“Lucas is an excellent sitter. I was given multiple pics and updates daily, which I really enjoyed. Lucas was extremely attentive and took the very best care of my pup. I felt completely at ease while Lucas was at my home taking care of everything. I will 100% ask Lucas to take care of my pup any time that I leave town!!”

“Megan has been awesome with my dog. She is so nice, responds quickly to messages, sends great pictures, and asks plenty of questions to ensure she provides the best care. It is such a relief and I am so thankful to have someone take such good care of my baby when I am away.”

About: I have been caring for animals my entire life. When I was 8 I started my own dog walking business to raise money for charity. More recently, I have been house and farm sitting for many people. I am comfortable taking care of cats, dogs, small pets, livestock, chickens, and whatever other pets you may have. I love animals, and I will make all of your kids feel loved while I'm there! I am currently a graduate student at William Woods University, getting my MBA. I just graduated with a degree in Equine Administration. I am working 20 hours a week as a graduate assistant. My schedule is very flexible, allowing me to stop by the pets regularly. I care for all animals as if they were my own. I ensure that all animals have the same routine that they would have with their owners. Not having their people home can be very hard for pets, so I like to do everything I can to keep them calm, happy, and loved until their humans come home.

About: I’ve had a deep love for animals since I was a kid, and I’ve been caring for dogs since I was 7 years old. My first dog was a beloved member of our family for 12 wonderful years, and since then we have welcomed three more pups into our lives. One of them is my own, Nala, a pitbull mix who is truly my entire world. I have experience with dogs of all ages, including geriatric dogs and those needing regular medication. In addition to dogs, I’ve had rabbits since I was 11. My current bunny, Minnette, will be 14 this August after losing her bonded partner in 2021. I’ve also regularly cat sat for friends and family and am comfortable with feline care. Over the years I’ve rescued many dogs and volunteered at the Animal Protective Association, also known as APA, in St. Louis where I gained hands-on experience with a wide variety of breeds and temperaments. I have a particular interest in dog body language and behavior. I love learning how to make animals feel safe, understood, and happy. Whether your pet is playful, shy, elderly, or energetic, I will be attentive to their unique needs and treat them like family. I just graduated college at Mizzou, and am taking a gap year before I begin graduate school next fall! This means I have plenty of time and my schedule is wide open to care for your pets. <3 I have always been an avid animal lover-- not even just dogs, but all sorts of pets! I have had my bunny since she was 1 year old and I was 11, and she is now about to turn 14 next month! I have also had dogs since I was 7 years old! I grew up with my childhood dog, Louie for 12 years. Now, I have my own dog, Nala. I have had her for about 3 years now, and I consider myself to be a helicopter parent (ask anyone haha)! With that being said, I am ALWAYS paying attention to details, instructions, and am very vigilant about making sure your pet is getting everything they need. As I do with my own pets, I will give that same attention and dedication to yours!

About: I’ve taken care for cats my whole life! I also have worked at a dog day care where we feed, trim nails, walk and train dogs! I’m currently available anytime till I go back to college! I can come whenever it’s convenient to you and your pet! I can even do last minute! I will play with your pet and take them for walks! I will give it as much love and attention as possible while you’re away!

“The Girlz and I love Maia! From the meet and greet to her first stay with the girlz she was kind, courteous, caring and attentive. I provided her with an overload of information on a print out sheet regarding the girlz details and she was appreciative for the detail and executed their needs accordingly as reequested. She was a great communicator and provided me with pics and updates during the stay as requested. We will definitely request Maia again in the future for both overnight stays and drop-in visits.”

About: From puppies to full grown I have house trained and led dogs to follow my lead and maintain a calm attitude. As a volunteer at KC pet project years ago, I took care of dogs and cats alike. As a cook, I maintain between 30 and 40 hours of work per week. On a few days I have the entire day off and can watch animals for the entire day. My schedule fluctuates, with varying nights and days open throughout each week. In my apartment I have the capacity to bathe, groom, and care for up to three dogs at a time. Right now with no pet food, kennels, or litter boxes, these will need to be provided if necessary. I can fill up water dishes, and lay down a towel for the one bedroom/bathroom space. Our living room is shared with 3 other roommates and two other dogs.

“Brielle was such a great sitter for our dog! I know she loved on our sweet girl just as much as we had hoped! I felt at peace knowing she was taken well care of during our week long vacation!”

“Caitlin was wonderful! She came by to meet our 5 cats the same day that she agreed to the booking and was so patient and receptive to each of our animals needs. She took time with them and gave them space to let them come to her and we were pleasantly surprised at how friendly everyone was with her and how comfortable they seemed around her. During the visit she sent pictures and went above and beyond the care instructions, washing the dishes used for their meals, replacing our tissues, and leaving the house better than when we left. She communicated throughout the entire process and made us feel safe in leaving our felines and our home in her hands.”

