“Jack was really settled & happy during his stay with Andrew. Lots of lovely long walks, and a fair few cuddles on the sofa. They got on like a house on fire, and became firm friends, even though it was only a short stay. Jack didn't even look up when I left after dropping him off... :-( Andrew kept me updated with what they were up to & sent some pictures, which was great. I would have no hesitation in recommending Andrew - he takes time to understand a dog's quirks & foibles, and tailors his plans accordingly. Jack had such a great time that when I went to pick him up, I had to literally drag him to the door!!”

“Aviral and his lovely wife looked after our dog for 10 days. He isn't the easiest of dogs to looks after and they couldn't have been better with him. Communication was outstanding everyday, lots of updates with pictures and videos and details of feed time and walks. We could not be happier. Rocket absolutely loved staying with them you could tell how well he had been looked after. I couldn't recommend this sitter more!!! “Kate very kindly agreed to look after our two boys with just over a weeks’ notice. We did meet up a few days prior to the stay to make sure our two Labradors were happy with Fraser - not that there were any concerns but a nice touch to agree to meeting up. Kate and her family have done a fab job, plenty of updates and photos. Including a photo of Fraser cuddling into Bailey! Super cute! I think my two labs would have happily stayed longer and were a little disappointed that I picked them up and took them home away from Fraser :) Would definitely book with Kate again and would highly recommend.”

“Eve is really great with Hudson. It was our first time boarding our dog with someone and we were not sure how he’d cope. But Eve was fantastic, her experience showed straight away; getting to know Hudson and helping us with the process too. The messages through the day reassured us he was relaxed and enjoying himself. “I've known the Robson family for many years and they've looked after my collie cross Maggie for me on many occasions. We started with walks with them to get her comfortable with them, then an overnight try out which went very well. They always send me pictures when they're looking after her and tell me what they've been doing with her which is lovely and always reassuring. When I pick her up after a holiday, she looks sorry to be leaving! The family are friendly, sensible, lovely people who love dogs and love being outdoors so, you can be assured your dog will get plenty of walks as well as play in the house. Thomas has taught Maggie new games when looking after her and brings out a different, playful side to her character when she stays with them. They are lifelong dog lovers, a solid couple and really,  just lovely trustworthy people - I have absolutely no reservations in recommending them to look after precious pets.”

About: I’ve had my family dog for 12 years now (in Ireland) and am looking to get a dog for myself in Newcastle. I started walking dogs locally (heaton and jesmond) to help get my steps in but also to spend some time walking a dog around the city. I’ve been walking 2 beautiful poodle dogs for a number of months now and would love to do the same for other dogs! I’m working full time during the week but am available during weekends to dog walk and dog sit! Happy to take them to beaches, out of the city in my car for a walk or even just to look after them while you’re away for the night/ weekend. I have a fenced yard with no grass but can have dogs in my flat. I also live with my boyfriend who has grown up with 5 family dogs in his house!

“Emma provides genuine love and attention to each animal she interacts with. She provided top quality care, bathing my dogs and making them feel comfortable, and made sure they were well exercised. Before taking on my dogs, she asked for a detailed lists of instructions and how my dogs behave- in both a home setting and public. I’ve never known someone to be so through, and keeping my updated if she noticed anything different in their behaviour.”
