“Ivanna is truly amazing. I’ve been her friend for many years, and she has always been incredibly caring—constantly finding ways to look after animals. From her childhood stories of rescuing cats and secretly caring for them, to her life as an adult putting out food for neighborhood chipmunks, cats, and bunnies, her compassion has always been evident. She even created a safe space in her backyard for a pregnant bunny and her babies. After her beloved dog Minnie passed away, Ivanna turned her grief into something meaningful by fostering dogs until they could find loving homes. She’s also raising three wonderful boys who share her love for animals and are always excited about the possibility of welcoming another dog into their lives. Recently, she pet-sat for someone and cared for their dog so well that it didn’t want to leave when it was time to go home.