About: I've been the go-to dogsitter for my friends and family for nearly a decade. Over time, they recommended me to others, and dog-sitting became something I'm passionate about. I've cared for dogs of every size from a pomeranian to a great dane. I have experience with puppies & potty training and caring for elderly dogs. It can be hard being away from your pets when away, as I've experienced with my own dog. I'll do everything I can to make you and your pets feel as happy and comfortable as possible. I'm always a text or phone call away and am more than willing to send updates throughout the day. Since I am a remote writer (and homebody), I can stay at your home and make sure your pets are being watched & cared for 24/7. Please feel free to ask any questions you may have! I look forward to meeting you and your pets! As a remote writer who would rather spend all day with dogs than anything, I'm free 24/7 , 7 days a week as long as I have some notice. Whatever your pet walking or feeding schedule may be, I'm happy to adapt to keep your pets routine. I prioritize your pet's safety and comfort while respecting your home. I will follow your specific instructions and keep your home secure. I’m also happy to provide updates and photos to keep you informed and at ease while you’re away.

“She was great with our fur babies! Lots of updates and pictures and communication! Will be repeat customers any time we need a sitter!”

About: I am an animal science major and absolutely adore animals! I grew up with 2 dogs and have taken care of friends dogs and cats over the past year while also house sitting. I am working part time at a horse clinic while also going to class. I have time in between classes to take out, feed or play animals and after work I can attend to them as well. I live in an apartment so I will not be able to do over nights but would love to take your dog on a walk and play with them to meet their exercise needs!

About: What sets me apart as a pet sitter is the way I care for your pets like they’re my own. I have hands-on experience with animals of all ages and temperaments—from playful puppies just learning the ropes, to senior pets who need a little extra patience and care. I’m comfortable with giving medications, adjusting routines for older pets, and helping with basic puppy training like crate time and leash walking. I take the time to learn each pet’s unique needs and personality, so they feel safe, loved, and comfortable while you’re away. Whether it’s belly rubs, slow walks, or just quiet company, I’m there to make sure they’re happy and stress-free. Pet care is a natural part of my daily life—living in the country with my family, animals are truly at the heart of our routine. We have a spacious, fenced outdoor area where dogs can safely run, play, and explore. Our own crew includes a friendly dog, three playful cats, a curious bunny, and some happy chickens—so we’re used to all kinds of personalities and care needs. My two children absolutely love giving gentle “lovins” and playtime to our furry (and feathered) guests, and they’re always excited to welcome new animal friends into the mix. Whether it’s making sure a senior dog gets their meds or helping a puppy burn off energy, we approach every day with patience, kindness, and genuine joy for what we do. Caring for animals fits right into our family rhythm—it’s not just part of our schedule, it’s part of who we are. In my home, pets are treated like part of the family. We live in the country with plenty of fresh air, room to roam, and a fully fenced outdoor space where dogs can play safely and freely. Inside, pets have cozy spots to relax and are never left feeling isolated—whether it’s curling up on the couch or enjoying quiet time away from the action if they prefer. We follow your pet’s usual routine as closely as possible—mealtimes, potty breaks, walks, medication, and cuddle time are all handled with care and attention. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I respect your space and your pet’s comfort zone. I make sure their daily routine is kept consistent and stress-free, from feeding and potty breaks to walks and companionship. Whether I’m stopping in for a visit or staying overnight, I keep communication open with photo updates and notes, so you always know how your pet is doing. My goal is to make sure every pet feels safe, loved, and relaxed—whether they’re in my home or staying in theirs.

“Kylee did a GREAT job and was wonderful with my 2 pups!! She also was extra helpful with a few things around the house as well while we were gone. She allowed my pups to sleep with her and cuddle up to her on the couch. We will DEFINITELY be using her again!!!”

About: Growing up, I was a part of a program called Human Animal Bonding in Colorado, where I was taught how to connect top dogs emotionally, socially and verbally and use those skills to apply to real life situations, breaking me out of my social, insecure, neurodivergent shell. I've grown up with six big terriers, so I know my way around big, cuddly, dogs. My best friend is a German Shepherd named Ziva. I currently work part-time shifts that can go from 7-2 (Tues), or 7 - 11 (Wed), or 7-4 (weekends). I wish to pursue my dog-loving passions and possibly turn it into a career, alongside with my first responder training, and I hope starting Rover will do that. I take care of big dogs, numerous cats, and six other types of animals at home, so I can't have other animals at home due to the unfamiliarity. I am looking for extra activities, ones that consists outside of work and home because that's all where I am ever at these days. I just moved to Missouri, and I hope to find show the love I have for animals to places beyond my home. I have all kinds of necessary dog/cat accommodations. I have crates if needed, toys, extra food, leashes, etc. In my home, I have two big dogs who are trained to stay on 30 acres of property, they co-exist with barn cats and other various animals. Because of the other critters on the land, I do have to let them outside every time I leave the house. I had a dog that received special medical treatment every day and had to be watched regularly as he grew mean and tiredsome due to his deteriorating health. Fortunately, he is in a better place, but it shows that I can manage and care for dogs all of different behaviors and necessities and if I can use some of that stuff for other dogs, I've love to.

“I’ve used Chelsea several times to walk my two large dogs . She handles my pets with care and kindness, especially my Goldie who has anxiety. Chelsea is willing to flex to meet the needs of not only my dogs but also my schedule. She has helped me out on short notice on multiple occasions and is consistent with the care she provides. I have no problem recommending her for walks or longer periods of time if you’re looking for someone responsible to help with your fur family!”
