“Cyndy was nothing short of AMAZING! We were in the OBX for a weekly vacation rental but unfortunately in a house that was not pet friendly - booked months before we adopted our lovebug Ollie, a 35 lb mutt. I was a little hesitant at first because Cyndy has several very large dogs, but after reading the glowing reviews, I decided Cyndy was the best option. When we first arrived, she had her dogs in their respective kennels and let let out one by one to meet Ollie. Initially he was frightened, but she assured me he would be ok. I love my dog so very much and just wanted him to be in a happy place while we were on vacation. Well, I booked the right sitter!!! I wasn’t even 5 miles away when I saw a text with pictures and videos of the dogs playing. I picked up Ollie several times to take him to the beach and each time I dropped him back off, he was happy as a lark to join the other pups. Cyndy has a wonderful shaded yard for the dogs to play and she takes them on long walks several times a day. Throughout the visit, she sent me videos and pictures. She spends lots and lots of time with them and treated Ollie like one of her dogs. Her husband Tommy is great with the pups too. If I ever need a dog sitter in the OBX in the future, I would not consider going to anyone else. If I could give her 10 stars I would!”

“Kimberly is so absolutely amazing!! My Marley is right at home with her and she is so good with him. She sends lots of pics and even some funny videos too and kept me updated throughout his stay. She’s such a fun loving person and you can tell she loves dogs and truly enjoys taking care of them. Her home is dog friendly as she lets them snuggle on the sofa with her and Hulk (her adorable pup who also loves having friends over to play with!) and I highly recommend her, you won’t be disappointed, that’s for sure! Should I need someone in the future it will def be Kimberly. She is also super flexible and chill which has been a huge help since we are just moving to the area and are in a hotel that doesn’t allow pets. She’s been so helpful and understanding while we go through the process of renting.a home which is taking longer then expected. I’m so thankful for her as I know my pet is happy and safe with her.”

“Erin was an awesome sitter. She watched our golden retriever for a couple days and had a fantastic setup; Giant fenced in backyard with a pool and other dogs that got along really well. “Mary is incredible! This was my first time using Rover. I'll admit, I was apprehensive. I have an older dog who does not do well in kennels. I was so happy to find an in home boarder! Although he is sweet, he was very confused and nervous about the strange place that I left him (as expected). Mary worked with him and calmed his nerves. Within the first few minutes of watching her interact with him, I could see that she is very experienced and had a calming effect on him. I really lucked out finding Mary and I am HIGHLY recommending her!!”

About: I’ve taken care of plenty dogs in my life. I’ve raised great Dane puppies from day one, and my pitbull puppy that I have now from day one. Everybody always praises me for how well I’ve done with them. I know how to give medication and any other special treatment required. I can do basic training, such as sit, lay down come here give paw and go potty. I’m currently employed and trying to do pet sitting on the side. I work Monday thru Friday, 7:30am to 3pm. I can do overnights, drop ins and walks when I’m not working. Where I live we have 2 dogs and 1 cat. I have two rats upstairs but they will stay in the cage while other animals are over. The cats name is Leo, he’s super friendly and loves all the attention. Their dog Fin is a golden doodle who’s about 9 months old, a bit wild but he’s a good boy who loves playing. My puppy October is a few months old, she’s a pit bull and she’s so sweet. She loves playing with other dogs and she’s very well socialized. We have a huge back and front yard (not fenced in) that I plan on putting a stake in the ground to chain a lead to. As I would parent children, I do the same with animals. “Gentle parenting” is what you would call it. Your animals will always be treated with respect, kindness and room for understanding.

Tracy was an absolute godsend. Mila and Milo are both the sweetest pups and between them and her boys playing with Tess she barely had time to feel homesick! Sweet girl had a ton of fun and I could sleep easy knowing she was loved and cared for.”
