About: Growing up with summer holidays on my aunt and uncles farm in Scotland taught me how to care for animals My first job as a toddler was to feed the chickens and collect the eggs I used to go up on trailer to feed sheep and cattle, and play with the farm dogs Growing up I always had dogs and wanted that for my children as well But at our busiest we had 2 dogs, 2 cats, 2 guinea pigs, 2 budgies and 2 gerbils. Living in Switzerland at the time we had many international friends who used to travel and we would regularly take it in turns to house sit for each other I am calm and caring with nervous pets and not phased by walking having completed many long distance paths like Hadrian's walk and Offas dyke - so pets that need a good exercise is a joy Over a period of a year I have been able to do 16 house sits - see photos and 5 star feedback On other well known house and pet sitting site Due to location driveway at property also available for car storage during holidays leaving from Exeter Airport and drop off and collection could be organised for fee I am retired and continue to do house and pet sitting in other peoples homes. I am looking to extend this care in between these sits to build a local selection of families that I can support with their pet care needs from the comfort of my own home as well I have a fully fenced in rear garden with plenty of space to play. Also I am surrounded by parkland walkable from my front door. About: Hi, I'm Leo. I've looked after dogs, in some capacity, for over 8 years. I'm an experienced sitter and walker. I now have a dog and home of my own. I've had a small number of private clients for in-house boarding in the past, but now I'm looking to offer care from my own home. I have experience caring for labradors, spaniels, retrievers, french bulldogs, fenlanders, cockerpoos, dachshunds, staffies, pouchons and bull Arabs. My own dog is a very friendly, sweet, submissive Springer spaniel (2 years old). I also have a Cornish Rex cat, who is more like a dog in cat form. They get on really well. We live on Exeter's historic quayside so there lots of nice walks very close to us. You dog would have Archie as a companion for their stay. I offer boarding and day care. Please note I cannot take bitches in heat, or dogs with a history of dominating intact males. Archie loves dogs and is very submissive to everyone, despite being young and intact. I also cannot take dogs who would snap at my cat. I work full-time, with Fridays working from home. I have a dog myself, which I walk at lunch and after work. I can offer care over most weekends. I have a 2 bed terrace with an enclosed garden. Your dog would be downstairs with my dog, right next to me whilst I work.
