“I’ve waited a while to leave Nicola a review, because our girl Dolly, had extremely bad separation anxiety, so Nicola devised a plan, to help us through it. I’m being completely honest here, I really didn’t think that we’d get there. My stomach was truly in knots about our girl not being able to cope and as much as we adore and love her, the thought of us not ever being able to have any holidays or day trips, was truly upsetting and frustrating. Nicola never gave up, and was always honest and adamant, that she wanted to do everything possible to help our girl and us. After a fair few hours of having Dolly, but easing her in gently, slowly but surely, we were seeing massive improvements, each time she went. Nicola even devised another plan, for when Dolly was picked up and dropped off, I had initially been walking her up, leaving her, then walking back for her, once her session with Nicola was finished. Nicola, quite rightly decided that by doing it this way, was making Dolly realise that once I’d dropped her off, I’d be leaving, hence her separation anxiety, would begin, so after chatting to me, it was decided that Nicola would begin to fetch Dolly from ours and then bring her back, after her visit was over……….. GENIUS, it worked like a dream. We had another few Doggy Day Cares before we tried the ultimate, of Dolly getting booked in with Nicola, for a nights boarding. Our girl had her sleepover and was not fazed one little bit. She was as good as gold and Nicola even mentioned that any house noise, or noise from another Dog, did not disturb her, or bother her whatsoever. We had an extremely happy Dolly, dropped back off to us the next morning. Music to our ears!!!, and all thanks to the help and guidance from Nicola, who never faltered once and went above and beyond, to try everything possible, to help our girl and indeed us. We are so grateful and thankful that we found Nicola. Dolly adores her and has so much fun with Boots. Long May this continue, we are now confident enough to book holidays and know, that Dolly will be just fine. She will also still go for the odd Doggy Day Cares with Nicola, so we keep to a routine. Thank you so much, it’s hard to put into words how much this means to us as a family❤️”

“I could not have left my little dachshund Rosie with a more caring and loving family . Natasha boarded my little rescue dog for 8 days . Rosie loved every minute. She was allowed to cuddle up to Natasha while she was working from home . They took her lots of walks to the woods and Derbyshire villages . I felt completely relaxed and reassured knowing my dogs were happy and well cared for whilst we were away. “I have known Alex for many years and he has always had a great love of animals of all kinds but especially dogs. He is not currently in a position to own a dog so this job would suit him perfectly. He has previously walked dogs for members of my family and looked after my cat whilst I was on holiday, making sure there was fresh food and water twice each day and spending time playing with him so that he wasn’t lonely whilst I was away. He is very comfortably around dogs and cats and they in turn are calm and happy with him. I highly recommend him for the position.”

About: I offer a dog and small animal boarding and day care in the village of Inkersall, Chesterfield. We are located just off the M1. I live with my husband Adam and our 2 kids. Adam works from home part time so will be available to help with the dogs occasionally too. I have a big enough home to have different zones suited to our dogs needs- Dog rooms, fenced dog garden, and sleep/calm zones with a huge green and beautiful woods with stream opposite along with many countryside walks. I love to have the dogs in the main part of the home with us too so they can feel right at home. I have spaces for all different dogs with their different needs. Whether they like their own space more or to be with us humans and /or other dogs all day. I can meet their unique needs so they feel as happy as possible! I adore dogs and treat them as my own! I have always had dogs mainly golden retrievers since I was aged 5! I have lots of experience dog sitting for my family and friends. I keep an organised schedule of feeding times/medication etc. I have over 15 years of experience with dogs and relevant first aid/qualifications. About: I have a diploma in animal management and a degree from the RVC in bioveterinary science. I have volunteered in many veterinary practices, hydrotherapy centre for dogs, both worked and volunteered in kennels and catteries. I currently work in a doggy daycare during the week I work at a doggy daycare Monday- Friday. I'm home at around 5 so evening care can be arranged. Weekends are completely free. My partner also works from home, so week care can be arranged with discussion I have a fenced back garden, a resident cat that can be seperated if necessary. Pets are allowed on furniture, a crate can be arranged if needed also.
