“I’ve only left Max somewhere once before so obviously I was quite anxious to leave him with someone he didn’t know. However Max absolutely loved Erin and was settled straight away! Erin was lovely at drop off, easy to talk to, doesn’t rush you away so felt more at ease leaving Max. She has another dog who Max wasn’t bothered by at all which was a bonus in the fact he had a friend he could play with too! She kept me updated throughout the stay with pictures & messages. Max is rubbish on a lead and pulls really hard and she still took him out for a walk & play both in the evening and in the morning. I would not hesitate to choose Erin to look after Max next time we need someone. Thank you!”

About: Hello I am a 23-year-old trainee solicitor currently completing my first year of training from home full-time. This means I have an extremely flexible schedule to walk and care for your furry friends! I grew up with dogs, and I am now the owner of two doggies. Oscar the Cavapoochon is eight years old, and I have had him since I was 15 as a puppy. A new addition to our family is one-and-a-half-year-old Coco the Schnoodle, who has fitted in perfectly with her extremely playful personality. Whilst I have no professional experience (I have never charged for services before), thanks to this and regularly looking after friends’ dogs, I know how to take care of dogs and all their needs. My dogs are treated as part of the family, and so will yours! With the peak district just down the road, we are constantly going on new adventures, which always end up with a nap and snuggle on the sofa! I know how anxiety-inducing it can be to find someone you trust to walk and care for your dog. Hopefully, I can give you peace of mind by offering a service that matches how you care for your dog. Our dogs are allowed in all rooms and on the furniture, including sleeping in the bed. We are lucky to have a large field near our house, including many off-road walks. We also take them to the Peaks at least once a week. They are rarely left on their own and taken as many places we go as possible.

“Joe and Holly recently cared for our Frenchie, Frankie for 10nights. This was the first time we had left him for more than a night and the first with someone other than family. We we're really nervous but Joe and Holly were amazing, allowing us to meet up with them ahead of time so we could ensure Frankie was settled. Whilst away they sent plenty of updates, pictures and videos, and even with the extreme weather they made sure Frank stayed cool and safe. We cannot reccomend Joe and Holly enough as this experience has taken away our anxiety completely. The only down side was Frank didnt want to leave and has been sulking ever since! If we could give more than 5stars we would ?”

“Couldn’t be happier. It was the first time leaving puppy Frank at 20 weeks old, newly vaccinated but still needing some training. I realty appreciated Susan taking on this as it’s over above dog sitting. Frank immediately settled when we first met which met and immediately knew this was the right space for Frank to holiday. As we were travelling through different countries and time zones I didn’t feel it fair to have many updates but having seen how comfortable he was I never worried once whilst away. He has settled straight back at home so I know he has enjoyed the experience too 😂”

Even better is he's still tired the day after (finally some peace and quiet!) so he must have been racing around having fun all day! About: I have no dogs at home, but jointly take care of my partner's dog Riley (German Shepard cross Belgian Malinois) and love him with all of my heart. I also have experience cat-sitting for my good friend's as they have a feral cat who is very nervous when left alone. Although I don't have any professional animal skills, I absolutely trust myself to take good care of your pets and return them to you just as happy as they were on arrival. I have 2 gerbils and 1 hamster, whom I love with (almost) all of my heart. The rest is saved to share amongst dogs ❤️ I am also a small animal Foster carer with the Blue Cross, currently fostering 4 beautiful chinchillas. They are securely caged and rest assured your furry friend will not be able to access them. If there ever were to be an accident though, I take full responsibility for the safety of my small pets ❤️ I work 9-5 on weekdays, so am happy to take your doggies in the evenings. I am also available for walks and sitting any time over the weekend. I live in a flat and don't have access to a private garden, however I live right next to a huge park so there is plenty of opportunities for walks and toilet breaks. If your dog needs frequent outside access, perhaps my home is not the place to keep them overnight, however I would absolutely love to take them for a walk whenever you need a break.

About: i’ve taken care of dogs all my life and i have done 3 years of animal studies. i enjoy looking after them and spending time with them. i currently work part time so i have time in the days and at night, weekends can be a struggle but im willing to work things out. I walk my dogs twice a day and play with them throughout the day, they have regular toilet breaks and plenty of treats throughout the day.

“An absolutely outstanding experience, exceeding all our expectations. We had never left Coco, our 3 year old working cocker, with anyone before. We wanted coco to have a loving and caring home for 10 days while we went on a holiday abroad - one we so desperately needed. It was essential to find someone with vast experience providing added assurance, enabling us to enjoy our holiday and not worry about Coco. Purely by chance we came across the Rover website. I spent an evening reading profiles of the different people Rover suggested - fitting Coco’s needs and who where in my local area, this is how we found Julie. We made contact with Julie and after initial messaging, she requested that we visit to ensure she was happy to care for Coco and to ensure that we felt Coco would be happy in her care. The visit went extremely well and we felt so lucky to have found Julie who is a super friendly and genuinely lovely lady. She is ultra professional, exceptionally caring and a true dog lover. Over our holiday period Julie sent beautiful daily photos of Coco being walked, playing in the garden and being cuddled. It was so reassuring to see Coco happy on her holiday while we enjoyed ours. On our return Julie had bathed Coco and even washed her bed and toys. This was a totally outstanding experience in every respect! 10/10”
