About: I love being with animals so much I made it a career! I was a former K-9 Handler for a major security company in New York City. I loved my job and I loved working with my K-9 partner however, life happened and my family grew! I am now a stay at home mom and a U.S. Army Veteran raising my little one! My pet experience is when I first had a hamster at the age of 4 years old. Having a hamster definitely made me want to take on more responsibilities. That quickly turned to having a gecko, multiple bearded dragons (lizards), 4 dogs, 6 hamsters, 2 guinea pigs, 1 beautiful red tail Boa Constrictor, and 2 Holland Lop bunnies. Yes, growing up with animals made me want to becoming a Veterinarian. I went to college but, I didn't realize that Organic Chemistry would kick my behind, and that becoming a Veterinarian is more than just cuddling and loving on an animal. It is about learning their body, just like human doctors do! Now I have a pre-law bachelors degree and would rather give love to your pet, while also looking out for them while you are away! I am only sitting 3 dogs at a time. I want to make sure your pet has my individual attention as if it was a human child! I am a full time stay at home mom. My daily routine is dropping off my daughter to daycare, taking my service dog Nala on a long walk, and coming back home to relax. I live in an apartment 1,250 sq ft (so lots of space), ground floor, I have a huge open space (unfenced) behind my house with open green grass for your furry friend to run around. I also have a patio as apart of my apartment unit. I live super close to 3 parks around Piscataway/Edison area.

“My husband and I had to travel to South Carolina for a family wedding and left our boys with Cathy. We had previously used Camp Bow Wow but during our honeymoon our first boy got sick from another dog there. Since we adopted another dog this past June we didn’t want to bring them both there and pay an exorbitant amount for them to not really pay attention to our boys so we looked on Rover and found that Cathy had incredible reviews, and for good reason! Cathy’s house was clean and organized, smelled nice, and was very welcoming for our boys. The back yard is fenced in with a five foot fence and she had toys there for the boys to play with. Her dog Dakota is so sweet and was welcoming to the pups too and they had such a good time. We consistently got such cute photos of our boys and were kept up to date on their status. Our one sneaky bugger knocked his food over and it opened so he gobbled up all his food but Cathy just rolled with the punches and didn’t make us feel bad about it. We also learned upon picking up the boys that our sneaky one had diarrhea on her carpet after eating all his food, but again Cathy didn’t make us feel bad about any of it. We are so happy with Cathy and felt like we were leaving our babies with family or a very trusted friend. Cathy will be our first choice from here on out. Thank you Cathy!!!”

“She did great, we where on a cruise and only had signal for 2 days and it wasn’t great! However she got right back to me after texting her. She also took pictures and sent them. When picking him up they where nice enough to bring everything out and she let me know that she also gave him some chicken (which he loves) and mixed it with his food because he wasn’t waiting as much. We are very thankful to have found her she did great”

“This was our first time using Rover and boarding our one year old Maltese. We met with a couple of people and Jacqueline before we made a decision to board our baby. Jacqueline made us feel comfortable on our first meet and greet and our family instantly felt comfortable with boarding our pup with her. The biggest plus point was that she only had our pup for the four days and wasn’t planning on boarding additional dogs. We boarded him for 4 nights and she send us updates and pictures everyday and upon request. We did inquire about him quite a few times since it was his first time being away from us. Jacqueline was quick to respond and followed by pictures. We’re from out of town but would use her again if ever in the area.”
