We met with Helen and her partner beforehand and we were immediately at ease, Helen is very happy to let our dog be "at home" in her home, it didn't take long for them to be running around, jumping on the sofa and playing with toys they found. Helen was super accommodating with drop off and collection times. I 100% recommend, we have already booked her again to look after both our dogs next time.”

“Vicky and her partner Martin along with their 4 month old black Lab Viva looked after our 12 week old black lab puppy Remy. We met with them to see how the dogs got on prior to Remy's stay and Vicky and Martin were very welcoming. During Remy's stay Vicky kept in touch with updates and pictures which was great for reassurance that Remy was doing well. She and Viva were having a great time playing together and Remy appeared to be very happy and stimulated during her stay. When we picked Remy up she seemed so happy and content in her suttoundings and I almost felt bad taking her back home away from her new friends. I would absolutely recommend Vicky and Martin to care for your dog and can't praise them enough. Thank you Vicky, Martin and Viva.”

I have two dogs, Maisie and Millie-Mai who are working cocker spaniels and they got on so well with Poppy, She made us all feel so welcome and bonded with my dogs instantly which put me at ease. Even though it had been 6 months since their last stay they went trotting in as if they owned the place. (In fact they’re so much at home I think they think they do!) When we left them we felt so happy and relaxed that they would be happy and secure. It makes such a difference to going away. When we pick them up you can see how chilled they are. About: I have been surrounded by animals my whole life, starting with hamsters and guinea pigs as a child to now owning my own special little dachshund! He has had a nervous personality since a pup so I am very experienced with dealing with this around new people and other animals. I feel it’s made me very aware of dogs behaviours, good and not so good! Alongside this, I have always looked after and cared for friends and family’s pets when needed, both dogs and cats. I am currently working full time, however I am free most Friday afternoons to Sunday evenings to help when needed! I can’t offer drop ins during the week, however more than happy to offer pet sitting, walks and drop ins on the days listed above. I have a fenced garden in my home and my own dog that lives with me. However if you needed your pet to be the only one during their stay or walk, I can also accommodate this! My own dog is crate trained so I am experienced with handling this and can accommodate it.
