Our dog Marley was with them for a week and he was treated as family which made our vacation so much more calm and it was nice to follow along with pictures and videos. Über: I’m a reliable and attentive pet sitter with hands-on experience caring for both cats and dogs. We have two cats and a very social 2-year-old golden retriever at home, so I’m used to managing feeding routines, walks, playtime, cleaning up accidents, and giving pets structure and attention throughout the day. I’m currently on parental leave, which gives me a very flexible schedule and plenty of time for walks, check-ins, cuddles, and keeping pets company. I’m also happy to help with things around the house while you’re away, like watering plants, bringing in mail/packages, or generally keeping an eye on the home. For overnight stays at our house, dogs would need to be comfortable around other dogs, since our golden is extremely friendly and loves company. We have a backyard, and walks can either be just with your dog (often together with a stroller) or alongside our dog too, depending on what your pet is most comfortable with. Since I’m currently on parental leave, pet care fits very naturally into my daily routine and I have a fairly flexible schedule throughout the week. Daily walks, outdoor time, and structured routines are already a big part of our household with our own golden retriever, so adding another dog or doing check-ins for cats works well for us. Most days I’m home for the majority of the day, which means pets are rarely left alone for long periods. Walks can easily be worked into stroller walks, separate one-on-one walks, or combined walks with our dog depending on your pet’s personality and needs. I’m also available for feeding visits, playtime, medication routines, evening check-ins, and overnight care for compatible dogs. I try to keep pets’ routines as consistent and low-stress as possible, whether they’re staying with us or I’m caring for them in their own home. I pay close attention to feeding schedules, walk routines, sleeping arrangements, energy levels, and any instructions around training, medication, or behavior. I also send regular updates and photos so owners know how things are going. In our home, pets are supervised closely and introduced calmly to our very friendly golden retriever if applicable. We have a fenced backyard, plenty of walking areas nearby, and experience managing a multi-pet household with both dogs and cats. Safety-wise, I’m careful with doors, leashes, feeding separation if needed, and making sure pets always have a calm space to rest. In clients’ homes, I’m respectful of routines and the home itself — I’m happy to water plants, bring in mail, clean up after pets, and generally make sure everything is well looked after while you’re away.
