“Kim is absolutely fantastic! Great communication and super patient and loving with even the most diva of dogs. 10/10 would use again. She sent great pics and made sure Jolie enjoyed all the spoils we would give if we were with her. Perfect. Thank you Kim!”

“This was our first time using Rover and I was really nervous. Jamie is very kind hearted and our two fur babies enjoyed their time with her. One of our pups usually does not immediately take to people and she went right over to Jamie and visited with her a couple of times during our meet and greet prior to hiring Jamie. Jamie was fine with the instructions we left for feeding, walking, and how to make our fur family feel less stressed by keeping their routine. We already have Jamie scheduled for two more trips we have coming up. Thanks for your help Jamie. ☺️”

“Ruth was amazing with our dog and cat. She was prompt and very communicative throughout the visit. Our dog required eye drops and medicine and she was able to administer them with no issues. She also cleaned up after the pets and ensured our sheets were clean and ready for us when we came back home on a late flight. Lastly, she even coaxed our very shy cat out from hiding! We appreciate her professionalism and taking such great care of our pets!”

“I can not say enough great things about Libah. She made my trip so much better because I had no worries about leaving her with my boy Journey. She provided daily pictures and messages. Some days there were multiple communications. She was absoluty great. I would without a doubt, would without hesitation use her again. Trust me if you are looking for a sitter, she is the one you should go to!!”

“Erin is great with our little Daisy and she definitely left the house in tip top shape (better than it was left). We will continue to be a repeat customer. Thank you, Erin.”

About: Hello! My name is Bella and I am new to rover! I have 3 years of experience pet sitting and would love to take care of your furry friends! I’ve always had a love for all animals and have cared for senior animals as well! Looking forward to hearing from you! I’m working part time and have flexible hours so I can be available anytime you need me! I like pet sitting because I get to meet new people and their fur babies. Since I work from home it’s a good opportunity to get out of the house too! I will go above and beyond to make sure your pet feels safe and cared for in my company. I will send updates as frequently as you would like and stay with them as long as you’d like!

About: I’ve been around dogs my whole life and have taken care of every kind — from tiny lap dogs to big energetic pups. I have two dogs of my own, so I totally understand how pets are part of the family and how important it is to know they’re safe, happy, and cared for. Friends, neighbors, and family have trusted me for years to walk, feed, and love their pets like my own. I work completely remote & part time which means I have plenty of time and flexibility to care for your pets. I’m available for walks, drop-ins, and overnight stays, and I always make sure to give regular updates and photos so you can relax knowing your pets are happy. When I’m in your home, I’ll treat it with the same respect I give my own. I follow your instructions exactly, keep doors and gates secure, and make sure your pets stick to their normal routine. I’ll always keep you updated and let you know right away if I notice anything out of the ordinary.

About: Hi, I’m Valerie! Born and raised in New York, I’m almost 30 (not the podcast 😉) and currently living between Florida and the Northeast. I work remotely in design and marketing, which gives me the flexibility to pet sit between work, cafés, and yoga. I’ve cared for pets in both Williamsburg and Sarasota — from plant sitting to dog sitting. Most recently, I looked after two amazing pups, a Rottweiler named Jono and a Scottish Terrier named Murphy. I completely fell in love with them! That experience opened my eyes to how much joy (and care) goes into looking after dogs, and it made me want to continue doing this whenever I’m visiting friends and family in the Northeast this fall (a perfect escape from hurricane season). I’m attentive, active, and love spending time outdoors — so your pup will always get plenty of walks, play, and love. I’m comfortable with medium-to-large dogs, but I do have a cat allergy, so I focus solely on dog sitting. If you’re looking for someone reliable, caring, and flexible with scheduling — I’d be happy to help care for your furry family member! I work full-time remotely Monday–Friday as a Social Media Manager, which gives me plenty of flexibility to be with your pets throughout the day. I can step away from my desk for walks, playtime, and snuggles in between meetings, lunch breaks, and coffee runs — so your pup won’t be left alone for long stretches. I can walk them, say hello, feed them or have a pup sleepover for a short-term and/ or long-term stay to keep them safe at home.

