alumni with Susan Garrett’s Recallers, 9 years as trainer for large box store. I’ve dog sat for the past decade and have customers that come from over 3 hours away. I’ve previously bred dogs and fostered for over 30 years. I’m self employed as a trainer but also have always included dog sitting for clients who didn’t want to kennel their dogs. I do go to clients homes for training or dog walking but I am not gone for long hours so dog/cat sitting works great. I can schedule my days so both boarded dogs and training clients get all the attention needed. I have a lovely quiet farm that is the perfect place for animal care. Technically I do not have a fenced yard by I do have large indoor arena that dogs can safely play off leash in a completely secure area. I started pet sitting because I had clients that had dogs that would not have been ok in a commercial kennel. I am a perfect situation for anxious or elderly dogs. Also a great situation for puppies who may not thrive in a kennel. My own dogs are great and use to dogs coming and going. I moved to Brockville from Durham region and although many of my regular dogs still come and stay with me I do have availability and would love some regular dogs from this area.

About: My name is Katie, I’m 23 years old and was a registered vet tech for 2 years. I’m from the south of Ottawa and have owned my own kennel for 5 years. I’m experienced and well-versed in looking after dogs, cats, etc. I own two dogs, three cats and two horses.
