“I felt very happy leaving Piper with Philippa. She immediately came across as gentle and confident, and I could tell that Pipes liked the house and would settle there. It was a calm environment, without windows onto the street, which meant she could relax. Level of contact was just right- and Philippa checked this with me as we went along- and they were able to manage instructions around a few dog quirks easily. When I collected her, Piper seemed happy in Philippa’s company, and settled back home easily too. Success! Thank you !”

She welcomed him into her home like he was her own and he loved spending time in her care. Great daily walks, she understood about his allergies and his dietary needs - and he got on great with the other dogs, Gigi and Oscar there too. If you’re looking for genuine ‘home from home’ care, I couldn’t recommend Chloë more highly. We’ve been away many times since our first weekend away and feel more than comfortable leaving Bob now. About: I have always loved dogs and adore their company. I had a border collie cross who lived to just over 17 years old and now have a lurcher, who came to us as a puppy and who is now 3 1/2 years old. I have always enjoyed looking after friends’, family and neighbours’ dogs who occasionally come to stay in our home. I love the routine of getting out and going for dog walks in the beautiful green spaces surrounding where we live. I like to do 2 longer walks a day and a shorter walk before bedtime. I live very close to Royal Victoria Park and Approach golf course where I often walk with my dog, as well as trips to Rainbow woods, Bath skyline, Primrose woods and Charlcombe fields. I work from home. I do 2 main walks a day, one first thing in the morning and one in the afternoon and then a smaller walk before bedtime. I also have a garden for the dogs to play in inbetween walks. We are a family of three, which includes my husband and our 14 year old daughter. Your dog will be allowed in all parts of our home (just not on sofas and beds!). We have our own female dog Tilly, a friendly lurcher so your dog will also have some canine company and will be looked after as part of the family. We have a back patio and garden which is walled and completely secure where your dog can relax and play in in between walks.
