About: I’ve taken care of animals my entire life. I regularly volunteer at the Mat-su Animal Shelter. I also have taken veterinary classes in high school and currently work as a vet tech assistant. I currently work as a vet tech assistant in anchorage where I work 10 hour shifts 3 days a week my schedule is 8-6:30pm. If I’m not at work I’ll be hanging out with your lovely fur baby I like to stay the night and most of the day at my clients house. I’ll give your pet lots and lots of love, I don’t mind all the hair or slobber, don’t hit animals (I will use my voice to reprimand if needed), don’t smoke inside clients homes I smoke outside and will try my best not to let the smell follow me in but I will never smoke in the house with your pet. I also like to have friends over, if you’re not comfortable with that please let me know.

“This was our first time using Rover. We selected Ellen because she had many positive reviews as well as multiple returning clients. We made the right choice selecting Ellen to watch our fur babies. She is extremely accommodating and understanding. Our 2 pups have a number of quirks, but Ellen worked with them and gave them a home away from home. She sent multiple pictures a day and some videos, along with an update of the daily activities. We will absolutely be using Ellen if we go away and need a sitter. I cannot speak any higher of Ellen. “Mary was amazing. My dog Thyon is a sweet but skittish boy. Since making a big move from the country to the city, he has suffered from anxiety which he needed to be medicated for. I tried traditional boarding facilities however they were not a good fit. There were too many loud noises and he always came home stressed and nervous. Mary provided a wonderful environment. Not only was he able to quickly adapt and feel comfortable, but he seemed to thrived there. He was running in the yard with her dog Elle. Which he has not done since we moved months ago. I have finally found a place where I am comfortable to leave my boy and know he’s being well cared for. Thanks Mary!”
