This was my first time with getting a dog sitter instead of taking my dogs to the kennel. Even though I didn't have signal on my phone while I was away, I got plenty of pictures of them so tired and comfortable when I did get service. Roy was totally flexible about time. I came home pretty late and felt bad about the time, but he was totally fine with it. My dogs seemed to have a great time with him. They looked tired when I picked them up. Will definitely have Roy sit for my dogs again.

Preparing to go on a relaxing vacation is really stressful especially when you have to leave a furry family member at home. As much as I wanted to take my dog (Mama) I knew it would be easier to board her while I was gone. I procrastinated and within a week of my trip I heard about rover.com. So I searched my area and thankfully I found Roy. He is an animal lover like myself. He is easy to talk to. I took Mama over for the initial meet and greet a few days prior. Roy lives alone with no other pets. My dog is 14 years old and has vision and hearing issues. About a month prior she was startled and bit a guy riding passed us on a bike, Roy didn't seem to mind when I told him. Knowing that it was just him with my dog really put my mind at ease. She was getting one on one attention and I didn't have to worry about any potential problems with Mama and other animals or kids. So I was very happy with his boarding services. She stayed for 8 nights with Roy and he kept in touch with me all week. If he had concerns or questions he contacted me via text as well as sending pictures. My dog is a shelter rescue and I would NEVER want to board her in a kennel because it would stress her out. This is a perfect resolution to those who need to leave their pet but do not like the thought of their pet in a kennel all day. I'm a single mom on a budget and this was a very affordable option. Contact Roy if you are in the Cincinnati/Northern KY area. Now that I know y dog is in good hands it is one less thing to stress about. I will be calling Roy again to watch Mama.
