This was our first experience using a house sitter. Our mini dachshund Bella is nearly 13 years old and has daily oral medication needs. The last few times we boarded her, either at daycamp type places or the vet we just knew she wasn't enjoying herself. The latest place we were using stop taking senior dogs for boarding, so we decided to try house sitting. Riley was experienced in all the things that gave me anxiety about having someone stay in our home and watch our furbaby. Communication was good and Riley left our home clean and as if he wasn't even here for 10 days. We will most definitely use Riley again.

Riley does great with my hyper dog and really makes him feel at ease! He always takes great care of the house too! My pets mean so much to me, and it is a huge relief to not worry about them when we go out of town. We really appreciate Riley!

Riley was great! He stayed in our house with our dog (4 nights). He sent pictures and updates daily. He not only took great care of our furry loved one he cleaned up after himself around our house. Would recommend him and we will be using him again.

I would not hire this sitter again. He did not follow our instructions nor keep a close watch on our puppy like we requested. He left before I returned home from our trip, probably to avoid discussing the damage to our home due to his negligence. We have potty stains all over the furniture and carpets, plus furniture chewed. We had cameras in our home which I mentioned before we left for our trip. He displayed very poor behavior and he was aggressive with our puppy when he made messes. However he did not crate our puppy at night which was our requirement. Our dogs were left alone to do whatever they wanted throughout the house for long stretches of time- causing more house damage. One month later I am still finding damage to our carpets throughout the house which could’ve been avoided if the sitter did what he said he would do. I have no idea what he did all day, but it was not watching our pets. I caution anyone hiring this man as a house sitter as he did not follow instructions and was not honest with us about our house damage. I had to figure out that our puppy peed on our couch twice and confront him about it. When hiring a Rover sitter- buy cameras to have proof of what is really going on in your home. We would have never known what happened.

This is the second time Riley has watched Blue and Max and he did a great job once again. We will for sure be hiring again soon!
