About: I've been a lifelong dog owner and have cared for dogs most of my life. I've frequently dog-sat for friends and family over the years, including feeding, walking, administering medications when needed and providing lots of attention and playtime. I work from home full-time, so your dog will receive plenty of supervision, attention, and companionship throughout the day. My partner is retired and also home most of the time, so there is almost always someone here with the pets. Because of this, dogs are rarely left alone and get lots of care, playtime, and comfort during their stay. Dogs under 40 lbs. please. We provide a calm, safe, and welcoming environment and follow each dog’s normal routine for feeding, potty breaks, walks, and playtime. Our home has a fenced backyard where dogs can safely enjoy time outside. We also have a friendly 5-year-old dog who is low-energy and well socialized. She enjoys the company of other dogs but is also respectful of dogs who prefer their own space. Your pet’s safety and comfort are very important to us. We introduce dogs slowly, supervise interactions, and treat every dog in our home like part of the family. We are also happy to send photo updates so you can see how your pet is doing while you’re away.

I work from home full-time and have Fridays off. My schedule is flexible, so I can easily accommodate your dog's routine and needs. The only regular times I'm away are for school drop-off and pick-up, and those outings take less than an hour. On weekends, our family stays close to home, so your dog will continue to receive plenty of attention, exercise, and care rather than being left alone for extended periods. Your pet's safety, comfort, and routine are my top priorities. I take the time to learn each dog's individual needs, including feeding schedules, exercise, medications, and preferences, so that I can provide the best possible care. My two dogs love making friends, but my foster experience has taught me to introduce dogs carefully, provide separate spaces when needed using gates or crates (if crate-trained), and never leave unfamiliar dogs together unsupervised. I'll follow your instructions closely and keep you updated with regular photos and messages so you can enjoy peace of mind while you're away.
