“Debbie and Andrew have a great love for dogs and our rather nervous border collie rescue dog quickly made herself at home and felt comfortable being left behind. It was lovely to see the daily photos of walks and play while we were on holiday and good to see her socialising with other dogs, which had been an earlier problem. I can heartily recommend this home and I will be making future bookings rather than using kennels.”

“This is the first time I’ve ever had to leave our dog with someone we don’t know. We booked in Blue (Our Frenchie) for a very last minute overnight stay as it was my sons 21st birthday which meant all my family and friends would be attending so no-one to take care one of our dogs. After several messages I felt Naomi was the perfect person to take care of our frenchie Blue. We decided to meet up prior to see how Blue is and how Naomi was with Blue. I can honestly say that Naomi was extremely welcoming and really took the time to understand Blues needs. I went away knowing that I could leave Blue and he’d be taken good care of and came back the following day with Blue. I was sent updates which was nice to see and reassuring to know Blue settled right in. Naomi is fantastic kind young lady who clearly adores dogs. I would not hesitate to book Blue back into stay. Despite blue not being able to go out for long period of times due to the heat he was still able when we got him home he pretty much just slept”

“Angus had his first stay with Jenny and Aaron and I wouldn’t hesitate to book with them again. This was Angus’ first time being cared for by anyone outside of the family so we were a little worried how he would be. Jenny and Aaron came to meet Angus first before his stay and wanted as much info as possible on him which provided a lot of reassurance. Angus seemed more than happy when he was dropped off and picked up! They are a lovely couple and sent some photos. 100% recommend and will book again! Thank you 😊”

About: Dogs have been a massive part of my life from childhood. I have always had springer spaniels and Staffies. I also have experience looking after basset hounds, terriers and German shepherds. I live in central lytham (the most dog friendly place in the U.K.) and work from home, so your furry friend would never be alone. This is my first time using rover so am happy to have a phone chat / meeting with your pet before booking. “Karen has taken care of 2 of my dogs (cockerpoo and bichon) multiple times and treats them with so much love as if they were her own. She tailors to the needs of both, one being younger and needing regular walks and the other other being an older dog who simply wants to cuddle all day. She’s been fantastic with the medication of my younger dog too! The only issue is the dogs never want to leave her when I come to pick them up!”

Also I think having Mac her dog was a bonus for Alaska to play and go on walks with.”

About: I have owned 1 dog, cared and dog sat for family and friends frequently. Grew up with a cat so I am fully capable of caring for your pets. would love a pet of my own but due to mine and my partners work schedule do not feel we are in the position to have our fur baby at present. I work part time and am able to board over weekends, walk Monday Tuesday and weekends. My 4 year old not furry baby loves all animals and is well behaved and calm around animals respecting their space and personalities. I have a fenced in garden, a park over the road and the nature reserve within walking distance. Happy to use a crate if that is preferred. Pets are welcome on furniture if that is preferred but happy to follow whatever the owner does at home.

“Geoff looked after my dog Radley so I could go out to celebrate an upcoming wedding with my daughter. Radley is very old with dementia and doesn’t settle well in the evenings. Geoff was kind and gentle with him, took him for a little walk and made sure he was settled before I came home. I’m very grateful to Geoff and it gave me great comfort to know Radley had been well cared for. Geoff also left a little record of Radleys good behaviour for me to read when I got home 🥰. We will be seeing Geoff again very soon ❤️”