About: I have been an animal lover my whole life and recently started watching pets for my friends & neighbors. I enjoy being with animals and making sure they are happy and pampered. I'm retired and I have a very flexible schedule to take care of your pets any time you need. Days, nights, weekends, holidays and overnight stays welcome. Whatever your pet needs to stay healthy and active I can accommodate. Walking, playing, scooping, feeding, watering, and dosing meds plus a daily update with photo.

“It is not easy leaving your Fur Baby and Home to a Stranger but Susan from beginning to end was professional, friendly and obviously passionate about animals and their care. Susan went above and beyond caring for our Dog and Home and we have already Booked with her again. I highly recommend Susan and feel very lucky to have found her!”

“Best rover we have ever had. We have two older dogs with some incompetency problems and when we got home, everything was super clean. The dogs were super relaxed and happy and she even left on jazz music for them to chill too when we got home. 10/10 no notes she’s amazing”

About: What sets me apart as a sitter is the genuine love and patience I bring to every animal I care for. I take the time to get to know each pet’s personality and needs, whether that means helping a puppy learn good habits with gentle, consistent training or giving extra love and comfort to a senior dog who just wants a calm, cozy space. I treat every pet like family, and my goal is always to make them feel safe, happy, and loved while you’re away. Pet care is a very important part of my daily and weekly routine. I organize my time around their needs, making sure to include walks, playtime, feeding, and lots of love. I enjoy adjusting my day to give them company and attention, whether it’s for scheduled visits or longer stays. For me, it’s not just a task—it’s one of the best parts of my week! When I care for pets in my home or in a client’s home, I always make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved. I follow their usual routines as closely as possible—whether it’s feeding schedules, walks, playtime, or medication—so they feel at ease. In my home, I provide a calm and pet-friendly environment with plenty of space to relax and play. When I’m in a client’s home, I’m respectful of their space and make sure their pet gets personalized care and attention, just like they would if their family were there.

“Donna was the best find on Rover! We interviewed a few people and just didn’t feel comfortable until we found her. She showed up when she said, our pups loved her, and we are so thankful for her. 😊”

“Cher was wonderful with our Zoey. Zoey is my ESA and sometimes has seperation anexity. She was so patient and understanding. Even gave me a music playlist to help Zoey. If you want someone to trust with your fur babies it would be her. Highly recommended.”

“Stephanie did a wonderful job stepping in for the first time with our 2 dogs- one 4 year old, one 7 months! She kept us posted everyday and sent great pictures! We will definitely use her services again!”

South Sarasota pet parents share their Rover experiences
Sophia did a terrific job dog sitting our very active terrier in our home for 6 days. She was loving towards him and sent us daily reports and cute photos. She also picked up our mail and newspapers and left our house neat and clean. We can highly recommend Sophia!

I couldn’t have asked for a better sitter! Danielle stayed overnight with our girl and was absolutely wonderful! Communication was great throughout the trip. I got regular updates and never had to worry. She went above and beyond taking care of our home and taking out the garbage for us. I was able to relax and enjoy my vacation knowing Juju was home and in good hands. Highly recommend and will definitely book again!

Danielle was super helpful watching our pups and senior cat for us at the last minute. She is super communicative sending pictures and keeping us updated on how things were going at home. We had a great trip thanks to Danielle. We knew they were in great hands. We will definitely have her pet sit for us again. We can’t wait to have her help us out again soon

Stephanie is amazing! She was very responsive and went out of her way to accommodate a tricky short-term need despite typically requiring more advance notice. She was professional, highly respectful, and provided excellent care. Her gentle and approachable nature made her a natural with our skittish dog. It's clear that she loves animals and is dedicated to their well-being. I highly recommend Stephanie for your next Rover booking!

Joy is absolutely fantastic. My pup had a waggy tail for her the second time that he met her, and he usually takes a long time to trust someone. I was quite surprised and thoroughly pleased. It made leaving him in her care so much easier for me. I will absolutely have Joy stay in my home and take care of Jax EVERY time that I am away. She was a perfect guest and fantastic caretaker for Jax.
